"Did you get the mail? We got one day leave because of some emergency! " she informed me, I went through my mails, I hardly open this app, that's why always get myself into trouble.. "Oh I see! " I mumbled.. I woke up so early for what?

"So what's up? I mean are you going to sit over here for the whole day ? " she asked, I moved my gaze from the phone screen to her, she was looking excited.. "What are you upto? "

"Okay so as we got one day leave, let's go somewhere.. Or let's just explore this valley, it's so beautiful.. "

"No please! I am not in a mood, I need rest! " I said and yawned lazily.. She put on a long jacket around her, would she go alone? "Okay bye! If I won't come before evening then tell our boss that some goons kidnapped me! " such a smooth way to blackmail me, huh?

I took my jacket and ran behind her, she was giggling because her plan worked.. I rolled my eyes, I thought I would sleep peacefully. Then I have Mishti Agarwal by my side, sleep is far away. "It's looking so beautiful, isn't it? " she asked, I looked around. She opened her arm and closed her eyes, inhaling the freshness of nature..

She let go off my hand and sat down on the grasses.. I was too mesmerized to think anything.. "I can't express how good I am feeling right now.. " she expressed, "me too! "I whispered.. Hearing me she quickly stood up and stared at me in shock..

" Nikhil was saying that you don't like such places.. "

I was not talking about these places either..

"Oh, it's not like that, my boss always send me to these hills and mountain places for outdoor work.. And I am so done with it.. " I replied, she glared at me and made a face like I said something bad about her.. "Wait, I will make you fall in love with nature.. "

She placed her one palm above my eyes, due to our close proximity I could feel her cologne.. She stepped close to me.. My mind went blank.. Sweet tortures!! "Just forget everything and keep your mind blank.. "

"Can you able to hear the sound of crashing of waves, the soothing sounds of wind, the crashing rhythm of leaves, can you feel it? " she whispered..

All I was hearing her steady heartbeat which was making my heart beat faster.. She wants me to fall for her or for the nature? Because she's the biggest distraction hear.. Her hair was constantly brushing against my cheek.. I felt warm..

"How did you feel? You liked it? " she asked, her eyes were twinkling, she was so close to me that I really wanted to grab her and hold her in my embrace..

" I loved it! " I whispered, her lips curved into a broad smile..

Am I falling for her? Or I am just getting attracted to her.. Whatever it's I am liking it.. I like what I am feeling.. It's surreal, it makes my heart happy..

"See, it's so easy to fall in love with nature, "

"Yeah.. I see.. "

"Now do this.. " she held my hand and kept it above my heart, my heartbeat went faster in a second.. I wonder how I was still alive, this girl was making me go all crazy and I was not able to oppose her even.. "Take a deep breath and see how peaceful it will be.. "You know it is the best momo in this whole country.. You should try this and believe me you will never regret it! " she said in excitement and sat in front of me.. I could not even deny her seeing her excitement.. There were six momos on my plate, I felt like I will vomit there only..

Once upon a time I used to love momo a lot, but I had food poisoning because of it.. My condition was worse and from that time I had a this hateness for momo.. She dipped the momo in the red chilly sause and forwarded towards my mouth.. "Taste it na! I am so excited to hear your reviews.. " she said, I gulped down and opened my mouth..

She pushed the momo into my mouth, thankfully it's not that hot otherwise it would have burnt my mouth.. I started chewing it, controlling my inner urge to vomit.. "It's so tasty that I can't even express, " I mumbled, such a lier I was.. "See! I was telling you.. " she said and took one momo in her mouth..

Her expression were saying how much she's enjoying.. "Mashallah! This is super delicious, "

I wish I could just enjoy it..

"I come here more often for work purposes, but you don't, so take one more! " she added one more on my plate, I didn't even refuse , God knows for what specific reasons! Argh.. One by one I ate all the momos while she was smiling ear to ear, thinking I was enjoying it.. As soon as I finished I went to washroom and vomited everything in one go..

I was feeling so sick, I have tried to eat momos before but my body just can't take it. Not my fault.. I came out of the washroom after cleaning up myself.. She was waiting for me there..

"Let's go back.. " I insisted as I was feeling worse because I just vomited..

She stopped all of a sudden and held the sleeve of my jacket between her two fingers, a small smile crept on my lips, I smirked a little.. The way she pulled me to draw my attention felt cute..
"I think someone is watching us.. " she whispered, I looked at my surrounding, no one was there.. "Is someone behind us? " she asked in horror and shut her eyes.. "Yep, you are right.. " I whispered, she stepped close to me and tightened her grip around my cloth, I chuckled..

"It's our shadow! " I burst out laughing, she opened her eyes and glared at me..

