||Chapter 14||

||Your Point of View - Red Army Main Base, Norway||

You tossed in bed, nuzzling against the smooth and warm sheets. You gripped a handful of the satin sheets, drooling on your silk pillow. You let a soft groan escape your lips, before scrunching up your eyes. Waking up slowly, you looked to your right side. There was a big window with red violet curtains draping to the sides. Letting out a soft breath, you shifted onto your back, before getting a better look of the room.

It was spacious and luxurious, the furniture was made from dark hickory wood, the Red Army symbol crest placed in the middle of the bed and drawers. To your side where your bedstands were, there were extremely fancy lamps. The room was painted a light gray while the flooring was dark cherry wood.

To the left was a vanity with an extravagant mirror, the sides dazzled with rubies. There was a large bookshelf beside it, filled with some of your favorite novels. Taking a breath, you pressed your forearms against your knees. "Where am I?" You whispered softly, not expecting a response. "You're in the Red Army Base, Kuro."

The familiarity of the voice made you lose your breath, your head snapping to the source of the sound. You let out a gasp, seeing your omega parent standing at the doorway. He looked rough and tired, dawning a new attire of red.

You shifted out of the bed, rushing over to your father pulling him into a tight hug. "Pa!" You cried out, squeezing his ribs. He let out a wheeze for breath, before returning the hug. "Missed me, hm?" He chuckled, ruffling your hair. You forced a chuckle out of yourself, before looking up at him. "Where were you?" You choked, trembling slightly.

His face altered, as he cupped your cheek softly planting a kiss on top of your head. As he leaned forward, you got a better whiff of his scent - He smelled like sex and alpha. Your eyes widened as you backed away slightly. "Father, have you been-?..." You trailed off, staring at his mated mark. He shuffled to the side, covering the mark on his neck. "I-... Kuro, I can explain..." He rasped, rubbing the still fresh mark on his neck.

You frowned, raising an eyebrow. "Then explain." You mumbled, folding your arms. He hesitated for a moment, before sighing. "I don't really know how to tell you Kuro, It's, it's all so complicated." He sputtered, running his fingers through his messy hair. You placed your hands on your hip, narrowing your eyes. Rubbing his forehead with his palm, he muttered a few curse words under his breath. "The Red Leader and I used to be, Fuck buddies - before the war. All activities with him ceased when it did begin, but..." He hesitated for a moment, looking to the side. "Let's just say we're both in a rather complicated situation right now."

The news settled in, leaving you stunned. The thought of the Red Leader even brushing past your father in an intimate way left you repulsed and disgusted. You pressed your lips together, digesting the horrific news. "So, my mission was in vain?" You spat, bitterness rising in your throat. "No." Your father snapped, a bewildered look on his face. Letting out a harsh breath, he massaged his forehead. "No, it wasn't. I- WE, need to get out of here. As soon as possible, before.... Anything else happens."

A sigh of relief escaped your lips, as your eyes fluttered for a moment. "Alright, so what's the plan?"

"I- Don't know yet actually... For starters, we have to do it in a more... Secure environment," He mumbled, motioning to the open door. You nodded, biting your index finger. "Okay so- Do I play along for now?" You asked, looking up for answers. Your father grimaced, before nodding his head. "Yes, you do. It's the only way you'll make it through this... Just, behave, okay?" He huffed, before looking up at you.

You gave him a look of desperation and sorrow, before pulling him into one last hug. "I'll try to slip away from the guards again, okay?" He whispered in your ear, before planting a kiss on the side of your forehead. Sniffling, you wiped away the tears that were threatening to spill. "Yeah, okay... Be safe, dad."

"I will- Try not to get yourself killed, okay Kuro?" He cooed, rubbing your cheek. You gave him a soft smile before he slipped back into the halls. Slowly closing your doors, you let out a pained grunt. Turning around, you looked at the vanity to see a set of clothing set down for you. Biting your lower lip, you picked up the attire.

Sliding off your red night-gown, you buckled up the high-waisted black skinny jeans and laced up the black combat boots. Tucking in your tight black shirt, you slipped over the red trench coat. You examined yourself, nearly baffled at the length of your hair. You had just cut it a few weeks ago and it was already down to your upper arms. Huffing in annoyance, you simply put it into a low side pony-tail before walking on the door. Shoving your hands into your pocket, you felt a warmth rise up in your cheeks - Inside was the half moon necklace your father gave you since... Birth. You smiled faintly, the pad of your fingertip tracing over the embedded design. As long as you had some kind of comfort in this hellhole, you knew you could survive.

Wandering in the base for what felt like hours you were stopped by a familiar face - MiMi. "About damn time we found ya'..." She mumbled under her breath, walking towards you. You felt the color drain of your body as you stared at her wide-eyed. Grabbing your wrist, she let out a huff. "Boss wanted to see 'ya by 10 am, and it's already lunchtime." She growled, pulling you down the halls.

"Hey- How the hell was I supposed to know?!" You hissed, narrowing your eyes as you tried to tug your arm away from her grip. "'Cause you supposed to sit there and wait for one of us to come get 'ya instead of wanderin' off like that. Do you know what kind of trouble 'ya caused?! Boss got a shit ton of soldiers searchin' for ya! He thought 'ya ran off!"

You let out a scoff of annoyance, rolling your eyes. "And why would he care where I went?" It seemed that the moment those words left your mouth, you found yourself being pinned against the wall. "Because having a fucking blue brit inside our Main Base is a disaster waiting to happen." Your breath was knocked out of you as your eyes widened open. She sneered, showing her teeth. "We know who you are and who you work for - It's a shame too. I really liked 'ya, but hey," She growled, leaning down, "Betray my trust and you'll find yourself 6 feet underground..." Pulling away, she curled her mouth in disgust. "But your fate isn't mine to decide. Now let's get you to the Red Leader's before he throws a fit..." She grumbled, pulling you away.

You were harshly breathing, trying to focus. If your cover was blown, what was going to happen to you? What about your father? Would he step in? Would he be killed too? So many things raced in your mind you hadn't even noticed you were being shoved into The Red Leader's office.

When the scent of a strong cinnamon cider, spices, and cigarette smoke hit your nose you perked up. You grimaced seeing the Red Leader tapping his metallic fingers on his oak desk impatiently. "Where were you? You had me worried sick." He growled, the parental tone in his voice throwing you off guard. You shifted to the side, opening your mouth to say something in defense. Holding his hand up, he motioned for you to stay quiet. "Just sit down." He rasped, regaining his proud and strong composure. Taking a seat in one of the red-cushioned chairs, you could feel your stomach knotting up. "Why am I alive?" You grumbled, looking down at your shaky hands. He raised an eyebrow, giving you a confused look.

"Don't you know?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side. You furrowed your eyebrows in doubt and confusion. "...No?" You managed to croak, feeling your heart race. His face lit up with shock and rage, nearly throwing his head back. Closing his eyes, he let out a snort of irritation. "Oh my..." He mumbled, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. Letting out a sigh of regret, he flicked his wrist as he gave you a smile that didn't settle to well with you.

"Well my dear, it seems there has been a change of plans."
