in a state of nervous excitement or anxiety.

Mind buzzing with several thoughts that seem to grip her with severe anxiety, she shook them off. What could that girl possibly have done to the boys that made them act that way around her? She resembled Acid quite a bit, maybe they were related?
However, that wasn't Pacifica's concern right now. It was that she had been kicked out of the gym when Dipper entered and the boys followed him, closing the doors behind them. Blowing air out of her mouth, Pacifica sighed and dug into her pants to get her phone.
"Hey Gid, how'd the interview for the student council go?"
"I think it went fine," said Gideon in a small voice. Pacifica immediately softened at his voice.
"Hey, I'm sure you did fine, don't worry, okay? I'm sure you'll get it, love," she cooed.
"If you say so, Paz," muttered Gideon. Pacifica's mind buzzed with anxiety. She had wanted to tell Gideon about the Journal because it was getting hard to keep it to herself, and she trusted Gideon the most. So what time better than now to tell him about it?
"Gideon, I need you to come to my dorm, like, within the next ten minutes, okay?"
"Uh, okay?"

"So, Pacifica, what you're telling me is that the night we went to the woods and you said you found nothing but... you did and you're going to show me now?" asked Gideon in an incredulous tone, looking up to Pacifica nervously chewing her bottom lip.
Nodding her head, she turned around and dug through her bag to find the worn out Journal, sitting down and gesturing Gideon to sit down with her as well. Flipping through the pages, Pacifica began to ramble.
"The thing is, this book is so confusing because it starts talking about creatures that roam the woods, or are in the school. Some of these things really give me the creeps, Gid, like what the heck do Gnomes have to do with anything? Because they sure as hell don't mean garden Gnomes in this book, if we're looking at the sketches."
A dark look casted over Gideon's pale, ghost-like face. He looked up, sombre eyes and a mouth set in a grim line.
"Pacifica, do you know why my family couldn't come over to yours during last summer?"
She was confused. Why was he bringing that up now? It was irrelevant.
"Uh, why?"
"The Gleeful twins tried to kill me."
"You seriously can't expect me to believe that, Gids," scoffed Pacifica, "I know they're the spawn of the Devil, but surely not," her voice faltered when she saw Gideon's face remain stoic. "Jesus, Gideon, why didn't you tell anyone?"
Thoughts swirling in her head, the little amount of respect she had managed to muster up for Dipper vanished immediately. How dare they lay a hand on her dear cousin? And how had no one known about this? How did Gideon act so normal in front of his could-have-been murderers?
"I'm so so sorry," said Pacifica softly, her voice breaking. She felt heartache. Gideon shook his head, putting a hand on her shoulder. "How did you, like, avoid getting murdered? What even happened?"
"I'll explain all of that later, not now. I told Bud about it when it had happened, don't worry, and why are you apologizing? You had nothing to do with it and you hadn't known," reassured Gideon.
"But, what does this have to do with the Journal, Gideon?"
"The Journal is what they're looking for, and they assumed I had had it. I didn't, which is why they've left me alone. But the thing is, Bud had a twin brother who used to talk about Gravity Falls and its mysteries. That's where I assumed it had to do something with what the Gleeful twins wanted.
And here you out of all people found it, Paz. I really think you've been chosen by destiny."
"Chosen for what exactly?" asked Pacifica, hesitantly.
"Figuring out the mysteries," answered Gideon with a gleam in his obsidian eyes. "Anyways, never mind about the Journal, we can discuss that later, I wanted you to meet this girl I met earlier today while you were decorating.
She's just the sweetest, I'm sure I'm in love. Or, I will be."
"Okay then," said Pacifica, cautiously. How could he have possibly met a girl and fallen in love with her? All within a day?

Gideon had led Pacifica outside to the field, where a dark hooded person was standing, hands shoved into their pockets. Gideon pat the person on the shoulder, and they turned around. Pacifica, to say the least, was surprised that the girl seemed... grey.
Either that, or just bad skincare, but who was Pacifica to judge?
"Hey babe, this is my cousin Pacifica that I was talking about," gushed Gideon, his pale cheeks filling with a dusty pink. Pacifica was bewildered, as they were already on the nickname phase? Damn, relationships progress fast.
With dark circles underneath her eyes, and jet black hair that covered one of her eye, the zombie-like girl shook Pacifica's hand with a stern grip.
"My name is Normandy," her voice was deep and rugged, yet still managed to keep a feminine tone to it. Pacifica nodded, gulping. She wasn't sure whether she was nervous or perplexed.
"Nor-Nor wanted to show both of us something in the woods, she says it's a special place, she says you can come too, Paz!" said Gideon excitedly, eyes holding nothing but adoration for his new beau.
"I wouldn't want to impose," said Pacifica, shaking her head.
"You wouldn't be," said Normandy, "It's fine."
"If you say so."

"Hey, Gids, I know this is your new girlfriend and all but this is getting super sketchy. It's getting late and it's the woods, you know, where we're not supposed to go? And like, we've been walking for a good hour now," hissed Pacifica, elbowing Gideon softly. They were both walking behind Normandy who trudged on ahead.
The trees seemed to glare at the kids as Pacifica stared at them. It was already a little bit after SUNSET, and the wind seemed chilly, and the atmosphere hostile. Pacifica was nervous. Her anxiety only spiked when she heard a familiar voice.
"You never said they were alive!"
What the hell? Pacifica's mind was swirling. Was she the only one who heard them? Gideon seemed to be in his own world, and Normandy kept walking... in the same direction where the talking was coming from. The voices got louder.
"Oh my bad, Greg, I should've mentioned that. Oh wait, I did when I said they bloody talk!"
"What the fuck?"
"Can you guys get this midget the hell off of me?"
Wait, what midget?
"Uh uh uh," a brash voice said. "I'd think twice, buddy boy."
"Well, we're in deep crap."
Phil was on the ground, sprawled out with a stocky little man with a scruffy beard standing on his back, holding him down. He seemed to be struggling. Acid was glaring at the midget with ferocity. Dipper and Greg had their backs to Phil and Acid, both of them in defensive stances, except Pacifica knew why. Dozens of eyes glowed in the trees, staring right at them.
Heartbeat racing, Pacifica's eyes flashed to Normandy, except there was only a heap of clothes. Frantically looking, Pacifica was worried.
"Looking for him?" snarled the familiar voice of Normandy, except she was much tinier and... somehow worse looking. She had tied ropes around Gideon with the help of several other tiny... people? They looked like tiny garden gnomes.
Dipper immediately turned around, his face remained like granite, no expression shown except when he saw Pacifica.
"Blondie, what the hell are you doing here?" he hissed, stalking over to her and glaring.
How did he make her feel like this was all her fault?
"What do you mean? My cousins girl friend - or well, whatever remains of her - told us to come here?"
"And you just listen to her? Jesus, I didn't know you were that stupid. You can't trust anyone, blue eyes, get that through your thick head," he muttered hotly, grabbing her hand. Somehow, after somewhat scolding her for no reason, his hand still made her get butterflies.
Pacifica's cheeks filled with color, but she stomped down those hormones. He tried killing her beloved cousin last summer. That could never be forgiven. However, that was a matter she'd have to bring up later. Now was not the time.
"Now what do we do? How are we supposed to help Phil and Gideon with little people holding them hostage? Kill them?" scoffed Pacifica.
"Exactly that, sweetheart."
