Dan seems happy, overwhelmed with joy to see his grandparents. It's like he was never depressed or scared.

They talked about stories and their lives for the past 12 years. That's how long it's been.

"Philip you are a lovely young man, how did you meet Daniel?" Lynda asks, letting dan and Harold talk by themselves

"We met online, it was actually a mistake"

"It must have been a good mistake then, from what I see, you are very happy together" she smiles.

"Yes we are, very. Has it really been 12 years?" Phil asks, Lynda nods.

"Yes, our daughter hasn't talked to us since her husband brainwashed her. He married her without our blessing. He was very rude to us as well" she explains

"I'm so sorry.." phil apologies, Lynda puts her hand on Phil's knee

"This is why I give you my blessing. Do better" she whispers, Phil smiles.

"I promise"

The food arrives and they eat quickly. Dan is still so entertained by Harold, laughing at his jokes and stories.

"So Phillip, When did you and Daniel realised you loved each other" both of them start blushing red.

"When I first met him. Over text and in person.." phil says, looking over at dan.

"same here, I jumped off a train for him" dan smiles. Harold laughs

"My boy, you need to stop living my story's"

"Have you jumped off a train?" Phil asks

"Yes I have indeed, it was because I left my suitcase on the platform though" they all laugh.

"Please call gramps and gran!"

"Oh of course Daniel. Thank you for having us for dinner, it was so lovely for you to invite us, Phil" Lynda smiles. They hug them both and wave goodbye. When the door closes, dan runs to the window and waves goodbye like a 6 year old.

"I can't believe you found them! I fucking love you so much Phil Lester you don't even believe" dan jumps into phils arms and starts heavily kissing him. Phil is caught off guard and starts laughing

"I'm happy you're happy-" phil laughs,

"Shut up and let me kiss you"
