Nanami's POV

I stiffened in my place and the fact that he was breathing right beside my ear was not helping at all. My heart pounded like it would come out of my chest anytime.

Just than suddenly that unknown feeling left my body. I slowly turn around and there he was standing in all his glory smirking at me .I raise my eyebrow and he spoked " hey four eyes I never go back with my words you know."

With that he slowly sat down in the chair infront of me and looked at me, no wait, like stared at me. There were gasps and murmurings and I felt uneasy. He doesn't seems to be affected at all and here I was sinking in my chair. I don't know how he handles all this things everyday. Yeah, how can I forget that practice makes man perfect .I showed him my blank face, though I was sweating like anything and ignored him eating my lunch as the cool breeze blew from the window.

Davien's POV

I can't believe that this girl is ignoring me. She continued eating as the cold breeze blowed from the window loosening some of the strands of her hair. I had these sudden urge to tuck her hair back but before I knew I was Leaning and slowly tucked her hair behind .I can feel that she was shocked but she composed herself and looked up .We were inches apart and though she was wearing glasses I can see her brown eyes but I also saw  something more

Pain
Yes pain. Though she always has these blank face I can feel that
She was suffering , she was ripped inside and worst her eyes told me that she didn't have anyone to fix it. I don't know  why but I wanted to help her ,I wanted  to fix her back.

Nanami's POV

We were inches apart and he looked at my eyes as if he can see right through my soul and it felt uncomfortable. I cleared my throat and he immediately straightened himself and plastered his face with one of his annoying smirk.

"You ruined my shirt and talked back to me four eyes." I looked at him.

"Don't call me that and I said sorry. Don't you know the meaning of S-O-R-R -Y."
.I said spelling the word sorry. Wow where is this confidence coming from?? I shrugged my mental thoughts mentally.

"I may not be a nerd like you but I am smart and so I definitely know the meaning of sorry and spelling too four eyes" He said emphasising four eyes amusement clear in his eyes.

I decided to ignore the last two words "if you are that smart why don't you show you smartness and get the hell out of here."

His smirk completely went away.
"Don't you dare talk to me like that. I am talking to you sweetly doesn't mean that you can dance in my head." He growled at me with a loud bang on the table. I flinched at the sound.

I stared at him with fear. No doubt that he is also one of the most  dangerous boy in the entire school.
Suddenly the bell rang signalling that the lunch was over so I stood up and went outside not even bothered look at his angry face.

I walked in the hallway and there everyone was looking at me and talking. I hung my head down and continued walking.

" Hey look she is the one who was with Davien. What do you think  they talked about?" One of the brunette asked.

" Who knows but is she new? I have never seen her around." Yeah I am new, so new that I know each and every person of this school and that each and everyone doesn't even know I exist. Well until now.

" I don't know but Davien looked angry."
I blocked their whispers and headed towards my next class.

The Bell rang signalling it was time to go home. I was leaving when Mrs Smith called me
" Ms Hawkins , can you stay I need to talk to you"
I turned towards her and nodded  as she continued

" I need you to help the librarian
You see the girl who was helping her is sick and there are lots of work to do. She can't finish it by herself and needs someone who has patience and is responsible. So I thought about you. She spoked and I stared at her thoughtfully.

"Ahhh!! don't you worry,  you will get extra credit for these."

I know what will happen if I went home late but even if I don't I will gets my gifts. So why not make some little memories before going to face devils in their cave.
"Sure I would be happy too". Mrs Smith smiled at me and I nodded making way to the library.

Stacks and stacks of books were scattered in every corner and shelves of the library. I looked around still finding the librarian.

" Um..... do you need anything my Dear? " Somebody asked me from behind, I turned around and saw Ms  Brook carrying a piles of book on either side of her hands.

" No , I was send by Mrs Smith to help you".

"Oh thank you very much dear. Can you help me with these piles of book here?" She asked me and I nodded taking the books from one of her hand .

After an hours we finally finished our work.
" Finally we have finished. Oh dear if you would have not been here I am sure I would not be able to do It myself. Thank you very much. " She said smiling brightly at me.

"It's fine and I loved your company but I think I should go home I am already late".

"Yeah sure "
With that I left the school and headed towards my home or should I call it the devils cave.

I slowly went inside my house and was instantly welcomed by strong smell of alcohol, weeds, and many disgusting things, i scrunch my nose in disgust.I went towards living room and there was my mom sitting in Derek's lap sucking each others face. Not wanting to disturb them I slowly went towards the stairs but it was too late.

"Hey you bitch why you came late ?" My mom's  slurred voice called me.
