Just yesterday we reached here in Darjeeling. I got two days of rest leaves.. Mom was really worried for me, when he heard about Abir's family.. But we both made her understand and calmed her down.. when I told her that Abir and I want to date each other , hoping to marry in future, she's kind of happy and shocked.. Because she's not expecting us to like each other, who would expect after seeing our arguments and fight..

She's not happy about my behavior towards Rajvansh, but what they did was wrong too. They literally targeted my mom and no daughter can tolerate it. I won't hold any grudges against them, but I won't apologize for it.. I was not wrong, it's their ego that led them to lose their son.. I didn't have any talk with Abir regarding his family.. Only his sister had dropped a message to me, it's an apology message..

So many things were going on, I was happy, sad, frustrated. Tomorrow Abir will leave for Mumbai.. We had started knowing each other just recently , I wonder how we survive these long distance things. Even after marriage we will stay apart. I can't leave my mom here and I have cleared this fact from the very beginning. I might sound selfish, but leaving my mom at this age feels so wrong. I will stay worried all the time..

It's evening time.. Abir had sent me a message saying he wanted to take me on a date. It will be our first official date and he had taken permission from my mom as well.. In a world of boys, he is a gentleman! Even it's mom who selected today's outfit for me..

I wore a red velvet one piece and a pearl necklace with a set of matching ear rings. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and wore a high heel which will do nothing in front of his height. I feel so short, huh! I told him to stay at my home, but he chose to stay at a hotel with Nikhil.. I looked at the time, it was 5:30 pm.. I was waiting for him, sitting in our cafe.. Mom was handling the customers.. It's not very crowded though!

"So miss, are you ready for our first official date! " Abir asked me, forwarding his hand.. I smiled and placed my palm above his and stood up. "Yes, Mr Rajvansh! " Holding my hand he took me to mom, my mom was always cool about these things . She always wanted me to have a boyfriend, so today when she saw us holding hands she was beyond happy, lol. "Finally, my girl is living her little fairytale! " she chuckled, I rolled my eyes at her comment..

"I will drop her before 9:00 pm! " he said sweetly , mom agreed.. We both went outside, I had no idea about the venue. "We have to go to the place by walking, it's near only. But I have to blindfold you, " he said and put out a red cloth and covered my eyes.. "I don't think I can walk like this, " I whispered after walking just two steps, everything was looking black and I was wearing heels..

"You don't have to, Princess! " the next moment I was in his arms, I was just imagining people's reaction around us. I was shy for the first time.. After a few minutes he put me on the ground and took a deep breath.. He opened the blindfold, I slowly opened my eyes only to find an empty space..

"I have mentioned before that I don't like fancy dates, but what will we both do here? " I bit my lips, he came to my front and stared at me.. He was looking a little nervous and kind of hesitated. He took a deep breath, "This is going to be our land! We will build our home here, " he announced, it took me a few minutes to understand what he said.. I looked around in shock and then again stared at him.. I was still confused and a lot of questions were in my mind..

"Relax, let me explain to you. Umm I and Nikhil are going to shift here, I have already talked with both of our bosses and it's almost done. They just need a few days, then we both will shift here! " he said, my eyes widened in shock.. I took a step back and gazed at him.. My eyes filled with tears, probably happy tears.. I was unable to express any type of emotions , I wasn't expecting it honestly.. I did not even know that these things could also happen..

He pulled me to my place again and held my shivering hands.. "And we will stay here at our office quarters. Nikhil is my only family and you know how important he is for me. I can't live without him. So I want to build a house before our marriage. And we both will invest our savings to build a home. I could have stayed with you, but Nikhil would have been alone. He will get married one day , so we both decided and came to this conclusion. We chose this place because it's close to your house and our office plus Drish's house is near also! " he explained, so many things were happening.. My mind was about to blast..

