I put my assignment code in and it automatically starts to go down to the council chambers. I look down at my covered hands and though you couldn't physically see the blood. I could feel it drenching my hands and never washing off. It has been so long since I have actually been covered in blood but I still feel it there. I've risen so much since I started, that little weak girl who was a good spy but her innocence held her back.
I walk down the hall my heeled boots not making a noise as I walk, the whole building practically silent. But I'm used to t as we are taught not to make a sound, there was probably hundreds of people in this building but you would never be able to tell.
I walk down the long corridor as I make it to the council chambers door. I press a button and the door swings open quickly but quietly it's old oak look a distraction from the reality of what lies behind it.

I walk into the middle of the room and even through the darkness count 14 people in this room. I look straight ahead to the seven council members and bow deeply. I walk forward and place a ring on the desk, this ring was a bright gold colour it was simple and to the point. It was the mark of the King of the old settlement a ring that had been passed through the generations of kings. The last being King Gerard, the greedy bastard deserved so much more than the easy death I gave him.

"Here is the ring, the seal of a king and the last line of kings from the old settlement." I announce to the council even though I know that they already have this information. My face is completely emotionless as I feel a blade press into my back. I stay still knowing the drill as I feel other person come up from behind me and start to check if I am wired. They check and notice I am completely wire free before the head of the council speaks. "You have done well, 100,000,000 credits will be transferred into your account and your next assignment has been approved. You will be travelling to the modern lands of Shedor for your next mission. Your targets number is 704286 and their identity is Bain Gendear. He is the leader of a crime gang who sells women as slaves. Your assignment is termination." The council master speaks in her clear powerful voice.

I nod my head and turn my wrist up revealing a keyboard imprinted on my skin. I delete the previous mission details and replace them with my current. The details going straight into my brain as I close my eyes getting another feed pop up. It was the official report of the mission I download it and read the finer details.
I open back up my eyes and stare at the council ladies replying to them in an emotionless tone. "I accept the mission and all consequences of non competition." I turn on my heels and face the door. I walk out the room and down the long hall way to the elevator where I put in the new assignment code. It does my bring me back to my car but instead to the assignment layer where we go when preparing for a assignment.

This has been my life for many years and I dare say the majority of my life. I wouldn't say I am very old as I'm only 18 years of age but the amount of experience I have gone through makes up for the lack of age.
I walk out of the elevator and my eyes automatically fall onto my partner ghost. I walk up to her and give her a big cheesy smile. My pearly whites gleaming in the unnatural light of the bright white lights above.

Ok another short chapter. I'm so sorry about the short chapters but I'm so happy that I've started to write again.
