Fourteen years ago...

        Father had already given me the speach on how I needed to be more dedicated into the pack meetings. How I needed to be well mannered and have this strong air about myself. It was my duty as the future Alpha. Now that I had turned eighteen everything was going to happen to me soon. I was going to take my father's place and I was going to meet my mate soon.

        Since even before my eighteenth birthday, I haven't felt attracted to any of the females in our pack. Father used to tell me that he felt the connection with my mother when they were in high school. Ever since he met her he knew that she was going to be his. Maybe it's a gift as an alpha, to know almost anything along with being strong.

        Besides my mother was back at home planning my birthday party in which all of the near by packs would be invited. Along with some bloodsuckers that had received special permision to reside so close to our land. 

        I didn't understand the desicions my father has made for this pack, if it were up to me I would've killed that entire family of vampires without even thinking it. But again it wasn't my call to do, my thoughts and rants would remain within myself.

        I walked along the woods, just trying to escape everything that was residing in my mind. I needed to stop worrying about my mate, my pack, and my future. I stopped right in front of an old tree house that Don and me built once.

        It was one of the only memories that I had that didn't make me think on my duties or the image I was creating for myself. My hand ran over the bark of the tree it was old now but it stood tall and strong. I want to be like this tree one day, standing tall and to be remembered.

        The wind began to pick up, and along it's breeze carried this special scent. A scent that both soothed me and my wolf. The scent of chocolate mixed with ripe strawberries. The must alluring scent that I could possibly think of. That's when it dawn on me, that and my wolf howling out Mate.

        "Siw, I must kindly ask you to step away from Mistew Twee." That cute little voice just brighten my entire world, but my human side was definitely shocked. I turned around with my hands up in the air as I saw a little four year old with a rock in her hand. That fire in her cute bicolor eyes was enough to bring a light chuckle.

        "Step back! Oar else I'll huwt you." Her cute cheeks puffed up and the wind once again blew her long curled burgundy hair giving me another doze of her scent.

        "Hey, I come in peace. This used to be my tree house." I said trying to be calm about this interesting scene. I was mated to a little girl? My wolf side was just happy to had finally met his mate, but my human side was worried about the future. What would everyone think of me and her? I wouldn't care but I know that she would.

        "Nah aww. I didn't see youw name on it." She huffed and crossed her little arms. I had just noticed what she was wearing. It was a very light white dress, it would be better worn in the summer than in the middle of winter! All of a sudden I was extremely worried for her.

        "Where's your jacket?" There was a bit of panic in my voice.

        She cocked her head at me and arched her eyebrow at me, "I don't weaw one."

        That didn't soothe my concern at all, what was her parents thinking?! What if she get bronchitis or a deadly flu. I almost went to her side at my wolf speed when I noticed something that I should've probably noticed earlier! Tiny little fangs had peaked over her bottom lip. She was a vampire! That caught my attention more than her eyes.

        "That's good I guess." I said to her, trying not to make her feel uncomfortable.

        "Wait so is Bunny youws?" Her eyes grew alarmed as she stepped closer to me. 

        "Umm it kind of was, but I sort of grew out of my bunny." I said scratching the back of neck, feeling weird that I'm having a stuffed animal conversation with my mate. I guess it's a lot better than lusting for her. Which I thanked the goddess to not make my wolf feel THAT way for her yet.

        She gave me a beautiful pout telling me with her pretty bi-color eyes that she didn't want to give back my bunny.

        "You want to keep my bunny? I mean I think she likes you more." I smiled at her and my mate literally jumped up and down and went to hug me. I closed my eyes loving the scent of her comforting aroma. I hugged her close to me, like a brother would. This made my wolf very happy.

        "I have some pizza up at twee house. You like pizza?" Her little cute eyes looked up at me and smiled.        

        "I think pizza is delicious, actually." I chuckled and she literally just took my hand and guided me back to my own tree house.

        "What's you name?" I asked before I completely forgot to ask her.

        "Domonyque Pwiece." Then it dawned on me, she's related to the vampires that have asked permision to be allies with us!
