Abir :]

"Bro! From the very first day I was telling you to behave properly with her, she's our senior officer.. But you didn't, see I am not saying there is no fault from her side but we are just a guest here, so why will we create violence!! " Nikhil tried to make me understand, sometimes he just gives me extra gyan which bores me a lot. Because he just spits facts ..

I was thinking about apologizing to her, but after her outburst I didn't feel like going to the office.. I didn't want to face her .. But she's dhit too, if I will say sorry she would taunt me again. I was lying on my bed the whole day.. "Bro I hope we have come here to work because we haven't started anything yet, we need to focus on work!! " he reminded me, I nodded.. Grabbing my laptop from the other side of the bed, I kept it on my belly and started doing my work..

After half an hour a knock on the door pulled both of us out of our working zone.. I was too lazy to move so I insisted Nikhil to go and open the damn door.. It's 6:30 in the evening, I had no idea who came to us at this time.. Nikhil opened the door, I was shocked to see Mishti there..

"Hello! I hope I didn't bother you.. " she said politely, surely you did  .. I was thinking of completing my work today..

I closed my laptop and took a glance of her.. She entered inside, I thought she would be angry but she came here to our room, I wonder what made her come here..

"Hello! " I waved my hand at her..

"I hope your friend knows some manners!! " she said to Nikhil, I quickly got up and wrapped a towel around my neck as soon as I realized that I was shirtless..

"Actually mom invited you both for dinner! " she said being uninterested, the ground beneath me slipped away, Nikhil was equally shocked.

"She got to know about the fever things and the way I behaved with you .. I got two hours of lecture already , still she is feeling bad for you, so she invited you both to dinner .. " she concluded.. I gazed at her, it's unintentional but still she had to listen all tantrums from her mom. Now it made me feel bad. If she would have a little idea of my fever, they she would have never thrown water at me. It's not totally her fault..

"I hope you guys will come otherwise mom will take my extra classes ! "  she hurried out, she didn't even wait for us to say anything.. I and Nikhil, we both stared at each other in shock.. "Bro! " Nikhil sighed, the first time I felt really bad for a girl and guilty for my behavior.. I was no good with her as well ..

"Bro for the first time a girl's mother invited both of us, I feel nervous! " Nikhil said showing his hesitation, we both were on our way to her home.. "I am with you, chill! " I said trying to boost his energy..

"That's the reason I am nervous! "

It took me two minutes to understand his sarcasm, I glared at him.. The door was closed, we both stood up there silently without knocking it.. "It's me who's wrong but here I am the one who's getting an apology, wah! " I muttered to myself.. Taking a deep breath I knocked on the door twice.. After a few seconds the door got unlocked ..

We both were welcomed by a grumpy smile and angry glare, it's none other than Mishti Agarwal.. I cleared my throat and smiled politely.. "You can press the ringbell rather than hitting the door, huh! " she commented, the kind boy in me left my body just when I heard her..

This girl will never be nice to be, not once atleast! Ugh!

"Why are you standing there? Let them come inside... " a sweet voice echoed our ears, keeping our shoes at the stand we both entered inside.. "Namaste aanty! " I touched her feet followed by Nikhil, mishti passed by us, muttering something to herself..

Now what did I do?

"You didn't have to do all this for us, " I expressed, aanty guided us to inside.. "See mumma, I was saying you already. Now send both of them back.. " she shouted from the kitchen, aanty flared her nose in anger, we both boys faked a smile..

I can't say anything about dinner but I am going to get a lot of tantrums for free..

"I am sorry for what she did to you.. I won't defend her, but it's just she is a workaholic girl and she wants everything to be perfect. I don't know exactly what happened but she should not have behaved so rude with you. A sincere apology from my side.. "

"No aanty it's completely fine.. She had no idea about my fever, it's okay.. "

"Still she should not have thrown water at you.. "

"It's okay aanty.. I am not fond of working so it makes her angry most of the time, " I said pressing my teeth, forming a grin.. She came to us holding a big plate and placed it on the dining.. My eyes sparkled and mouth filled with saliva seeing so many tasty dishes.. The smell was so good.. It's looking delicious.. They had made so many dishes and coincidentally all were my favorite..

"Bro it looks tasty but I hope she hasn't added poison for extra taste! " Nikhil said in a slow tone, I chuckled internally..

