Dan woke up in phils arms, He didn't remember going to sleep with him, but he doesn't care. He rolls over to face him, he seems so calm. Dan wraps his arms around him and curls up into his chest. Phil's body is warm and he smells like cinnamon cookie shower wash.
"h-hey" phil yawns, dan looks up and makes eye contact with him,

"hi" dan smiles, moving up and kissing his lips. When he pulls away phil is smiling

"What's the plan for today?" Dan asks,

"Not sure, what do you want to do?" Phil asks, dan pauses to think. He decides a witty 'you' answer isn't good enough for this occasion. He has a feeling that phill too isn't in the mood for anything sexual

"Breakfast first" dan says confidently.

"Pancakes?" Phil asks, dan smiles and nods.

After an hour of ruining, burning and throwing pancake mixture, they had some mediocre stacks of okay pancakes. Obviously they weren't the best but they'll do.

"We burnt half the mix, that's like 8 waisted pancakes" phil laughs as dan takes a bite. Surprisingly not bad, not bad at all.

"We wouldn't have eaten them anyway" dan says, looking over at the full rubbish Can

"I would have! I swear I could win a pancake eating contest!"

"You can't even finish a normal stack of four, I don't think so" dan laughs.

They finish eating and clear up the kitchen,

"I'll be back in a minute, I'll go take the trash out. As well as me because I'm trash" dan jokes pulling the bag out of the can

"You're not trash"

"I'm trash for you"

"Touché" they laugh. Dan takes the bag down the 50,000 flights of stairs, and opens the door to the outside. He hasn't been out in a while so it's nice to breathe the fresh air

He throws the bag in a industrial bin on the side of their townhouse and closes the lid. As he turns around, he sees his mum. She's sitting on a park bench on the other side of the road. Dan does something un-predictable

"You know, you can keep stalking me, but that just means longer jail time for you" dan yells from behind the security gate. Dans mum looks at him and glares.

"You will come home with us one way or another Daniel, don't fight the truth. You don't love phil. You're only staying with him because he Protects You" the words cut deep, but not deep enough

"He protects me more that you ever did! And even if I didn't love him, he'd still be a better guardian that you ever were!" Dan yells, turning his back

"So you don't love him?"

"No, I'm Madly in love with him! How Dare you think I didn't love him!  He is Perfect and I'll never let him go!" Dan yells one more time before slamming the front door shut behind him. When he looks up at the stairs phil is standing there, he looks like he's about to cry,

"You mean it?.." phil asks

"..You'll never let me go?" 

"Never ever. I love you too much to leave you" dan says walking up the few steps to where phil is and wrapping his arms around him and pulling him into a kiss.

Kinda got friend zoned but also I kinda friend zoned them...

Also don't really care, lol
