(Sonic's POV)

I was teasing my little angel how to crawl to mommy or me; she's so cute at how desperate she's trying to crawl to me. She keeps trying until she got the hang of it like a big girl.

"Come here Iris, come to papa Sonic." I called for her.

Iris crawled up to me and claps her small hands. "Dada!"

"You cute little angel." I picked her up in my arms. "You love dada?"

"Ga wa ga." She gurgled happily.

"You are gonna be so gorgeous like mommy." I said as she held my finger.

"Mmmmmm." Iris sucked on my fingertip.

"So cute." Amy sighs happily.

"I hope she's not forgetting you because I think she found her favorite parent, well, step parent or so to say." I said.

"She loves me just as much." Amy said.

"You love mama, Iris?" I asked her and she nodded; so I handed her over to her mother.

"Yes you do little Iris." Amy teased her.

"I feel jealous." I teased.

"Heh, Iris doesn't want you to feel jealous that she loves her mommy but she loves you as her new daddy." Amy giggled.

"Heh, I feel better." I chuckled.

"You know, there's a dance party at the club but babies aren't allowed there. Perhaps my lady friends can babysit her and we can go to the club. What do you say? You've been very lonely to not see the world inside places." Amy suggested.

"Sure. But which of your lady friends?" I asked.

"Tangle, she has a good hand with kids." Amy said.

"Okay, let's go and see her, where ever she lives at." I said.

"She in the first floor of the apartment and her roommate is Whisper the Wolf" Amy said.

We headed downstairs floor and knocked on the door. After a few seconds a female lemur appeared.

"Oh, hi Amy. It's been a while since I saw you." She said.

"I'd say the same, since this guy came to support me and my baby." Amy said.

"Well it's no problem. I'm Sonic." I introduced myself without exposing my fangs. I even changed my cloak to a regular black hoodie jacket to blend in.

"Nice, I'm Tangle the Lemur." She held her tail out for a shake. man, it's like a third hand she has.

"Um, Sonic the Hedgehog." I said my false surname and shook her tail.

"And this is my roommate Whisper." Tangle introduced the yellow-cream colored wolf.

"Greetings." Whisper saw us.

"I was wondering if you two can babysit my daughter for me." Amy said.

"Sure thing. Come here Iris." Tangle picked Iris in her arms.

"Dada?" Iris looked at me.

"Don't worry, Iris. Dada will take care of mommy. Now you be a good girl, okay?" I stroked her cheek.

"Huh, so you're her new dad?" Whisper asked.

"Almost. Anyway, see ya two later." I said.

"We're going for the club tonight." Amy said waving.

"Good luck there." Tangle waved.

Half an hour later Amy and I arrived at a dance club called Night Zone. Inside was very loud music making the sounds vibrate in my body; the disco ball shimmering like diamonds and the lights flashing around. Reminds me of exploring crystal caves when I was a kid and I sorta enjoyed it but this modern style is very interesting.

"Wow, awesome." I looked around.

I noticed the couple dancing together while the male holds her waist and the female has her arms around his neck. The waltz dance sorta changed it traditions over the years, I guess.

"Shall we Sonic?" Amy offered her hand.

"Um, I never danced with a lady. What do I do?" I asked shyly.

"Follow my lead." Amy took both my hands.

She placed my hands around her waist which was very nervous for me to do that and she wrapped her arms around my neck. I hope I don't mess up or embarrass her in front of everyone. I'm so nervous and she can tell what I'm feeling right now.

"Relax and follow the music." Amy said and started to dance with me.

The song sounded like it was expressing me as a stranger dancing with her. Amy looked at me chuckling a bit since it's my first time. But she was right, I am following the music which is making my body dance on its own with her. Man, she's so pretty dancing with me. The song changed and it was a pretty romantic song as Amy rests her head on my shoulder. Oh man, I never felt my heart warm up this much. Is it my normal side feeling a pulse in my body or is it just me?

"Sonic?" Amy asked me to snap me out.

"Huh? What?" I asked from my lost mind.

"How does it feel?" Amy asked.

"Great I guess." I stammered.

She giggled at my look of confusion but I didn't mind that because I was having fun with her, something that I was missing out on for centuries.

"Oh silly. We'll just enjoy and have some fun." Amy said.

"Okay." I nodded.

Then a song that went 'Where Evil grows' starts playing. It made the crowd go boo at whoever is playing the song because it sounded like the song refers to as evil. Something that reminds me of evil vampires. So, the person playing the song changed it to the Japanese song Face My Fears by Utada Hikaru. The music of the piano playing in the background brought me very close with Amy.

"Ahhh... much better." Amy smiled and started to dance with the rhythm with me, so mesmerizing at the sight.

It made me wanna kiss her but I can tell she's not ready to be in love with a hybrid like me. Only she has to choose if she has feelings for me or not. So I just stick to dancing along with her instead. I watched as she spins around her quills waved along. I decided to improvise my own dance style. I simply lifted my arms up like a vampire folding up its wings and then down again by going side by side.

"Whoa, impressive." Amy said.

"Thanks Amy." I bowed to her like a gentleman.

After having fun in the club with her, I wanted to show her the view of the city by having her hold onto me like a piggyback ride and I climbed up the building with vampire agility, kinda like the scene from the Twilight movie. Amy held onto me tight and not letting go at any moment. As we made it to the top of the building, Amy let go of me and looks at the view.

"Wow, I never been at this height before, Sonic." Amy said.

"I come here at night looking at the view of the city and hoping that I get my bat transformation powers but it never came around. So instead, I just jump from building to building." I explained my story.

"Well I'm not used to flying anyway." Amy said.

"Heh, you'll never know but I bet it's amazing how flying animals go from places without walking." I said.

"I know right." Amy giggled.

I chuckled at how cute and bubbly she is for a woman and a single mother. She really is like a blooming blossom with gorgeous jade eyes.

"Well least you're not panicked from heights, Amy." I said.

"Not a bit. You're the best guy I've met since my husband." Amy said.

"Thanks Amy." I stammered at her words.

"Iris must be waiting for us. I bet that she's waiting for you since you're her new daddy." Amy chuckled.

"Right. Let's go shall we?" I suggested.

"Lead the way, Dark Wind." Amy said and I held her in my arms as I jumped from building to building.