Two innocent boys died after eating poisoned food served by their senior employee.

We both started eating, it not only looks delicious but also tastes delicious ..It reminded me of mom.. "Aanty thank you for it, it's been ages.. Last time I had homemade food when Abir's mom visited us.. It's really tasty.. " Nikhil said, his eyes got teary.. I pressed his palm and smiled..

"Why? You don't go to your house? " Aanty asked out of curiosity, the smile on my face faded..

"Actually I don't have a family! " he said, he's an orphan.. Through scholarship he got admission into my school.. My mom loves him a lot, so he started living with me after that..

"I am sorry! " Aanty whispered..

"It's okay aanty.. I never feel the emptiness actually, because I have a family called Abir. He is my mother father brother friend, he is my everything! " he said, I couldn't eat more as my throat started itching.. My eyes got teared up, wrapping my one hand around his waist I pulled him close to me and hugged him..

"Add me too, in your family hug! " Aanty came to us and hugged both of us from our back, we smiled at each other.. "Mishti, you come too! " Aanty called her, she came to me but could not understand what to do. I stared at her, we had 2 seconds of awkward eye contact, then she went towards her mom and hugged her from her back..

Nikhil took out his phone and clicked a selfie, I felt at home today..

After dinner we both were resting in the living room, mishti came with her mom.. "I am going to handle the bakery , be comfortable and take it as your own house! " saying she left, we both waved at her..

It's only three of us and our glares towards each other..

"Would you mind if I watch a movie? " she asked pointing at the TV, we both denied.. She turned on the tv and searched for a movie.. "What about a horror movie? " I suggested , she was quick enough to shake her head in a no..

"I prefer comedy genre! "

"Indirect way of saying that you are scared of horror movies, tch tch tch! " I provoked her and guess what it's working.. "I am not! " she stated..

"You are you are! " we both mocked, she flared her nose in irritation and gave the remote to me..

"Please provide us two blanket! " Nikhil said, she left to her room, I had watched conjuring part one but I was scared enough to made a wise decision and didn't watch the part two. But now I guess I need to pull out the beast from me.. I played it..

Mishti gave one blanket to Nikhil and another to me.. He was sitting on a single sofa where I was sitting on the large sofa, Mishti sat towards the other edge of the same sofa.. The more the movie was going onwards, the less our space was becoming, she's moving towards me.. I tried to not laugh at her state..

A point came when she came inside the blanket, she's watching the ghost while I was watching her.. She made the movie little less traumatic for me.. "There is no space between us anymore! " I reminded when she tried to sqeeze me, reality hit her and she stared at me..

"Oh! " she mumbled and wrapped the blanket around her properly ... I looked at Nikhil, he was sleeping. I shook my head in disbelief..

"Mummy! " she suddenly jumped from the sofa, as we both were wrapped under the same blanket, our body got tangled with each other and we fell off the sofa.. "Mummmaaa! " she again screamed, pressing her face in the crook of my neck.. We both were on the ground, wrapped around a blanket, she's above mine..

My heartbeat increased, she started shaking her face in my neck in fear, I glided my hand around her waist, her heartbeat was faster.. "Calm down, the ghost is inside the tv! " I whispered, she stopped shaking her head and leaned back..

I gazed at her black orbs, her hair was falling all over her face, I tucked some strands behind her  ears, now her face was visible to me.. Even through the darkness her face was glowing..

Again some of her hair strands fell back as she had silky hair.. "You should not be scared of ghosts, you look nothing less! " I commented, suppressing my laugh,  though looking angelic.I love to annoy her . Her eyes turned big, "You look like a giant animal! "

"You look like a rat! " I added..

"You look like a camel! "

"You look like a chimpanzee! "

"Haw? You look like a gorilla! " she muttered, I sighed in distress..

"You look like a potato! "

"You look like a bean! "

"GUYSSSS JUST STOP! "

Someone shouted and we both snapped our heads back.. It's Nikhil..

"You both are looking like pigs, now happy? Let me sleep.. Ugh such kids! " he screamed at the top of his voice and again slept.. We realized that we were still in the same position.. She tried to get up but my locket got tangled with her chain, she fell back on me with a jerk.. Her forehead directly landed on my lips, I shut my eyes tightly.. It's an accidental forehead kiss..

