Mystic Falls. A small town where Lyanna could never imagine gaining the value of friendship and love for the first time in five hundred years. She never imagined falling in with a woman named Bonnie Bennett.
In her lifetime she found love and threw that away for Stefan. Lyanna didn't regret it though because she'll do whatever it takes to save her best friend.
She thought of Damon the thought of her going back to Bonnie lingered in her mind for the past few hours. The thought of seeing her lovely smile again.
They arrived at there destination and got out of the car. Lyanna admired the city greatly. Chicago happened to be almost like a dream she couldn't forget. Yet there were some memories she wanted to forget. "Welcome to Chicago Lyanna, Stefan."
Lyanna tapped her foot impatiently. "What are we doing here Klaus?" he was up to something and she didn't like it one bit.
"I know how much you loved it here," Klaus said, ignoring his sister's sour mood. Lyanna assumed he was talking about her but he was addressing it towards Stefan. "Bringing back memories of the good old ripper days."
Lyanna thought Chicago was one her favorite places she's come across even if it was a short time.
Katherine happened to be in the same area as well for some reason being she wanted to check up on a specific someone. And by that, she meant her supposed plaything. She happened to think her friend changes over the course of years. Lyanna couldn't blame her.
Klaus did slaughter the Petrova family.
When Kat asked her to basically spy on Klaus and his new 'friend', Lyanna eventually agreed after the Petrova vampire convinced her it was only going to be for a short time.
Of course, Lyanna disguised herself so she wouldn't be noticed at the bar and stayed hidden in the shadows. She couldn't hide from a young powerful Witch at the time named Gloria and the two became friends in such a short time.
Lyanna and Gloria exchanged hello's until Klaus finally got into the business at hand with his hybrids. Apparently, they needed contact with the Original Witch herself hence her mother. Which meant they had to wake Rebekah up.
Klaus turned to face his baby sister's emotionless self-sitting at the bar stool beside a bottle of tequila and elbow resting on the dark counter with a glass of the delicious drink.
The Hybrid opened his mouth about to say something when the Heretic cut him off with a glare. " No I don't want to see that lowly wretch after centuries." she spat venomously at the thought of the backstabber that sold herself to the devil in disguise.
Klaus clenched his fists in annoyance. Rebekah wasn't the same for many years after she left. Every time they would be on the run and find residency somewhere, the blonde always takes it to heart to decorate Lyanna's room. She would imagine her style now in the centuries depending on her sister's taste. Rebekah went as far as to buy a whole wardrobe, eyes sparkling every time she found the perfect dress. Just like Elijah, the blonde still clung onto hope that their youngest family member would come back to them.
Always and Forever.
Rebekah and Lyanna happened to have that sisterly bond that was unbreakable. The two relied on one another. Well, that whole bond just got thrown at a window.
Eventually the Hybrid gave up and motioned Stefan to follow him to find out more about how the two old friends known each other in the 1920s.

1920! Flashback.
The Petrova and the Mikealson were sitting on the fancy chairs just on the balcony view of the Chicago nights late at night. The Heretic just arrived during the afternoon after Katherine compelled a driver.
Lyanna wore a fine vintage Burgandy dress with pearl necklaces and her daylight ring and her prized necklace once belonged to her late mother Esther Mikealson.
"So you're basically saying that you want me to spy on one of your toys Kat? Must I remind you we just found out that Klaus is here." Lyanna scoffed in skepticism by her friend.
Katherine sighed but rolled her eyes. She popped the cork of a bottle of champagne before glancing at her best friend's raging eyes. "I know but trust me when I say this but there's another reason behind it," she answered, thinking about the younger Salvatore. She finally managed to find him after some time.
"It's Mikael, isn't it? He's finally catching up to Klaus all these centuries and still now is he?" Lyanna voice wavered at the thought of her father. She hasn't seen him properly after some centuries.
He still managed to shake fear into the Original Heretic at times. Katherine's eyes softened a bit before nodding in confirmation. "Look, It will only be for a little while. I promise."
"It's almost like you care for that emotionless vampire." Lyanna mused, reading Kat like an open book. Katherine swatted her head playfully.
The Brunette laughed at her embarrassed friend and grinned. "It's about time I meet this Salvatore boy you've mysterious love and toyed with. I may not approve of you're ways but I've never seen you so interested in someone in a long time."
Lyanna nodded slowly. "Okay, I'll go along with this plan but If either of us gets caught then we're leaving. Even if it means we have to leave that mysterious Salvatore boy behind."

The Heretic reopened her eyes, recalling the memory between her longtime friend. Gloria came up to her and gave her five shots of scotch. The Brunette raised a brow in question but said nothing and downed a shot.
"So you're Klaus' long lost sister that ran off centuries ago. How did you end up with these goons." mentioning the two beings that left to go wake up Rebekah
Lyanna downed another shot and looked up at the old yet powerful Witch. "Let's just I didn't have a choice." she cleared her throat. "But did at the same time I kind of did have a decision."
Gloria hummed at her response and refilled her two empty shot glasses. "I made a promise to someone special to me and broke it by choosing to help my best friend."
"Who knows if she'll forgive me." Lyanna pouted as her eyes started to water. She was a bit tipsy after drinking 2 to 4 shots already. "What if she doesn't want me anymore."
Gloria's eyes sadden at her old friend's mood and decided to give her some space. "So this is about a certain Bennett Witch?" Lyanna shot a confused look. "While you were bored and taking a small ten-minute nap, Your idiot of a brother was blabbering on about how you foolishly fell in love. Don't listen to that heartless fool. One of my closest friends has finally found someone. Now tell me Tia darling, what is she like?"
Lyanna smiled at the thought of the mocha skinned Witch with Black wavy hair and the most beautiful eyes she's ever laid upon. "She's the sweetest and compassionate human being I've ever met."
"I'll be honest Ann, darling. I've never thought I'd see the day you'd find someone to love." Gloria smiled a bit and went to deal with other customers.
