I was drinking some water as I watched the black pool stay as still as the first time I layed eyes on it, the wind didn't seem to effect it at all. This water thing is strange.

I pulled up my journal writing a few notes down then as I set it down, I could hear gunshots and a familiar cry of a boy.

Then suddenly I was tripped over by a familiar tuff of blonde hair.

"Alex?" I asked standing up and helping him.

"Aunt Lotus! Run!" He goes to run but just as quickly as he tried his arm went up and it started showing images through Egypt.

The bracelet of Anubis. That's what it was, that's why it was familiar.

"Alex!? Why do you have that on you?!" I screamed as I tried to take it off him.

"It won't come off!!" He says as he tries to help.

"Ugh, why do you have to be a child!?"

"Cause I am one!"

I yelped as I was suddenly in the air beside Alex, And in front of Imhotep. In his human form.

"Great...." I said as I glared down at the man who was smirking at us.

I yanked at the chain of Alex's cuffs. Trying to find a way to get him free.

"Hey! What do you think your doing!?" Yelled a big muscled black guy, in red garbs.

"What? You expect us to just sit here and be good little prisoners?" I asked folding my arms and glaring down at the taller male.

He growled.

"Hey! Where is my water!?" Alex yelled at the man bravely.

The man took a step forward menacingly towards Alex but he showed his bracelet and it made the man stop to growl again. What is he, some sort of animal.

"Here." He growled again throwing pitcher into Alex.

"Looky here bud, don't you dare hurt my nephew unless you want to be mummified alive, I can do it without the proper tools too." I said pulling the guy closer to me with a my own glare that outmatched his.

He huffed pulling away, before unlocking my cuffs. "The master wants to see you." He says grabbing my wrist tightly and dragged me away from Alex who watched wide eyed.

I glared at Imhotep in front of me as he smiled and took me away from the growling animal of a man.

"Hello my flower. Miss me?" He asked putting an arm around my lower back. Pulling me in as much as he could. What is with the pulling me in?

I sighed. "It's better then doing the long distance thing really, but at the same time, I don't think I missed you much." I said smirking up at him as he frowned down at me.

I reached up putting my hand close to his bald head feeling the smoothness of it as I set it down. I sighed bringing my hand back and looking away from him.

He lifted hi other hand to make me look at him again. "What is wrong?"

"Why do you have to have the world? Why do you have to do any of this?" I asked, a question I've been craving an answer for, for a decade.

"Because it all for me and you to be together happily." He said looking confused.

I rolled my eyes. "Imhotep..." I started putting my hand on his face. "I'm not a preistess in this life. I am a orphaned girl, with a family you've put in danger. I am a woman that is independent and has everything she needs but the man that is trying to get more things for her when all she needs is just you." I said blushing a bit as I countinued to look into his blue eyes, more greyer then mine.

He still looked confused as he looked down at me. "But..."

I shook my head and slipped out of his arms at his moment of confusion, and walked my way back to Alex.

I watched the night sky as it twinkles with thousands of stars.

I looked to my side as felt Alex snuggle closer to my warmth. Thinking of how this would all turn out.

Last time I almost died. Many people died during that and I was lucky to survive.

I wish, and hope not. At least not my own family.

I sighed and closed my eyes keeping Alex close to me, hoping that Rick knew where we were.