"I am sorry! " she muttered and untangled our accessory, I helped her in getting up and stood up too.. I had no idea about the movie, "This time I won't scream like before! " she said before entering inside my blanket.. She could have brought another blanket huh?

"You can, after all it's horror movie.. You are not supposed to get an orgasm, it's common to scream, but just don't drag me when you fall down next time! " I said my point clearly, she stared at me with an open mouth.. She tried to say something but then shut her mouth..

"Do you get orgasm while watching movies? " she asked after a few minutes of silence, I chuckled.. "Only if I am doing something in the background! " I said , trying to suppress the little dirty smirk from my lips.. She raised her brows and again moved her focus to the tv screen..

It's near the end, I had no idea about the movie because throughout the movie I was watching her. Shaking my head in disbelief I closed my eyes and leaned back, my eyes were tired due to the brightness of the television.. I was not able to get sleep either, because of her, we were under the same blanket..

"Mummmmyyyyy! " she muttered to herself and came close to me and held my hand in a tight grip. "I will never ever watch any movie with you, you both dumbasses left me in halfway! " she started rebuking us, I pretended like I was sleeping.. "Someone save me, Lord! " she whispered, I was trying very hard to not laugh..

"Eeeeee nooo! " she buried her face on my chest and covered herself with the blanket.. She could have turned off the tv but here she's scaring herself only.. Her body was trembling.. I felt bad for her, so I wrapped my one hand around her waist and pulled her closer.. No way we both are just co-workers..

She got herself more into me.. The warmth of her was so comforting.. I can't believe she watched the movie till the end..

As the movie ended she turned off the screen and started chanting Hanuman chalisa, I swear I was laughing hard but without any noise.. She dragged the blanket more and completely covered herself, her body turned into a ball and she snuggled into me.. I stretched myself a little, she curled her finger on the midline of my shirt which unbuttoned the first two buttons of my shirt..

The back of her fingers were brushing against my chest, she was holding my shirt tightly.. I opened my eyes and looked down, burying her face on my chest she's trying to sleep.. I had never seen this side of her.. It reminded me of our first meet, she was a little scared, her hair was a little messy, her nose was red.. Today she was exactly looking like that.. I kept looking at her face until realization hit me hard..

I gazed at the clock, it's 3:00 am already.. Aanty will come at any time, Mishti was sleeping in my arm, she would never like this.. Her grip around my shirt had loosened, she was in deep slumber.. I looked at Nikhil, he's sleeping too.. Removing the blanket from us, I lifted her in my arms .. Unknowingly she wrapped her arms around my neck and kept her head on my chest..

There were only two bedrooms , so I entered the first room, guessing it might be her.. Seeing the stuff I realized it's aanty's, so I made my way to the other room.. While walking towards her room, once again I stared at her face.. She was sleeping so peacefully.. For the first time I got a feeling, an unknown feeling.. I felt attached.. I felt like I wanted to protect her, I just wanted to keep her with me.. She was looking so tiny in my arm and so comfortable..

I placed her gently on the bed and made sure that the blanket was covering her completely.. A dim light was on, I could see her face through the semi darkness.. I came back to the hall with a smile on my face, she's not that hard to deal with.. I lay back on the sofa , it's cold here so I wrapped the blanket around me and slept..

"Finish your work soon, I will tell Mishti to show you this beautiful place.. You will definitely fall in love with Darjeeling! " Aanty said, it's early morning.. Mishti was still sleeping, as we had work we both got up early..

"Jii aanty sure! Now I think we gotta go otherwise we will be late! "

"I really enjoyed the days in Goa, what a vibe, what a place! " Drishti said excitedly, she went to Goa for an office project, God's favorite child.. Here I am sitting here for the last one year, going absolutely nowhere..

"Congrats! " I mumbled..

"Are you jealous of me? " she said showing her side eyes and a creepy smile, "Of course not! " I muttered, huh? We both were sitting in my cabin, my eyes spot on Abir who just passed by my cabin, I could see him through the glass wall.. My eyes stayed on him till he vanished away.. Drish cleared her throat and I moved my eyes to her..

