Julie stood nervously on stage with a forced smile while the entire student body stood there staring at her from the floor.

"Hey, where'd the rest of the band go?" Jared from the AV team asked, making his way from the side stage at the light panel.

"Wait. Were those holograms?" Kayla; Carrie's best friend asked, sounding beyond impressed, causing Julie and Athena's eyes to go wide.

"Yes! Yes, they were holograms." Julie quickly agreed, letting out a light nervous chuckle. "Um, I plugged it into the ceiling projector before the show. I'd explain it, but it involves algorithms and science stuff."

That caused the students to applaud and cheer as Athena smiled at the Molina girl with a nod, sending her two thumbs up.

"That's wild." Luke spoke from beside the Michaels girl as the trio poofed around the girl after the performance. "T-They could see us when we were playing, but not when the music ended."

"We should double check." Reggie said, quickly stepping onto the nearby stairs as he shook his butt in front of the group of students but got no reaction but a giggle from Athena.

"Yeah, I don't..." Reggie said, quickly racing back down the stairs, causing Athena to send him a smile. "I don't think they can see us."

"I can still see you." Athena said, looking around at all three boys with a smile.

"I wish I couldn't see you." Alex muttered from the other side of Luke, causing the three others to turn their heads in his direction.

"Ok, people, show's over." Principal Lessa announced, clapping her hands as she motioned the teens out of the gym. "Let's get back to class, please."

Athena watched as everyone began leaving the gyms along with boys as she stood to the side, watching Julie cautiously as she spoke to Ms. Harrison.

She knew it had to be good news when the smile covered Julie's face and she was pulled into a hug.

Athena felt a bump on her arm, causing her to turn to see a frowning Flynn, causing her to look at the girl confused.

Once the teacher walked away the duo approached the girl, one with a giant grin and the other with a fake smile.

"Wow. You did it." Flynn said, sounding unenthusiastic.

"Thanks to you." Julie said, sending Flynn a smile before sending one to Athena. "You too, Athena."

"I'm so happy for you, Jules." Athena said, happily, smiling at the girl as her smile fell a bit as she noticed Flynn's upset demeanor. " Hey, you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm great." Flynn said before turning to the Molina girl as she pointed to the stage behind her. "It's just... When did you start playing with a hologram band?"
That caused Julie and Athena to share a quick look before looking back at Flynn with a smile.

"Oh, it was just one song. We're not a band." Julie explained, fumbling over her words. "They're a band, a hologram band."

"Definitely holograms." Athena added, sending the girl a big smile as she rocked on her feet.

"Yeah, I saw." Flynn said, letting out a light chuckle. "Why have you been keeping those cute boys a secret?"

"There's a reason for that." Julie said, looking over at Athena, causing her to shrug her shoulders. "It's just... really crazy."

"Oh, I'm all about crazy. Let's hear it." Flynn said, smiling at the girl.

"Ok. Um, so they're..." Julie said, trying to think of an excuse. "From Sweden. Yeah. Turns out that they're not only great at making meatballs but also great at making music. Yeah, so they play there, I stream them here, we play together, they leave, then that's it. Anyway, who's excited that I'm back in the music program?"

"Jules, are you lying to me?" Flynn questioned, causing the smile on the Molina girl's face to slowly disappear. "And Thena did you know?"

"Yeah." The duo spoke together.

"Yeah, I'm lying." Julie admitted nodding her head.

"And I knew about the band." Athena admitted, looking down as she placed her hand on her arm.

"Since when do we lie to each other?" Flynn questioned, looking between the duo.

"Flynn..." Julie said, looking over at Athena as she didn't once look up from the ground. "We're sorry."

"We're sorry?" Flynn questioned, letting out a scoff. "That's all you've got?"

Flynn waved the duo off before she turned, running out of the gym.

"Flynn, wait!" Athena called after the girl.

"Wait, Flynn, wait. No!" Julie said but the girl ignored the duo. "Come on, Thena."

The two girls quickly ran after their friend but were quickly blocked by a boy with a cello and then people high fiving Julie.