"There's no one, see yourself! "

She looked here and there, I shook my head in disbelief.. "If you are scared then we can go back! " I found an excuse to go back but she shook her head in disbelief.. "We will go for a cycle ride.. " she again dragged me to somewhere.. Today I was just following her like a puppet..

I am not complaining either..

"Mam! There's only one cycle left! " the guard told us, "See ! Now let's go back! " I said pulling her , she jerked my hand away.. "Why are you chanting to go back? I am telling you na stop.. Don't piss me off, can't you just stay for a while.. " she shouted all of a sudden, I stayed numb..

After taking two rides, we kept the cycle at the stand and made our way to our destination..

It's indeed a memorable day.. I hope I will not mix up my feelings into our newly made friendship.. We stopped at the tea stall .. While sipping the tea she was sharing her experience.. She had travelled to this place before so many times and she's saying about it.. I was so busy in admiring her beauty that I became a deef.. I did not even realize that I was sipping the empty cup.. Good thing was that she didn't notice it..

I smiled internally at my crazy act.. Throwing the cups in the dustbin I went to pay the bill.. "Is she your girlfriend? " the vendor asked me, pointing at Mishti, my eyes went wide and I looked back.. Thankfully she was not looking at us and didn't hear anything..

"The way you were starting at her, I thought she's your girlfriend, I am sorry! "

I ran my fingers through my hairs and bit my lower lip.. Did I make it that obvious? After paying him we both went towards our van.. She's looking little lost..

"Can I sleep with you today? "

My jaw hung down and my eyes went wide , my eyes were about to drop out of my socket.. She hit me on my chest..

"You stupid! We both are alone here and I seriously feel like someone is following us.. I am just too scared to stay in my van.. That's why I asked you, "

"Then why are you even asking me at first place, " I rolled my eyes, she smiled devishly and went to her van to bring her blanket.. I took a look of my surrounding, was there actually someone? But why would anyone follow us? I opened the door, we both got inside it.. I locked it properly ..

"You can sleep on the bed, I will sleep on the sofa.. "

"I was not going to even fit on the sofa, look at my height! " I muttered, "Did you just insult my height? " she said , standing on her toes.. I leaned down and moved closer which made her move back.. I felt glad knowing I had some effects on her, the way she had on me.. "I was just praising my height! " I smirked..

She jumped over the sofa and layed down, wrapping the blanket around her.. I went to washroom and wore my night suit.. I turned on a dim light and fell back on the bed.. The fact that we both were inside the same van was making me breathless.. Is there any way out of this mess? The more I am trying to go away from her, the more I am going close to her..

I stared at her face, she was having a peaceful sleep.. This little brat was sleeping peacefully after taking away my sleep.. Something nasty came to my mind, first I thought to not do this but then the demon in me won over the angel.. I pulled out my phone, increased the volume and played a horror sound..

"Mummy! " as I was expecting she quickly stood up on the sofa, throwing her jacket.. But the next moment she jumped to my bed and layed over me, burying her face in the crook of my neck.. "Did you hear the sound? " she actually got scared, her heartbeat was faster.. I quickly turned off the sound and regretted instantly for doing it to her..

"Relax, it's me who did it, " I could have lied but it wouldn't have made her less worry so I told her the truth.. "You idiot! " she started hiting me, I started laughing.. "I was just being good to you, but you did this to me, now go and sleep on the sofa! " she voiced, I shook my head..

"I will see how you will not go! "

She layed between the van wall and me and tried to push me.. "Do you really think it will work? " I said in disbelief, she was trying her level best which was making me laugh.. "I can paste you against the wall, you little rat stop doing that, I am moving! " I shook my head and moved to the sofa with blanket..

"Don't you dare to question my strength, I can fight against hundred people like you, " she said and covered herself up completely..

"Let's start a fight then.. "

I told the ceo to send a lady agent with us so that Mishti will feel comfortable, that's why he had sent Sara earlier . "Where's that girl? Find her first! " someone of them shouted, they started searching for her.. My eyes went wide when I saw Mishti coming exactly towards me, but her eyes were fixed on the ground.. When she reached near , her eyes moved towards us and she's shocked..

"Leave leave... Just leave! " I whispered and showed it by my gesture.. She first stared at me then took a step back..

The next moment she got disappeared from my sight..

I kind of got disappointed because she didn't care about me but her safety come first.. I quickly stood up and cleaned my shirt..

"Listen! Your friends were commenting bad things about my friend, so I beat them . Their actions were wrong , " I tried to put my points, everyone gathered up in front of me, I took a step back.. Such morons!!

"The audacity of you to speak in front of us? " the giant man screamed loudly and started walking towards me..