"You know what, he is not what I was thinking about him? " I said , "What you were thinking about him and what he is? "

"Well, last night I slept with him -"

"WHATTTTTRR? "

"Why are you shouting-" she didn't even let me say a word and again screamed..

"WHATTTTTT????? YOU SLEPT WITH HIM???? WHAT?????? " she again screamed, I ran towards the door and locked it from inside.. "Can you just shut up? " I tried to calm the idiot..

"No no? I was just away from you for how many days? Only three days and you slept with him? Seriously ! "

I took a deep breath and sat on my couch, I was thankful to my boss for making the cabin soundproof.. "Mam! Can I say something? " I said in a mocking way, she made a face like I betrayed her..

"What's left to say? You slept with a guy and you are telling it now? For what? I want divorce, we are no more best friend.. This is the end of us, US! " she started wiping her fake tears, I was waiting for the drama to end.

"I didn't have sex with him mata! " I said being totally annoyed with her , her face turned straight and she gazed at me.. I sighed, finally..

"We were watching a movie, he was sitting beside me and I slept in his arm, that's what I am trying to say you idiot dramebaaz! "

"Awwuuuuuu! " she bit her lower lip and smiled like a fool ...

"So what I am saying is that we both were watching a horror movie, Nikhil was there too but he slept.. I was so scared that I couldn't place my feet on the ground after the movie ended.. Abir was already sleeping.. I slept beside him, or I can say by keeping him close, because I was seriously scared.. That's why I avoid movies! "

"I didn't realize when I fell in sleep and in the middle of the night my sleep got disturbed due to his movements.. I got scared when he carried me in his arm but I didn't react. But God, he just put me on my bed, he didn't even touch me inappropriately for a second... He is such a gentleman, you know he covered the blanket and closed the door.. Today's guys are really not trustworthy, he could have done anything to me yesterday but yarr he was so soft... I can't believe I was having a whole different image of him... " I added..

Her lips turned into a smirk and she started lifting her one eyebrows up constantly.. "Listen I am just saying ki he is a gentleman, don't take it otherwise! " saying I walked out of the room..

I was on my way to the coffee counter when my eyes landed on Abir & Sara.. They both were normally talking with each other..

I didn't feel like having coffee anymore so I turned back to leave but I bumped with Drish.."what? " I stated as she was giving me some creepy looks like she caught me red handed.. "You don't like Sara, right? "

"Yeah, from the very first day!! I just don't know why... " I said, I again went back to my cabin, knowing my devil best friend will tease me by saying his name, but there's nothing. Nothing.

"By the way Mishti.... "

Hearing her voice I knew she was on a mission..

"Did you meet our boss today? " I wasn't expecting a question like this, it's such an out of syllabus question.. "Yes, why? " I responded..

"You would have noticed yarr, he was wearing a white shirt today and I accidentally dropped ink on him.. He had no idea that I had ruined his shirt.. " saying she started laughing , I was literally clueless.. She's not talking about Abir, it's strange.. I bit my inner cheek and continued to do my work..

"Ehh shit shit shit! Sara poured her coffee on Abir's white shirt!! " she said.

"But he was wearing a blue shi -" I bit my tongue and shut my eyes.. I knew it, this girl was always like this, she knows how to trap me..

"Our bus is wearing a maroon shirt today, but you didn't notice.. Why did you notice Abir's???? "

"Listen I don't have time for your useless questions.. " I muttered, we both snapped towards the door hearing the bell sound.. Drish went to open the door, it's our dearest boss. I stood up and greeted him with a smile.. He glared at both of us and crossed his hands above his chest..

"Whole industry people have the same complain that I give you both extra freedom. Anywhere I go, it's Mish and Drish. Just like the name coordinate with each other, your works do too.. Twenty four hours! You both just do gossip and drink coffee, you guys don't obey any of my rules!!! " he said strictly, like we care?

Drish let out a deep breath and rolled her eyes.

"But we complete our work before the deadline, these jelly people just can't stand our friendship! " she said, I chuckled..

"And Sir how come you give us freedom? You don't even send us to same place for project, if you send her to North then you send me to South.. Who the hell is making stories? We hardly get any time together! " I added, Drish nodded her head in agreement..

"Oh well Thank you, I completely forgot about it. You are going towards our northern zone for a project.. As the place is not so developed so you have to stay in a van and I have arranged everything.. One van for you and one van for Abir.. " he informed, my eyes widened hearing him..

