Athena was sitting on the roof of the studio with her knees to her chest, just watching the stars, when she heard a poof sound from beside her.

The girl glanced to her left, causing her to lock eyes with Reggie, making her send him a small smile before she glanced back up at the sky.

"Hey, Reg."

"Hey, what are you doing up here?" Reggie asked, carefully taking a seat beside the girl. "I thought you would've left with Julie."

"Yeah, I was on my way; I just thought I'd do some stargazing for a bit." Athena spoke, glancing over at the boy. "Why are you still here? Don't you guys go on soon?"

"I was, uh, looking for you." Reggie replied, causing the girl's eyes to go soft. "You just seemed upset earlier, and I wanted to make sure you were okay."

"Aw, that's really sweet of you." Athena smiled. "Yeah, I'm okay. It's just that watching Luke with his parents earlier made me think about my mom and all the things we used to do. I just really miss her."

"I know what you mean." Reggie muttered, causing Athena to send the boy a small smile. "Can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, of course."

"What made you come back?" Reggie asked. "You know here specifically after you died."

"It's the only place I've ever known." Athena shrugged. "I know it sounds cliche, but besides my mom, Julie and her family were the only real things I've had. I wasn't ready to let go."

"How do you feel about it now?"

"I... I'm not sure anymore." Athena admitted. "Don't get me wrong, I love it here, and I love being with you guys, but there's a part of me that can't help but think about what's on the other side... if my mom is on the other side."

Reggie wrapped a suoortive arm around the girl's shoulder, causing her to place her head on his shoulder as she let out a deep sigh.

"Why do feelings have to be so complicated?" Athena breathed out.

"Not all."

Athena slowly lifted her head as she glanced over at the boy, who was already staring at her.

"Do you have a second?" Reggie cleared his throat.

"I have all the time in the world, Reg." Athena chuckled, making the boy smile.

"Right." Reggie muttered before making an acoustic guitar appear in his arms. "I uh, wrote a song and I want to play for you."

"Okay." Athena nodded, causing the boy to begin strumming his guitar.

Her eyes flicked back and forth between his before she cupped his face, pulling it closer as she placed her lips on his.

Reggie froze in shock for a second before he leaned in, deepening the kiss as his eyes fluttered shut.

The sound of a poof came from behind them, but neither one of them dared to pull away.

"Oh. This looks private." Alex muttered, quickly disappearing.

Athena felt so many emotions when she was with the Peters boy—things she never thought she would feel again since dying.

The Micheals girl felt alive again.

Athena slowly pulled away, opening her eyes as she watched the boy stay with his eyes closed for a few seconds with his lips still puckered, causing her to giggle.

The sound of her laugh made his eyes snap open as a smile grew on his face.

"That was... wow."

Athena could feel the heat rushing to her cheeks as she glanced down at her hands and smiled from ear to ear.

"I feel like I should be somewhere right now." Reggie spoke, causing both of their eyes to go wide as they looked at each other.

"Julie!"

The duo had poofed outside of the building before quickly rushing inside to find the others.

"There you guys are. What took you so long?" Julie asked, causing the pair to share a look.

"Uh... sorry, I lost track of time. You know how much I love stargazing." Athena spoke, letting out a nervous chuckle. "We're not late, are we?"

"No, you're actually too early." Flynn said, motioning to the stage where Athena could see Carrie and the rest of Dirty Candy getting into their places.

"Great."

Athena felt something touch her hand, causing her to quickly look down, noticing Reggie's hand holding her's, making her smile before she interlocked their fingers as she turned her attention back to the stage.

Athena let out an excited gasp as she watched the blonde-haired boy appear on the stage behind Carrie, causing her to quietly jump excitedly.

Julie turned around to glance at the three who could see the boy, who only shrugged in response.

Athena smiled as she watched Alex begin dancing along with Dirty Candy, looking very comfortable on the stage.

Alex poofed back off stage as he appeared back where he once stood, causing them to turn to the boy.

"You havin' fun out there?' Julie asked, amused.

