Yeah, I heard the sad news last week that Chadwick Boseman died from colon cancer. I will never forget how great he was as an actor as Black Panther. Nobody will ever replace him like that because no one is like him. WAKANDA FOREVER!

(Sonic's POV)

At Amy's apartment I held Iris in my arms since she wants a little father love, even though I'm not the father but she thinks I'm her Dada. Sometimes I wonder why she chose me as her new daddy. She also looked cute in that black shirt with the moon.

"So what do you wanna do now?" I placed her on the floor.

She just blinked and then I thought of something. I covered my face and said "Where's the baby? There she is!"

"Kyehehehehe!" Iris giggled.

"Heh, Dada loves you too." I smile don't but accidentally revealed my fangs a little.

This made Iris very curious but I pretended to be a wolf with teeth. Bats are probably too scary for babies.

"Bwa?" She reached but I pulled back.

"Um, let's go see mama." I picked her up and we went in the kitchen to see if Amy is making dinner and she was indeed making dinner.

I could tell it smells good and I put Iris on the high chair so she can eat with us; as either Amy and I fed her, she had to wear a bib to not get messy. For Amy and me we had some pasta with meat sauce.

"Wow, you cook food?" I asked.

"Yes, it's my husband's recipe, to add grill spice in the sauce." Amy said.

"I see. Where I'm from, my guardians cook with a fire camp in the cave for me. They knew that I'm a hybrid and my normal side needs real food for me to survive." I said.

"Okay. What did you eat mostly?" Amy asked.

"Squirrels, boars and birds." I said.

"Geez, does it bother you to kill innocent life from creatures?" Amy asked while eating.

"Sometimes, but I visit the Indian tribe in the woods to eat normal food so I don't starve to death. I wanted to steal food in the city but I would get easily discovered." I said while eating.

"Sounds like you are struggling to survive like a person. You never met anyone way before me and Tails were born?" Amy asked.

"Nope, I was very focused on hunting vampires to protect your kind. But at the same time, I was afraid they would be scared of me as a monster than a regular normal hedgehog." I said.

"Well on the bright side you befriended some and people here sees you as the dark protector." Amy said.

"True, but if I'm discovered as a vampire to them, they would be scared and terrified to think vampires really exist. I mean I did save a few people from vampires in dark alleys but I never let them see my full appearance." I said, finishing my dinner. "But Tails was the first person to see me as a dhampir until he realized I was the Dark Wind."

"And his hero." Amy added.

"And his brother too. He always wanted a big brother to look after him and protect him from bullies." I said.

"That's something everyone wants to see from the Dark Wind." Amy said and finished her dinner.

"Maybe but only when the time is right." I said and helped Iris to eat. "Yum, yum, Iris." I teased Iris as I fed her and she giggled cutely at my teasing, what a cute baby.

Soon as we finished feeding her, it was time to bottle feeding her. I filled a bottle with warm milk and brought her to my lap.

"Aww....you make such a lovely father." Amy giggles.

"You think so?" I chuckled as I kept bottle feeding Iris. "Slow and steady Iris." I told her to slow down.

"She's beginning to like you as a father." Amy said.

"New Daddy's girl she is." I laughed a bit.

As soon as she's was done, I held her over my shoulder and patted her back for her to burp which she did.

"Good girl. You like me as a daddy? Yes you do." I stroked her quills and Iris purred like a cute little kitty at the moment.

"For a half vampire I never seen you have a soft side for children." Amy said.

"I never killed children; I got a soft spot for them." I said and handed her daughter over.

I nearly felt my stomach getting hungry for blood, I gotta go because I don't want my hunger to get aggressive again.

"I gotta go. Dada will be back again, little angel." I stroked Iris's cheek.

"See you later Sonic" Amy waved goodbye and I waved back as I jumped out the window.