I could not understand why he dragged Drish into this topic, I started biting my lips and waited for him to explain everything.. "It's just umm they both like each other, even before us! " he mentioned, how many shocks I was going to receive today? I was happy that my best friend will marry Abir's best friend, but no way I got to know about this from Abir, but not from Drish. She's going to hell after I return from this date..

"No matter how many months or years it's going to take , I want to secure our future first then we will get married here! " he said, "Do you agree? " he asked me, without any second thought I hugged him.. I was literally shedding tears, the way he solved all my problems just by his single idea.. Till now I was stressing about everything and he just came to a conclusion and cleared everything. I was beyond happy..

"I want to invest my savings also, because it's going to be our home, " I mumbled and broke our hug. "Drish said the same thing! " he replied, "It's good then. If we four will coordinate then we can easily make our home early! " he said , I nodded.. I hugged him again , he twirled me around himself.. It's the perfect first date ever!

"Have you already bought this plot? " I asked him, he shook his head negatively. "How could I buy this before asking you? Nikhil and I have just chosen this plot, other things will be upon you and Drish! " he addressed, I smiled and nodded. I was happy that he didn't make all the decisions, but just waited for our opinion.. He then took me to a place near a small lake . My eyes widened in happiness..

My jaw dropped, it's sunset time which was adding extra beauty to it.. I just stood there being all amazed.. "Darjeeling is indeed a beautiful place! " he expressed and took a deep breath.. I couldn't help but just stared at him.. The fact that he started loving this place just because I love it.. He used to hate mountains and hill valleys and now see, he have decided to live here forever..

I pulled him by grabbing his collar and locked our lips.. He was startled due to my sudden move, I wrapped my arms around him and melted instantly when he deepened our kiss.. His fingers moved to my hair and pulled me close, the slow and sweet kiss were giving me butterflies in my tummy.. We broke our kiss, he lifted me in his arms and twirled me..

Three years later ♡

Three years has been passed, a lot of things has been changed in these years. Abir had a house in Mumbai which was gifted by his sister, he sold it and returned all the money to his father as per his sister's wish. Because Abir had taken some loan from his dad and Aradhya di wanted Abir to pay it by selling this house. Because he has already shifted here. She made it easier for him..

In this last three years, he was not in touch with any of Rajvansh members except Aradhya di.. Di have visited us thousands of times and also she's very sweet to me. The fact that she got married two years ago, but neither of us visited to her wedding.. She's not upset , understanding the situation. Though we went to Goa to meet her and Shreyansh bhai ..

Sometimes I think that everything got ruined between him and his family because of me. But no! They have never treated Abir as a priority, they just wanted to nurture him according to their wish. I have told Abir to talk with his mom, at initial days he tried also. But aunty never talked with him. Her ego matters to her.

Before I met him, atleast his bonding with aunty was good, but now it's not there even. Abir had totally moved on, he just wanted to live his life, without any guilt and bitterness. He had apologized to his family, they didn't forgive him, it's their choice and he's happy with it.

My mom gets sad about it, because she has seen how much Abir loves his mom. But sometimes things doesn't work in our favour and it's completely okay. I did what I could do, but I will never ever down my head in front of people who insulted my mom or threatened me to harm my mom.

She's my pride and I will never let her down no matter what! Even Abir never told me to apologize them. I am grateful for that!

We built our house together and now it will be our home.. And today is a very special day for us. It's our wedding day. The day we have been waiting from last three years. It took us three years to build our home, we gave our blood and sweats to this house. Of course Nikhil and Drish too. The fact that my best friend and I will stay in one house after marriage, it's making me happy and excited..

"You are looking beautiful mam! " my make up artist said, I smiled at her. She left the room, I looked at myself on the mirror.. I had tears in my eyes, it's happy tears. I was happy that I don't have to leave my mom after our marriage, I will always be grateful to Abir for making things easier for me.

I was feeling excited imagining Abir's reaction after seeing me.. "Oh My God! " Drish whispered, I turned towards her, she started jumping.. "Aunty , look at your daughter! " she screamed at the top of her voice, Mom came running to me.. And her jaw dropped, she just stared at me for next few seconds.. Tears gathered in her eyes..

