Sunday(The next day after Saturday's Charminar outing.)

Anu's pov :

Today Vikram planned a small trip to Nagarjuna sagar.

He said as it is monsoon season the view there would be so beautiful and refreshing. Today's weather is also pleasant and calm.

We asked Rupa and Ravi Anna to join us as road trips to such places would be more enjoyable with friends.

We started the journey at 10 o'clock. We stopped in the middle near a hotel to have our breakfast. 

Initially, I and Rupa thought to prepare breakfast and also pack some lunch but Vikram stopped us saying all the cooking with tried us and it will also take time. So we skipped the idea and just packed a few sandwiches and fruits for the picnic time.

After having our breakfast we again resumed our journey.

We reached the Nagarjuna Sagar dam area by 12.30 pm.

The dam site is certainly a beautiful and natural feast to our eyes.

As it is monsoon season the water level and flow is high and the atmosphere is so cool with fast wind breezes.

We went boating. It is surely a beautiful experience.

Later we picked a picnic spot and laid our mat there. We enjoyed the view for some time eating the snacks and talking about random things.

Next, we moved towards the wildlife sanctuary which is located adjacent to the Nagarjuna Sagar reservoir.

Sanctuary is well maintained with nearly 150 species of birds and many other animals.

We enjoyed seeing all the birds and animals for some time. It is a refreshing experience.

There are also guesthouses and cottages in sanctuary premises for the tourists.

Next, we went to the nearby restaurant and had our late lunch.

It's a pure vegetarian meal.

I liked the restaurant's interior, it resembles village atmosphere. The way they arranged the food items on the table is also so cute.

The dishes are also delicious. 

We enjoyed our lunch.

After lunch, we moved to the Ethiopothala waterfall. It is a popular mountain stream which is located few kilometres away from Nagarjuna Sagar dam.

The waterfall is so beautiful.

There is a crocodile breeding centre near the waterfalls.

We enjoyed our time playing in the waterfalls, clicking our photos and enjoying the view.

Next, we moved towards the Nagarjuna Konda caves. We can s also call it a Musem.

It is located on the top of the hill. These caves depict the life of Buddhist civilization. It also has beautifully carved sculptures and life-size statues.

The place is beautifully storing a lot of history in it.

For Vikram and Ravi Anna also it is the first time visiting the places around Nagarjuna Sagar so we all enjoyed with our curiosity to know the history of every place.

While returning back, we again stopped near the Nagarjuna Sagar dam as we had listened the sunset view here would be really pleasant and beautiful.

True to the words, it is really so peaceful and pleasant view.

The sunsets are always so calm.

This small trip is really a memorable one. It's so refreshing from the city atmosphere with all the nature.

We returned back after enjoying the sunset.

I think we had nearly taken hundreds of photos in different poses. Rupa really loves taking photos. Whereas I'm not much of a fan of taking photos but this new experience feels so good.

We took a take away for dinner in the middle and reached our respective houses by night.  

We got fresh up and ate our dinner.

At present we are laying on our bed just thinking about the day.

"Thank You for the day Vikram, I really enjoyed it. " I said.

"My pleasure wifey." He said taking me into his arms.

I kept my head on his chest. 

"I also enjoyed it very much. It's our first trip after marriage." He said hugging me more tightly.

We stayed in each other arms enjoying the warmth of each other. We talked about a few of our college trips and our hobbies and slowly drifted into sleep comfortably in each other embrace.