"I DARE YOU TO STOP OTHERWISE IT WILL BE WORSE FOR YOU! " Mishti jumped in front of me holding a big knife, a smile crept on my lips, I got some strength.. She took a step back and wrapped her one hand around me backwardly, pointing the knife at them.. She never stops to amaze me..

"I will not let anything happen to you! " she whispered, I could not express how I felt.. That man started laughing and walked towards us.. I became nervous because they were some thirty and we were just two, I gulped..

"Don't you dare to come near us, I will kill you! " Mishti shouted at him, her fingers which were curled around the thin fabric of my shirt started trembling.. She's equally scared.. Before he could reach us, she ran to them and started hiting them by the knife.. I joined her and the war started..

She's not even looking at anyone , she was just twirling the knife in air and trying to defend herself.. In this process her knife pierced through my skin on my back, I didn't react but it started bleeding.. We could not beat half of them even.. "Don't leave anyone of them! " Ahan came from nowhere, I sighed in relief seeing some guards with him..

I took a step back when I felt bleeding on my upper waist, her knife had actually ripped off my skin.. I moved my eyes around and could not spot Mishti.. "Mishti... Mishti, " I shouted, I could hear her screams from a little distance, I followed her voice, it's coming from the edge of the valley..

I ran towards her, the goon was dragging her holding her hair.. She pushed him which made him fall down the valley, but he dragged her along.. My eyes widened, I shouted her name and ran.. "Mishti, mishti.. "

Each seconds felt like a year, my heart was about to explode.. I felt like I lost someone special.. We fight a lot but she's close to my heart.. I forgot that I was bleeding.. "Abir... Help me.. I will fall down.. " I heard her voice, I got relief when I saw her , she was hanging in air holding a wood.. I gulped seeing the depth, a river was flowing below it but it's not safe..

I looked here and there, but found nothing.. Having no option I started climbing down.. "No no! Don't come here, you will fall too, " she was shouting at me, I had no time to think about me.. If she will fall, I will fall with her, that's it.. I don't care..

"Hold on! "

I held the same wood she's holding, "Why did you come here! " she cried.. "Hold me tightly! " I said, "No, no.. It's dangerous! " she muttered.. She hugged me tightly, I wrapped my both arms around her head to protect her.. In no second we both fell in the river, it's was really deep.. Her grip around me loosened and she went down the water.. Her head hit on a rock after she fell, it's hard to fight against the flow of water..

I swam to her and took her out of the water.. "Mishti wake up, mishti! " I patted her cheek , there's no response.. I called her name for few times, she's still senseless... I had learned about cpr.. Interlocking my fingers I started pressing her chest, making sure her chin was up and her forehead was down..

"Mishti, please wake up.. "

Her chest raised up, she took a deep breath through her mouth.. I closed my eyes in relief.. "Oh thank God, please breath! "

I layed flat on my back, everything started looking blurry.. I could feel the blood on my back.. She sat down and tried to breathe.. "Are you okay? " she asked me , I shut my eyes due to the immense pain.. "You need treatment, please get up, " she kept my head on her lap..

I couldn't even move, getting up and going to any hospital felt like a dream.. She's crying.. "Hands up! " I got startled, few people surrounded us.. They were wearing black suits and holding guns.. I held her hand..

"Who are you? What did you do to him? " one of them yelled at her, she got scared.. I noticed a black strip around their wrist and realized they were my father's guards.. "She had done nothing, she's my friend, stop scaring her! "

This was the last thing I said before closing my eyes..

They took him to the hospital in right time.. I was still unable to believe what just happened.. Those goons were passing bad comments to me, so what were they expecting from us? He always gives me rich vibes, but I had never asked him.. "I am his friend, you can trust me, I will not harm him.. " I tried to make them understand, but he didn't allow me. "Let her go! " a guard who looked like their chief ordered him and they unblocked my way..

"They didn't trouble you right? " he asked me breaking the hug, I responded hmm .. I realized that I was still sitting on his lap, so I got up.. "Mam your phone! " a guard handed me my phone, I went to the balcony and called mom.. She has called me several times..

A young girl was holding an aarti thali, while the old one, who looks like Abir's mom was trying to hold her tears.. As soon as we reached them, she hugged Abir tightly.. I stood there totally numb, from inside I was dying due to anxiety..

Abir introduced me to his mom, I touched her feet.. The young girl was his twin sister Aradhya.. She was very pretty and had brown eyes just like Abir.. I shook my hand with her.. They did our aarti and we both entered inside..

Another girl came running to us and jumped on Abir.. "Swati! He is injured, calm down! " aanty rebuked her, but she didn't pay much attention.. I waited till she finished hugging him.. "I am seeing you after ages! " she complained, Abir chuckled and patted her cheek..

"Who is she? " I whisper-asked, "oh shee! She-"