"It's not my fault. It's my, um..." Alex trailed off. "It's my feet."

"Yeah."

"It looks like you were having so much fun." Athena grinned. "Why'd you stop?"

"You're right. Put me back in, Coach."

Athena and Julie let out a chuckle when the bou disappeared once again, causing Flynn to glance over at them.

"Oh, it's the guys." Julie explained.

Alex did a pose on the side of the stage as the stage ended, causing Athena to cheer loudly for the boy.

"Yeah, Alex!" Athena exclaimed, bouncing up and down.

"Making me blush." Alex said, waving at the girl, causing her to grin.

The boy once again poofed off the stage, landing in his spot beside the group, causing them to give him an amused look.

"Hey, um.. I was just... I was just doing that for you guys."

"Mm-hmm." Reggie hummed, nodding his head. "Yeah. You can stop smiling now."

Once Julie turned her head back toward the stage, Athena turned her attention to the blonde.

"That was literally the best thing I've ever seen." Athena said, causing the smile to grow on the Mercer boy's face. "You were a-mazing."

"Thanks, Thena."

Athena held her fist up, causing the boy to chuckle before he bumped hers with his before they turned their attention to the Molina girl.

"I'm not going to lie. That was... kind of good." Julie admitted.

"Yeah, I forget why I hate her so much." Flynn nodded in agreement.

"Hi, girls." Carrie greeted. "Um, isn't it past your bedtime?"

"Now I remember."

"If you're looking for Nick, he didn't come."

"That's not why I'm here." Julie scoffed, taking a step toward the Wilson girl.

"Okay, it looks like we're closing the night with one more group." The man announced from the stage. "Julie and the fat ones."

Athena furrowed her eyebrows as she looked over at the boys, confused.

"Really?" Alex asked as the group turned their attention to Luke.
"Yeah, man. My handwriting sucks." Luke admitted.

Julie quickly turned to face Carrie as she sent her a fake smile before she made her way past her toward the stage, causing the Wilson girl to storm off.

"Hi." Julie greeted the crowd as she took a seat at the piano, putting her mic on the stand and letting out a nervous chuckle. "It's actually Julie and the Phantoms."

"Good luck, boys." Athena smiled, glancing around at the trio before she made her way over to Flynn, who had just turned on the projector, causing Julie to begin playing.

The Micheals girl jumped up and down in excitement as she cheered loudly for the group along with the crowd with a giant grin plastered on her face.

Her eyes locked with the bassist, causing him to send a wink her way, making her cheeks heat up as she glanced down.

"Hey, over here." Flynn said, gaining Athena's attention as the girl nodded toward a less crowded area.

"Okay."

Athena quickly followed the girl out of the crowd toward the empty bar as they waited for the Molina girl to exit the stage.

"We're Julie and the Phantoms. Tell your friends."

Julie quickly raced toward the duo with a big grin on her face as she pulled them into a group hug.

"You were incredible!" Flynn exclaimed, causing Athena to nod excitedly.

"Yeah, that was amazing!" Athena gushed.

"Yeah, we were." Reggie stated as the guys appeared behind her and Flynn, causing Julie and Athena to chuckle.

"Hey! Whoever Carrie was trying to impress is coming this way." Luke said, pointing behind the Molina girl, causing all of their heads to turn, making Flynn look at the duo confused.

"Oh, it's..." Julie started but trailed off as she turned and locked her eyes on the woman approaching them.

"She looks all business." Alex commented.

"I think I've seen her face somewhere before." Athena stated.

"Wait. Who should do the talking?" Reggie asked, causing them to turn and give the boy a serious look. "Right. Julie. Julie."

"Yeah."

Julie nervously glanced back at Luke, who gave her a supportive nod and said, "You got this."

"Hi, I'm Andi Parker, and I would--." The woman started but was quickly cut off.

"Juile."

The group all glanced behind the woman to find Ray Molina standing there with an upset look on his face.

"Oh, this is not good." Athena muttered, causing Reggie to grip her hand.

"Dad." Julie breathed out.

"It's time to go."
