 "What do you mean that you're not going to mark me?" I looked at him super confused. It wasn't that I was hurt by his rejection. Well yeah I was sort of hurt by the no.

 It really didn't make any sense that he was at first being so loving. Kissing me as if it were going to be the last. Hold me so I won't fall down at all.

 Now that I somehow managed to summon up any courage about this whole mate thing. He is the one that pulls away?

 "Dom. I literally waited for you for more than ten years. Wondering if I was ever going to see you again. Dreaming on how beautiful you would become." He took my hurt finger and kissed it lightly.

 "Even right now every part of me wants to mark you. It's not just now it's been always but right now you aren't ready. You're not ready to be my Luna and you won't be happy." He tried soothing me a bit. But I was still hurt, I felt that this was more of a rejection.

 "This isn't a rejection Dom."

 "Well it sure sounds like a rejection Kole! I mean I literally put myself out there for you which is extremely hard to do. Considering everything that I've been through. My parents' death, my family's disappointment, and me running away. Damn it Kole I have every right to not do this." I snapped at him being pretty damn pissed about all of this.

 Kole went ahead and took one step towards me but that just made me step back.

 "Dom, listen to me. I do want to mark you, I want you to be my mate in every sense of the word. But you're not ready."

 "What makes you think I'm not ready?!" I snapped at him. Just when he was about to say something. Nana intervened right at the wrong moment. Or maybe it was the right moment because I was so close in being so wounded that I might've rejected his ass

 "Maybe this is the right time to tell you both that the princess is here and she's quite irritated." She said cautiously. I just scoffed and shook my head.

 "Well let's see who's even more pissed." I smirked in a cynical way and started walking right back to the mansion

 "Dom I really don't think that's a good idea. You see Diana is a real spoiled brat you can't just go on and butt heads with her." Kole reached over and grabbed onto my arm which only earned a punch right on his jaw. Making him tumble back a bit.

            "Why don't you just shut up and let me deal with her. After all we are family and it is in our right to want to tear each other's heads off. At least that I will allow myself to feel to do. Something I know for a fact that I will come out with a couple of bruises." I snapped at him, just glaring at him with my eyes.

            Kole just grabbed onto his wounded jaw and looked over at me with very cautious eyes. So maybe it was wrong of me to lash out at family. But with all due honesty I'd rather smack that bitch, that wanted to make me feel lower than her, than to get so angry that I actually reject my mate.

            I turned on my heels and walked over to the stupid mansion just to be greeted by a stupid looking blondie princess. Her eyes were already turning light colored honey when she saw me. A pure sign that she was rattled and undignified that I made her wait and not the other way around.

            "Buenas tardes Dominyque, I didn't want to leave you waiting but there was some important matters that needed me immediate attention." The blondie sang.

            "Oh right like a chipped nail?" I tried to tone down the sass just a bit, but it was just coming out naturally.

            She gave me a tight smile hiding a growl that everyone tried to ignore.

            "You're so cute, my brother was completely exaggerating about the man voice you have." She squeaked, my primal instinct was to jump her and probably land a couple of punches. But a hand appeared on mine and my inner beast cooled down a bit.

            "It's nice to see you well Princess Diana." Kole appeared right next to me, and that bitche's face lit up like fireworks.

            "Kole! It's so great to see you!" She exclaimed and in a bit of a heart she wrapped her little arms around him and gave him one huge kiss right on the lips. My hands twitched and my canines elongated out of instinct. This was it, she had carved out her grave and I was going to rip every limb from her and throw them inside the stupid coffin.

            My muscles were contracting and were so ready to pounce on her like a wild animal until I felt someone jab me with a syringe and press down a serum. By the sizzling sensation of the chemicals going through my veins I knew by instinct that it was wolf's bane. My animalistic rage simmered down and my body grew drowsy.

            "Princess Diana, I would like to kindly tell you to not do that again. My mate will not be so pleased next time." Kole wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, making it evident for me that he really didn't like her. That it was just her stupid ass. My balance was stumbled and I felt my footing shake a bit.

            Kole immediately wrapped his strong arms around me and pulled me onto him. To try and be a support. I'm guessing Nana could sense me blood thirsty drive to rip her niece into shreds when she laid a hand on my mate. She was the one that had injected me to try and calm the wolf inside.

            "What? You have a mate?" Diana gasped almost in a disgusted shocked matter until she looked at me. For a fast second there was a sneer in her perfectly composed royal pretty little face.

            "The last time you were here, you didn't mention a mate." Her tone was a bit cold but I knew there was a snake in the grass somewhere in her words.

            "I didn't tell you because it was none of your business." His snap was so polite that a smile was written right across my face. My mate can be pretty awesome sometimes. There was a bit of silence between all of us until Nana broke the silence.

            "Well it's about time for all of us to get ready for the dinner now. Diana go do your business and get your brother. Kole tend to Dominyque she must feel exhausted." She looked at me with apologetic eyes and I just nodded. I knew that she did the whole wolf's bane stunt to not get me in trouble with the royal family.

            "We will see you in an hour." Kole excused us and carried me off to our assigned room. ROOM!?