"Julie! Julie! Those holograms were so cool." A random boy in their grade said. "It's like we were in Coachella, but, like, not in the desert and without the sweat."
"Thanks." Julie quickly said, before quickly awkwardly high fiving one of the girl's dressed as bob cats before they walked away.

"It's true." Nick said, appearing in front of the duo, causing both of their eyes to go wide. "That was incredible."

"I'm gonna go look for Flynn." Athena said, quickly looking over at Julie and leaving, not giving the girl a chance to answer.

Once she was behind the blonde boy she turned toward the Molina girl, dropping her jaw as she jumped up and down excitedly before turning around, accidentally bumping into Carrie.

"Sorry." Athena quickly muttered, sending the girl a small closed lip smile before she quickly put her head down as she moved around the girl.

Quickly making her way down the hallway but to her luck Flynn was nowhere in sight.

"Thank you so much for leaving me back there." Julie sarcastically said, from behind the girl as she jogged to catch up with the Michaels girl. "I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome." Athena said, sending the girl a smile.

"Julie! Athena!"

"Ah! You! Stop doing that!" Julie said through her gritted teeth as the duo walked right into the trio of ghosts. "I'm serious."
"Who! This one's all on you guys. We were already here." Reggie said, holding his hands up in defense. "Well, actually, we were over there, and then we came over here."
"Are we not gonna talk about what happened?" Luke questioned, quickly changing the subject as the giant grin never left his face.

"Are you talking about the part where the whole school saw you? Because it's kinda freaking me out and I wasn't even on stage with you guys." Athena questioned, speaking quickly as the group looked at her surprised.

"Ok, good, cause it's kinda freaking me out too." Alex spoke almost just as fast as the Michaels girl. "You know, you two could see us, an-and then people could see us whenever we played music. And my clothes are made of air, but for some reason, I'm still getting a wedgie."

The group went quiet as they all stared blankly at the blonde boy, while Athena just nodded her head while listening.

"So many questions." Alex spoke quietly after inhaling sharply.

"The important thing is that we rocked that place. They were loving you!" Luke exclaimed, looking over at Julie, causing Athena to smile at the girl.

"Are you kidding? They loved us." Julie corrected the boy, causing Athena to nod in agreement. "That was a great song, Luke. Thanks."
"And did you guys see the cheerleaders looking at me? I think they were looking at me. Please tell me they were looking at me." Reggie said, grabbing onto Luke's shoulders, causing Julie and Athena to let out a light chuckle.

"Bro, they were looking at you." Luke happily said, grabbing the boy's face.

"Oh, I knew it!"

"I'm so... I'm so confused, you know?" Alex said, causing everyone to turn their attention back to the blonde boy. "The afterlife should come with instructions or a quick start guide or something."

"Info on the undead." Athena said, causing the blonde to quickly nod as he pointed at the girl. "Dying is really traumatic... So I assume."

"Well, the good thing is that everyone thought you guys were holograms, and I got back into the program." Julie said, sadly looking down.

"Why do you look so bummed?" Reggie questioned.

"Yeah, dude, you're making this face." Luke said before the three quickly made the same sad face Julie was making, causing Thena to chuckle.

"Hmph. That... is not my face." Julie said, quickly disagreeing. "And things just got weird between us and Flynn. She asked about you guys, and I couldn't say."

"Sweet. Girls are already talking about us." Reggie said, high fiving Luke on the low.

"Stop. I'm serious." Julie said. "I can't tell her about you guys for the same reason I can't tell my dad. She'll think I've gone off the deep end."

"This dude definitely thinks you've gone off the deep end." Reggie said, pointing at the janitor as the group split allowing the man to come through as Julie and Athena sent him an awkward smile.

"Uh.. we should get going." Athena said, looking over at Julie before looking at the boys with a smile.

"We gotta get back to class." Julie said, looking between the trio before grabbing Athena's hand, pulling her pass the trio.

"Later, Thena. Later, Julie. Oh, tell those cheerleaders I'm single." Reggie called after the girls.

"Oh, and that he's dead." Alex added.

Athena and Jule shared a look before a grin appeared on both of their faces as they made their ways to classes.