We both are going together? That too, towards the northern part.. Drish gave me side eyes look, I rolled my eyes..

"And another van for  Sara! "

My face dropped hearing her name, God why? Why? Why? Literally why????

"Tomorrow morning! Get ready before 7:00 am! " saying he left.. Drish came running to me with a teasing smile..

"See God is giving you both some alone time, it's destiny bro! " she said, as usual I ignored this topic and packed my papers related to the project.. "Can you please come to my house tomorrow at 6:00 , I need your help! " I said, she nodded positively..

It's around 6:50 when I reached our office campus with Drish.. It's Darjeeling, sometimes I forget that it's Darjeeling.. While packing I had forgotten to pack my woolen clothes then Drish reminded me how freezing environment it's in North side.. The good thing of staying here is that I am habitual of this weather.. Like I can survive in the coldest place..

Both Sara and Abir were nowhere to be seen, my boss was not there too.. I heard heavy footsteps so I turned back, it's Abir.. My eyes got stuck on him,  he was just running in a slow place , but looking so smoking hot! For what particular reason..

"I hope I am not late this time! " he smiled happily and placed his bag on the ground.. "It's so cold here, I will die! " he whispered in his trembling voice, his face was looking red... He was constantly exhaling hot air through his mouth..

"It's not that cold here! " I muttered, I wonder how will he handle the North region cold..

"It's .. See my hand! " he said and placed his both palm on my cheeks, shiver ran down through my spine due to his sudden move.. He squeezed my cheek between his palms and I was just staring at him , blinking my eyes.. "Isn't it cold!? " he asked, my throat got dried, I nodded, he removed his hands..

I gulped and licked my lips, my heartbeat increased for a moment.. I moved my eyeballs towards Drish, as I was expecting she was staring at me with a teasing smile.. I shook my head in disbelief.. A car stopped in front of the gate, Sara hadn't arrived, so I was happy.. I can't stand her, I just don't know why..

We both headed towards the car, my boss just messaged me about the arrival of the car.. Just when I reached the car my smile vanished seeing Sara inside the car . God why? I thought she won't come with us, now bear her.. She's sitting on the back seat, Abir sat on the passenger seat so I had to sit beside her.. I plugged my earphones and completely avoided the situation..

After reaching here we went to our branch office, around 6 am we left the office. Our staying place was just 1 km away from the office.. There is no fucking hotel around us where we can stay, so we have to stay in van. Our office will provide us meal.. Sara left the office early because she's tired and had completed her work..

I lost the track with Abir, so decided to go alone.. I was on my way, it's totally dark .. I was freezing due to the low temperature.. I saw a tea stall but there were five guys who changed my mindset to go to the tea stall, they were looking horrible..

As I passed by them they started throwing some nasty comments and started laughing.. I wanted to  punch every one of them but then I very well know about my strength and I was hungry and tired.. I got startled when someone jumped in front of me.. "Let us suck your juicy melons! "

I felt disgusted , till now I was controlling myself but that comment woke up the demon in me.. I slapped hard on his cheek, making him bleed.. His friends stood up, he was fuming in anger.. He was about to grab my throat when a person kicked his stomach and he fell on the ground groaning in pain..

It's Abir.. I took a breath of relief. He removed his jacket and handed over me.. He rolled up his sleeves and proceeded to go towards the man who was struggling to get up.. I had seen several shade of Abir but this was so aggressive and so hot, I couldn't resist but stare at him.. That man was about to get up but Abir placed his shoe on his throat, my eyes widened..

"Dare to touch her and I will bury you under six feet without any second thought! "

His voice was like the calm wave whose impact can be dangerous, it made me scared too.. "Oye Hero! Leave him.. " one of his friend said, Abir clenched his jaw and rushed towards them.. In a blink of an eye they were on the ground, all of them were bleeding and screaming in pain..

"Let's go! " he ordered, I nodded and followed him.. He was looking angry, I was still holding his jacket.. I wonder how he was surviving in this cold without the jacket.. "You could have waited for me, " he muttered, I stayed silent.. We reached the van, his phone started ringing.. He went a little far in search of network.. I took out the key from the jacket and went inside..