She squeezed my cheeks and hugged me. She started crying, I rubbed her back. "Your daughter is staying here after her marriage, you should not be crying, right? " I said, she chuckled and parted away.. She put her kajal on the side of my neck and smiled at me. "How I wish you to have a perfect family, I could not nurture you in a family, but I am glad that you are having your own family, " she expressed with teary eyes..

"And who told you I didn't have a family? You were there for me every time. I don't need many people around me, I just need one people who loves me unconditionally. You never made me feel like I don't have a family, you were and will always be enough for me ! " I said, "I must have done something great so that I got you as my daughter in this lifetime! You are the best daughter in this world, " she kissed on my forehead..

"You guys are too emotional! " Drish made a poker face, we mother daughter duo giggled and pulled her into our hug. She's been there with us, had seen our ups and downs. People might think me unlucky, but I was always surrounded by the most honest and selfless person around me.. Be it mom or Drish or Abir.. I am blessed with the best ones.

I walked down the aisle, my mom walking beside me.. Abir turned his face towards me,  automatically a smile appeared on his lips. His eyes were expressing more than any words could ever.. "Oh My Freaking God! " he whispered under his breath, he didn't even wait for me to reach there.. Rather he walked to me, I stopped walking as he took me in a hug..

He was looking breathtaking, he placed a kiss on my cheek before breaking our hug. "You are looking pretty, extremely pretty ! " he whispered and again went back to his place.. I looked down and smiled while walking towards him.. He held my hand and we both stood before the altar. We took our vows and promises as the Priest instructed..

"I, Abir Rajvansh, take you, Mishti Agarwal, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until parted by death. "

"I, Mishti Agarwal , take you, Abir Rajvansh, to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until parted by death. "

"Now exchange your ring! "

He inserted the ring around my finger first then I did. We raised our hand together and showed everyone our rings and posed for a picture..

"You may now kiss each other! " the Priest hasn't even finished saying, I felt Abir locking his lips with mine.. The surrounding became crowded with cheering and shouting.. He interlocked our hands and parted away, "Sir can you kiss again, we need to click the picture from another angle! " the photographer insisted, Abir had a winning smile on his lips..

He came forward, this time he held me in a more romantic way. His hand wrapped around my lower waist, he held the back of my nape and leaned forward to kiss me.. "My mom is watching, " I whispered, "It's the photographer who told me to kiss you, I am just obeying them! " he said, before sealing our lips together, again! I curled my fingers around his jacket, melting into the kiss..

"Sir, done! " the photographer announced, he groaned silently and stepped back, I glared at him.. Everyone congratulated us.. Mom came and hugged both of us..

"Thank you everyone for coming here and joining us on our special day. Please have your lunch! " Abir announced in the mic.. Some were coming to us, after giving blessings and gifts we clicked pictures..

"I didn't know my brother was this romantic! " I turned back to see Aradhya di and Shreyansh bhai.. I couldn't be happier, so I hugged her.. She handed me a gift, "Oh My God, you are here.. When did you come? You should have come earlier na, you missed our wedding! " I showed my disappointment, she hit my shoulder.. "Calm down, I was there from the very beginning. You were busy admiring my brother, so you didn't notice me! "

Abir laughed throwing his head back, I became embarrassed, my cheeks got red.. I glared at him.. "It's okay, no need to be embarrassed.. After all it's your day, both of your focuses should be on each other, not on the guest.. You guys are looking great together! " she was overwhelmed, so I hugged her again.. "Maa has sent something for you, " Aradhya di forwarded a gift box , I was numb..

"Sorry I can't receive it.. Her presence would have been the best gift for us.. Her blessing would have enough, I don't want any gift! " I pushed it back, she pouted.. Abir looked at the other side. Honestly we had called them together and told about our marriage, we got a silent response. They are still holding grudges after three years, so it's upon them..