I got out into the woods and searched for anyone to drain. I'm not in the mood to hunt wild creatures, just vampire blood is what I crave for. Come on, there's gotta be a vampire lurking around in the woods to eliminate me. One of these days I will find out who the leader is that's sent these vampires to kill my parents. I heard some snarling nearby but I could tell it's not from a vampire but from a normal fox. Wait, if a fox is snarling, that could mean they can detect danger and that could mean....a vampire is close by. I ran to wherever the fox is and indeed I was right, the mother fox was looking stressed and scared while protecting her pups from something coming close.

I jumped into the bushes and tackled someone struggling to get my hands off his neck. Perfect, I found my meal to feed from.

"I knew you come!" He choked from my strangling.

"Yeah, perfect timing to feed from you." I bared my fangs but he kicked me off as I was tossed against the tree.

"No way I'll be drained by dhampir creeps like you!" He ran off.

"Coward!" I ran after him and took out my bow and arrows to shoot him. I didn't had time to aim because he was running too fast but I just trust my instincts and shot him.

"AGH!" I heard him scream and I ran to see the arrow hit him through his back and out through his heart. Lucky shot I did without missing; my archery is improving rapidly.

"I'll make this quick. Tell me who gave you and your vampire pals orders to eliminate me?" I glared for an answer.

"I rather die than tell you!" He coughed up blood.

"Be careful what you wish for because this is gonna hurt a lot." I hissed hungrily and bit his neck to feed.

"AAAAARGH!" He screamed in pain but I held him still until he didn't move.

As soon as I was satisfied, I used my knife to dissolve him. "One of these day starts I will find that murderers who killed my parents." I said, licking the blood off my dagger. I put it back in the sheath and headed back to the mansion.

From there I went inside and there I found Silver sitting at the couch meditating, same old Silver wanting to find peace and tranquility every night; I sneaked past him quietly to not disturb him.

But he heard me when he spoke without looking. "Back from your mortal date?"

I groaned in frustration from annoyance and the teasing. "It's not a date, Silver. You don't even know her in person."

"I know a few mortal women that are beautiful and kind." Silver said.

"Not every woman is like that. Do you know how many female vampires I killed? They think they're a lady but to me they're nothing but bitches with no heart. Amelia is more than any other women." I said.

"Oh, right. There's one lavender cat girl I've been....well spying on" Silver said.

"Sounds like you've been a bad boy for spying on her." I chuckled.

"You could say that." Silver said.

"Unlike that vampire lord who has a dark heart to not learn how to love. That lord you told me about that sent his minions to kill my mother because she refused to marry him. But you never told me his name because it's forbidden." I crossed my arms.

"I know you want revenge on the murderer but I told you before, he's very strong and evil. His heart is so dark, no one can love him. That's why Shadow and I left the clan because we got tired of his rules." Silver said.

"Why can't you show me where his clan is? I wanna dig my fangs in his neck for murdering my parents." I hissed angrily.

"Because Shadow and I promised your mother. She lost your father and she doesn't want you to die like her." Silver said.

"I'm not dead yet, Silver. I've been alive for 300 years with anger, hatred, and pain all my life. How long will I end up living with that until I become lost and lose my sanity?" I so wanna attack him but I held myself down.

"Sonic, even if you want to find that murderer, your revenge won't solve anything. You'll end up like those evil vampires and your lady friend would see you as monster." Silver said.

"Good point, Silver." I agreed what he just said.

"Now please, think of your lady friend and her daughter. As I can see, she's replacing hatred with love in your cold heart." Silver said.

"Yes, her daughter thinks I'm her dad and I do resemble Amy's husband a bit." I said.

"Then perhaps her daughter really needs a new dad like you. The same way you needed a mom which you called me mom when you were a child." Silver said.

"Even though you are a dude." I chuckled.

"But for now, we three are more like brothers." Silver smirked.

"Nah, I think I'll call you mom this time instead of brother. As I said before, you are very motherly overprotective of me." I chuckled darkly.

"Yeah, well, you are a big boy now but still ancient like a vampire." Silver rolled his eyes.

"Whatever, mom." I chuckled and went upstairs to my room.