Keeping his jacket on the small bed I went to washroom.. Taking a hot shower I wrapped the white towel around me.. I was doing my chorus but my mind was still stuck there.. He would have done it for any other girl, but the way he said dare to touch her and I will bury you under six feet without any second thought... It gave me butterflies.

I realized that I was standing on the washroom, just on a towel, without doing anything.. Shaking my head in disbelief I came out of the washroom, as I remembered I had turned on the light but now it's off.. It's completely dark.. I felt someone's presence there.. In the dark I saw a manly figure near my bed..

"Who's this! " I tried to push him towards the door but we ended up on the bed, I couldn't see where was the door and where was the bed.. "It's meeee! "

It's Abir's voice, as we both fell down, he wrapped his hand around my waist.. He switched on the light as the switch was near the bed.. I felt so embarrassed, he tucked my hair strand behind my ear.. I gulped hard, he moved his hand down to my shoulder.. Due to my move, my towel got loosened near my chest.. He placed his hand above my towel and curled his fingers around my towel, in a tight grip.

I felt his fingers above my breast, I would have punched someone if he would do this to me, but his intension were not wrong.. The next moment he flipped me and changed our position, now it's me under him.. He removed his hand from my towel.. I had no idea about what's happening.. Our position was awakening my desires, his leg was above my thighs..

"What are you doing in my van? " he asked me, it's supposed to be my question but then I looked up and roamed my eyes around the van and realized it's Abir's..

"Oh shit! I couldn't realize it's yours and by mistake I took out the keys from your jacket as I had it, so I didn't realize.. But I was taking a bath, couldn't you hear the sound? " I said..

"First of all, even though you mistakenly entered my van, you could have just locked the door. And second I was zoned out because I had my headphones on and I was listening music in a high volume.. "  he said, so all the mistake was done by me only..

"Oh I am sorry, I was just little off due to the comments and all.. "

He got up and adjusted his shirt.. "Can you go outside so that I can change! " I added, he chuckled then rolled his tongue in his mouth.. "What are you going to wear in my van? "

I hit my forehead, I again forgot it's his van.. I stood up and made my way towards the door.. He placed his jacket on me, "It's cold outside! " he replied, I grabbed my jacket as I had the keys inside the pockets.. My van was near his, I quickly ran to my van and went inside.. What's happening with me?

I quickly changed my dress and again went to his van to bring my clothes.. One of the canteen staff brought dinner for us, we all did our dinner in our separate van.. I was feeling too alone, there was no network too.. Otherwise I would have watched a movie or scrolled Instagram..

My sleep got disturbed, I saw the time and realized it was just 12:30.. I looked outside through the glass, Abir was sitting beside a fireplace.. I went outside and sat beside him.. He wrapped his blanket around me, I felt so good due to the fireplace..

"Thank you Abir! " I muttered, he looked at me..

"For the blanket? "

"No! For saving me from those people.. "

"Oh! That's my duty, " he whispered..

"Is it your duty to protect girls from people like them? "

"Protecting you is my duty! " he mentioned, the crimson red colour appeared on my cheeks..

"Why? Because I have come with you? You take me as your responsibility? " I asked, he looked towards me.. We were under the same blanket, sitting next to each other , we were so close that there was no space for air to pass even.. He was staring at me, his face was glowing.. He traced his thumb on my jawline, I felt something strange in my core..

"No! I won't like if someone says anything bad to my girl.. " he whispered, I was numb.. He placed his palm on my cheek, my heartbeat was rapid.. I closed my eyes feeling his touch..

I opened my eyes only to get a reality check..

Fuck I was DREAMING?

I WAS DREAMING HIM?

I jerked off from my sleep and sat on the bed, my breathing was not normal.. God? I pulled out a bottle and took few sip of water.. It's exactly 12:30.. I looked outside and it felt like I was dreaming again.. Because Abir was sitting outside beside a fireplace.. I pinched myself..

It's not a dream.. Wrapping a shawl around myself I went outside.. He was eating pokada which was arranged in a stick.. "Hii.. "

He got startled seeing me because he was not expecting my presence.. "Oh hello! " I sat a little away from him.. He forwarded the plate to me and I took a stick, he added mayonnaise over it and started eating his.. I added tomato sauce over it and it's taste got increased..
