"It's no big deal."

Nikki peeks in my room from the bathroom. "No big deal? Brianna you're wearing heels and red lipstick I think it's a huge deal!"

"It's just a date. Actually I don't even think it's a date-date."

"He invited you to go out, that's a date!" She squeals walking in my room. She grabs her pair of heels that she messily left when she walked in.

"Don't worry, Paige and I will have your back just in case he wants to get touchy."

"I don't need you to rack attack my potential boyfriend." I reply rolling my eyes.

"Potential boyfriend?" She gasps.

"I meant to say-"

"You like him a lot then!"

My face starts heating up, "No, no. I mean of course I like him but I'm not crazy into him."

"Yeah whatever." She says laughing rolling her eyes.

"How do I look?"

I stare at Nikki's curvy body, full exposed cleavage, and beautiful tan skin. "Beautiful. How do I look?"

I stand up and suddenly feel a bit self conscious. My body doesn't look as voluptuous as hers, it never has.

"Gorgeous as hell of course! Come on let's go down to the lobby."

Before heading out I grab our room key and go to the elevator. "I'm actually really excited to eat the steak there. I heard it's delicious. You don't mind that Paige and I will be there, right?"

"Of course not. It's not like y'all are going to be invading us or anything."

"Ah. Good."

The elevator takes us down to the lobby and as the door opens I turn to Nikki.

"Have you talked to Dolph?"

"No."

Nikki's mood suddenly changes when I bring him up and I regret mentioning it. "Sorry I didn't mean to make you upset."

"No it's fine. I'm not upset. I'm over it."

"Over him?"

"Yeah. I honestly am. We were together for a long time and when we broke up I was heartbroken. I thought I missed him but I just missed the routine."

"Oh, I see."

"Mhmm. It's all good now though. We haven't talked recently but the last time we did we agreed to be friends. We will continue to be friends because I still love him. Not in that type of way but I do have a deep regard for him."

"I'm here!" Paige screams behind us. She gives us both a hug and a kiss on the cheek. "Wow you two look so gorgeous and I look like shit."

"If that's what shit looks like can I look like you please?" I joke.

She playfully smacks me and we head out the hotel door. The restaurant we're going to is down the block from the hotel we're staying in.

So we decided to walk.

"Are you excited?" Paige asks.

"More like nervous. I haven't been to a date in so long."

"Same dude."

When we get to the restaurant Paige and Nikki say their goodbyes and sit somewhere else. I decide to wait for my date at the front desk out of politeness.

The door suddenly opens and I turn around anxiously wanting to see him. Instead I see Roman.

He approaches me and I can't help to feel intimidated. Sure we both work in WWE, and yes we greet each other when we see each other but it's so nerve wrecking talking to him every time.

He's just so gorgeous.

I find it weird seeing him without his attire. He's wearing a dark wine long sleeve shirt that hugs his biceps perfectly. Along with black jeans.

His hair is tied in a messy bun and we he stands in front of me the smell of his cologne hits me.

"Hello there. How are you?"

Before answering I have to clear my throat, "I'm good. How are you?"

"I'm great. You look very pretty tonight. What's the occasion?"

I melt at his compliment. A man like him calling me pretty?

My cheeks start reddening and he seems to notice because a small smirk spreads on his lips.

"I - I'm here on a date."

"That's lovely. What a lucky man. Well I'll let you go my friend must be waiting for me. It was a pleasure talking to you."

He stretches his hand out and I extend mine to shake it but instead he grabs mine and kisses it gently.

A shiver goes down my spine when soft his lips touch my skin.

After that he simply walks in and I'm left flustered and pink.

"Brie!"

I quickly turn around and see Seth in a button up black shirt and dress pants. He smiles at me sweetly greeting me with a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I'm so, so, so, sorry for being late. Dean showered first and he finished all the hot water and he took forever and-"

"Seth, its okay. Don't worry about it."

"Good. You look very beautiful by the way."

"Thank you. You look very handsome."

"Okay shall we?"

He grabs my hand and I can't help get tingles inside. The restaurant host sits us down and I sit in front of him feeling my nervousness get stronger.

"Hello my name is Stefan and I will be your waiter tonight. Would you be interested in trying our wine tonight?"

"Yes." Seth responds.

The waiter puts two wine glasses down and pours us some. "I'll give you a few minutes to look at the menu."

"So how are you?"

"I'm good. How are you?"

"I'm great. So have you heard about-"

He stops talking and looks behind me a smile forming on his lips.

I turn around and see that it's Nikki and Paige. They're sitting in front of us not close enough to speak to them though.

Nikki and Paige both wave and Seth waves back. "Sorry. Like I was saying have you heard about your next storyline?"

"No. Have you?"

"Well apparently they want me to tag team with someone. I don't know who though."

"Really?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Interesting. I haven't really been in a storyline lately. My sister is divas champion and I'm just kind of there. She turned on me and well that's about it." I laugh embarrassed.

"Your sister is really good. She's been divas champion for a while now."

"Yes she's very good."

"Don't worry about you. I'm sure something will come up."

"Yeah. I'm sure."

The waiter comes back and we haven't even looked at the menu yet. Seth orders first and he seems to know the food here so I quickly pick a random dish.

"Do tell me what do you like to do, Brie?"

"Well... I like to do yoga, exercise, I like plants, nature. Back at home I have a garden, I like to grow crops. I recently planted a Chinese magnolia tree! I can't wait until it blossoms and there's beautiful white, pink, and purple flowers all over. It's so beautiful and-"

I stop talking when I notice that Seth is dosing off not listening to me. He's staring behind me again.

I turn my head and spot Nikki sitting on the table by herself. She's laughing at something on her phone.

She flips her hair and continues laughing. Seth is admiringly looking at her and that's when it hits me.

Seth finally notices me looking at him and he awkwardly coughs, "Sorry Brie. What were you saying?"

"Nothing important."

"I'm really sorry. Please repeat what you said."

"I said it's nothing important."

"Brie." He quietly says stretching his hand to grab mine. I quickly pull away feeling hurt and uncomfortable.

I get up from the table and he quickly follows me out of the restaurant.

"Brie wait-"

"Sir! You can't walk out without paying." A guy says behind. I take this chance to keep walking to the hotel.

A tear escapes my eye.
