That evening you laid in bed and couldn't help but smile all the time.

You and Jungwon were finally together.

A giggle escaped your mouth as you thought of the kisses you two shared.

With a satisfied sigh you turned to your side and put your hands beneath your cheek.

He and you were really together now!!

You couldn't even describe how happy this made you, you couldn't even believe it.

Jungwon and you - a rising dream couple?

Maybe?

The way your body responded to all of this with smiles, giggles and this warm and fuzzy feeling, this was such a new experience, you didn't even know what to do about it.

All you knew was you wanted to be in Wonnie's arms, kiss him and just be with him all day, sleep next to him but now you were lying by yourself and missed him.

Another small giggle left your mouth, then you got teary eyes as you just wanted to be with him already.

You sighed and looked at the time. You really should get some sleep.

After you turned to your other side, you closed your eyes and tried your best to fall asleep because like this it was sooner to seeing him again.

It took you many, many more thoughts until you were finally able to fall asleep, this time it wasn't because of any negative ones but ones that were all just of Jungwon, your boyfriend.

You had to see him the second you woke up again.

Quickly you got up the next morning, put on whatever you could find, got ready and were just about to leave, then Eunjin called your name.

Immediately you turned around and looked at her: "Yeah?"

"Breakfast, my dear.", she chuckled a little and you quickly nodded: "Right."

So, the two of you sat down in the dining room and ate some rice, kimchi, carrots and onion slices.

You were quite in a hurry as all you wanted to see already was your boyfriend.

Eunjin told you to slow down with a warm smile but you could see the pain in her eyes.

You nodded and slowed down a little.

You obviously didn't forget what happened yesterday as well but you were just so overwhelmed with all the excitement of finally being in a relationship with Jungwon.

Maybe you also didn't exactly want to put your focus on the severe seriousness of the situation...

As you were walking along the hallway of the hospital, you saw a familiar face standing in front of Jungwon's room.

Quickly you walked up to him and tapped his shoulder: "Hey, Noah."

Immediately he looked towards you with a slight smile: "Oh hey, y/n!"

Before you could reply, he added: "Do you know what happened? They said he was in an accident but I don't see any injuries or bandages on his body...?"

"Uhm...", you gulped a little as you looked through the window towards your boyfriend and back to your friend, "well..."

You looked around and then whispered: "He tried to kill himself."

Noah's eyes widened and his smile dropped in an instant: "He what??"

First he was in shock but tears were filling up his eyes, so he lowered his gaze.

You slowly put your hand on his arm and sighed a little, also kind of started to tear up as well: "He uh... he locked himself into his room and tried to overdose on some pills... If I called the emergency any bits later, he might not have been alive..."

Actually saying this out loud, made you realise the seriousness and you had to gulp to not start crying.

But then Noah actually started crying and as you heard a sob, you had a hard time keeping it together yourself...

You slowly pulled him into your arms and he wrapped his arms around you. It was a little awkward at first as you two hadn't been close at all so far but it was alright.

Noah sobbed in your arms and you also started crying.

"Why would he do that??", he barely got out and cleared his throat, "Why did I never notice any signs??"

"Noah... it's not your fault..."

He sighed and tried to calm down: "But... But... Did you know? Or did he ever talk to you about anything like that?"

You took a deep breath and slowly separated yourself from him and looked at Jungwon and nodded: "I mean... I kind of knew? But he said he was too afraid to do it... So I didn't think he'd go through with it..."

He looked at you with an unidentifiable expression: "So you knew and never said anything?"

"What was I supposed to say? This was between him and I.", you defended yourself.

"But still. His life was at risk.", he now rather said pissed.

"Noah, come on.... I didn't think he'd actually do it."

He sighed: "But why would he not come to me?"

"I don't know... I don't know much about you, I just know that he and I have been through similar shit, so maybe that's why he shared this with me instead of anyone else...?"

He sighed again: "Yeah, maybe that's it... But now what?... Like, how do we know he won't try again?"

"I don't know... We just have to be here for him and show him life is worth living...", you looked through the window as you said that but then lowered your gaze.

Life worth living...?

You weren't too sure about that yourself either...

You sighed but before you entered his room, you turned to Noah: "Why are you waiting outside though? Is there a reason you're not going inside?"

He shrugged his shoulders: "I don't know if he would want me here."

"But of course he does! You two are friends, so come on!", you gathered up the courage to smile a little and reached out your hand.

A little sigh left his mouth, so he nodded and took your hand.

Together you walked inside Jungwon's room and Noah closed the door behind him.

You let go of one another and you walked towards him, you kind of bit your lip before you just leaned down a little to kiss Jungwon's forehead.

You took his hand into yours and smiled a little.

Noah's eyes widened: "Wait, wait, wait. Hold up a second, are you two a thing now?"

A slight chuckle left your mouth and you nodded as you looked at him on the other side of the bed: "Yes, we are."

"Damn, I knew it.", he also slightly chuckled and then winked at you.

You just shook your head: "Oh yeah?"

You glanced at Jungwon and then back at Noah: "Well, it's undeniable that I love this boy... He's just... So imperfectly perfect. His big dreamy eyes, his sweet smile and laugh and his goofy ass."

You had to laugh a little after saying that but Noah just 'aww'-ed and smiled: "The first time I met you and saw you to together, I just knew you'd be a thing. I mean, he already talked about you and well, at first he thought you were annoying as hell but especially during the vacation, that's when he knew."

You had to chuckle as he said the 'annoying as hell' but then couldn't help but to smile so dearly at your sleeping boyfriend: "I think that's when I also really knew... Spending time with him like this was really special, I loved every second of it and being so close with him... It made me feel something I never felt before."

A cheeky smile crossed Jungwon's face, so you slightly pinched his stomach: "Yahh, you're awake, you idiot."

He chuckled a little and then looked at both of you: "I already was when you entered but I just had to listen what you had to say."

Noah then sighed out relief: "Man, I'm so glad you're okay now..."

Those two hugged and you smiled a little.

Jungwon replied: "Yes... uhm... I'm sorry I didn't tell you anything before..."

Noah stood back up and sighed a little again: "It's okay, you've got y/n and that's more than enough."

You two smiled at each other but then you looked back at Jungwon: "I just hope he won't scare me like this again."

Jungwon bit his lip and nodded: "I won't... I really missed you last night..."

A small pout was building up on your lips and you two gave each other such a loving gaze: "I missed you too... I almost couldn't sleep because I was only thinking of you."

"Aww, stop, that's so cute.", Noah interrupted and sat down on the chair.

You two chuckled a little and then you leaned down again to actually kiss him on the lips, so he returned the kiss and you could already feel yourself melting onto his lips.

His touch was all you needed.

You wanted to break the kiss after a bit but he kept you close as he wrapped his arm around you, so you two made out a little more.

Noah just shook his head and laughed: "Yah, I'd say get a room but you already are in one. With me. Sooo?"

The two of you chuckled a little embarrassed as you separated your lips from one another and looked at your friend.

Noah added: "Soo, when are you allowed to go home?"

"After lunch. So, it's still around three more hours."

You then said: "Okay, that's how long we'll stay with you."

"I'd like that.", Jungwon nodded.

Your friend then suggested: "Y/n, why don't we find some games and bring them back here, huh?"

"Okay, yes, let's do that.", you gave Jungwon a peck on the lips and then fully separated yourself from him, "we'll be back soon, baby."

"Okay, see you then, babe."

You two smiled at each other a little longer and then you left the room with Noah again.
