He seemed quiet for a second before we looked over to see the large man that's been harassing my nephew, catch Alex setting up his next clue for his parents.

I widen my eyes and go to help Alex, but was stopped and pulled to Imhotep's side as he looked up, telling the man to let go of Alex in English luckily, but he didn't look at them. I followed his eyes to see a blimp.

"Aha!" I laugh excited that Rick and whoever he was with were so close.

But the next thing I knew was the bruising grip holding me to Imhotep grew making me wince as he started doing something and the water started to climb.

"No!" Alex yelled as he watched as well.

"Stop, don't do it." I begged as I watched, not caring that Imhotep's grip was hurting me. "Please Imhotep, don't hurt him." I said, but I shouldn't have said it like that, as a flash of jealousy was seen in his eyes and the wall of water rushed after the now running away blimp.

I stared after it in shock, the water now to my ankles showing the world my underwear again.

When Imhotep stopped he put my dress back on me after I was to busy being in shock.

"Why?" I whispered a bit hurt.

"Cause you are mine." He said bringing me closer to him, tears in my eyes, I looked to the ground not showing him my weakness right now.

"I am no one's, not yours, not anyone's." I said softly, my hurt aching to know if Rick survived.

I felt a hand under my chin lift my face and again I was staring into those eyes. "Why do you like that man so!?" He growled.

I laughed bitterly. "Because, he was my family, he was my brother. The only man I'd ever let take care of me, tell me everything's going to be alright, and give me a home to go too." I said not caring if my tears fell. "Again, Obsession." I said and walked over to Alex, not listening to any words that Imhotep tried to say.

He was a stubborn headed bull. The only thing he can do now is go to the Anck su namun replica. She seemed to love him and he liked that. That oaf.

"They're okay right?" Alex asked as he put his face into my stomach.

"Of course, the O'Connells are indestructible." I told him as I looked off down the river. Hoping to all the forces out there that they were.

Rick's POV

We all got ready to get my son back aiming below at the bunch of red dressed men, seeing the alive and fully fleshed Imhotep with that crazy lady beside him, but my eyes landed on Alex and sighed in relief. Until I saw who was with them.

"Oh great..." I said making Ardeth look over to where I was looking and his eyes widened. So did Evie and John's as they looked over next.

"Is that...?" John asked as he stared at the one and Only Lotus.

I sighed. "I knew it was to good to be true to think she wasn't there and Miraac." I said as I watched her glare at some man as he tried to get closer to Alex.

"Let's countinue with the plan." Ardeth says. "But this time, grab both of them."

I nodded and we started off and shots could be heard firing as I did to as well. Soon I was running down wards as weird little creatures started attacking people left and right. I was running straight for Alex and Lotus as I watched them try to escape within the chaos.

I grabbed them, throwing them over my shoulder which they screamed in surprise.

"Rick!" Lotus said happily.

"Dad!" Alex said when he stopped screaming. "Uh oh, dad!" He yelled this time and I looked over and saw we were being chased by the tiny tiki. I was able to shoot it and Alex cheered.

Soon we were done being chased and I set them down, a bit winded.

"Rick." Lotus said as she hugged me close.

"Thank you for watching over Alex." I told her. Leaving out the part we didn't know she was even with him till just awhile ago.

She waved me off. "No prob. Can't help but get wrapped up with you guys." She told me.

"Let's go home." I said as I turned to head the way we'd meet up with the others, but was stopped by Lotus and Alex.

"We can't. Not until we get the bracelet off or I'll die in a week!" Alex said.

"Okay, we don't haft to ru-" I was interrupted.

"He can't Rick, cause today at sunrise is his last day." Lotus told me seriously her face concerned.

My heart stopping at what she said.

Lotus's POV

We all looked to the ground as the sun started to cover the greenery, coming closer to us.

Rick picked up Alex and started hightailing it out to the pyramid that was close by, I was running behind him.

"Faster Rick!!" I yelled and we did so. Trying hard to race against time.

We were so close now and I saw Rick sprint with one big last push and then slid into the shade of the pyramid where the bracelet clicked and Alex quickly took it off and threw it away.

I sighed softly as I stopped, seeing Alex and Rick okay.

"NOOO!" Rick suddenly yelled as he got up and rushed forwards, making me turn to watch as Evie fell after Anck-sa namun pulled her dagger out smirking at her.

"No, no no no!" I said as I ran to go help, but was caught swiftly and pulled over Imhotep's shoulder watching as the bitch, who stabbed me in her mummification, and who just stabbed my best friend.

She was going to die. By my own hands, or by fate today.