"God bless you both, now let's click a picture! " Shreyansh bhai pulled us close and we clicked several pictures together..

"Attention everyone! I request the newly wed couple to come to the middle and dance together! " Drish announced, "Please one dance! " Nikhil added.. We both happily went to the center, they played a soft slow motion song.. We had danced together a lot of time before, so it didn't take us a lot of effort to match our step.. Moreover we were enjoying ourselves and just living the moment..

I bent back and Abir held me from my waist.. Our dance was supposed to end there, but again Abir kissed my lips, making my eyes widened.. The photographer clicked our pictures..

People started shouting for us again and I had become all red.. We both stood up, I glared at him.. "I will kill you once everyone leaves! " I muttered, he pulled me onto his chest, twisting my hand and placing it on my back.. My breath hitched, "Once we will be alone, I make sure you don't live a second without me. Tonight is going to be longer and the best night for us! " he smirked, I looked down and tried to not blush, but damn!

These cheeks always get red.. He left my hand, we went to the altar and sat down.. After some time we had our food together.. We had arranged a party tonight and for that we will change our outfit as well.. As the guests left, we headed to our new house. We had the house puja last week. From today we will start living here..

We four looked at our house, my eyes automatically filled with tears. Our hard work, dedication, everything was worth it.. "You both stay there! " Nikhil and Drish went inside and came with an arti thali and a pot filled with rice.. They welcomed me like an in-law family usually does , I was overwhelmed.. I left my footprint and came inside.. All the petals fell upon us..

"One picture! " Nikhil kept the tripod stand and they both stood beside us.. We four clicked a picture together, "We will keep the frame there in the center, and after a year another frame will be attached to it! " Drish said excitedly, I hugged her.. They both will get married next year..

"Now you both, please go and change.. Don't get late for the party! " he said, I nodded and went to our room.. Abir had already kept the outfit on the bed.. Before I could go, Abir pulled me holding my hand, I crashed against his chest.. "What are you doing, we will be late! " I whispered, he pushed me against the wall and caged my hand.. " I don't care, " he said and removed the veil from my head followed by the transparent embroidery coat I was wearing above my gown.. I could feel my heart beat in my throat..

He pulled me close to him, I leaned forward and we kissed each other again.. His hand travelled to my back and slowly he pulled down the chain, making the upper part of the gown loose.. He broke our kiss and buried his head in the crook of my neck, leaving feathery kisses there.. I fisted my fingers around his coat, he brushed his fingers on my back.. I felt goosebumps all over my body..

I pushed him a little and made some distance.. "We are getting late, now leave me! " I walked beside him, he again pulled me and hugged me from my back.. "From the last three years you are just running away from me, not today! " he muttered and nuzzled his face on my nape.. I smiled and looked at him.. "I won't, wait for tonight, " I whispered, his eyes twinkled in happiness and he let me go.. I couldn't help but ended up blushing, his eyes always do the magic..

I went to the washroom and freshened up.. Abir always respected my decision and never crossed his boundary. No doubt I got a gem in my life.. I wore a full length bodycon dress.. I got out of the washroom, and Abir was waiting outside.. "Uff! You have already planned to kill me! " he complained, I pushed him to the washroom and did my hair and make up..

We both entered the venue, all our friends and colleagues were already there.. It's a cocktail party..

First we cut our cake and fed each other..

Everyone started dancing on the floor, some were having their drinks and some were food, some were clicking pictures.. We both moved aside and did our slow motion dance..

"Congratulations, Mrs Rajvansh! " he whispered in my ear, I placed my head above his heart and closed my eyes.. We were just moving our bodies together and enjoying ourselves. "You are the best thing that happened to me! " I whispered, even after such a hectic day I was not feeling tired.. I was just enjoying and laughing.. All thanks to him..

"I hope we will support each other in every thick and thin ! " he mumbled, "Of course we will! " I smiled..

And from today a beautiful fairytale started.. I got my home in a person.. My soul mate!
