He couldn't do it. He couldn't even think of something like this.

That's what Damon thought to himself. He never doubted himself like this but he knew he couldn't do it. He had made a horrible deal with Klaus.

A deal so horrible that Kylie had to be kept in a different room just so she couldn't hear it.

When Klaus stated his offer, Damon refused immediately, so he bit him. If he completed the deal, he would have the antidote to getting him all happy and nice again. There was just no choice anymore.

"Hey Ky. would you come in here for a second?" Damon called her to his room.

As he heard the faint light steps coming from the hallway, he never wish she was here, he wished she was safe and sound from all of this.

"Whats up Day-Day?" She said with a bright smile giggling.

They both had the cutest nicknames for each other which we're adorable. her smile could brighten up any persons smile but today for Damon, it wasn't a day to be smiling about.

"Hey." He responded back plainly, no enthusiasm, no smile back.

Something's wrong, Damon wasn't usually, this....quiet.

"hey you okay?" Kylie asked him troubled and worried as she raised her eyebrows. He was sitting on the bed and sighed deeply.

He bowed his hand down and didn't say anything.

She sat down next to him close. She had a ribbed crop top on with black Adidas jogger sweatpants, with her hair in a messy bun and her baby hair sticking out as she wore my socks because she always called them "warm and pretty". those thoughts made me laugh. She was so adorable. I couldn't tell her this.

It would break her. I grew weak at how she noticed my sadness so quickly. Damon thought to himself as Kylie only raised his eyebrows.

"Did those Hybrids hurt you when they took you away from Klaus and I?" Damon asked softly as he wasted time and examined her so may features.

How her hair flawlessly fell on her shoulders, how her eyes sometimes turned Elena's pure brown eye color when she got angry and how it was the natural Golden light caramel when she was smiling.

And how she had a dimple under her eyes when she cried. "No." She answered cautiously as she told Damon.

"I think Elijah or Kol compelled me to forget. It worked but their really weak now. They can't even breathe right." Kylie said smirking a little bit.

Damon shut his eyes in pain as he lowered his head and brushed through his hair. Kylie clearly knew something was wrong.

"Damon, I know something is wrong. You know you can tell me anything right?!" Kylie asked holding his hand trying to make contact with his eyes.

"Kylie there is something I have to do, but I really really don't want to do it." He told her scaring her.

"OK...what is it?" Kylie said uneasily and worried still holding his hand.

"The reason what I'm about to do is because I got bitten....and it's...a fatal bite." Damon said as Kylie jumped in horror.

"For goodness sake Damon, who did this to you?" Kylie jumped angrily.

"I wish I could tell you, but then you would hate him already more than you do now, and you need him by your side...because then it'll -be unforgivable."

Damon said calming her. "HOW COULD KLAUS BITE YOU? HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO YOU? HOW COULD HE?!!!" Kylie yelled out burrowing her eyebrows furiously.

"Kylie." Damon said finally getting her attention at once. "Kylie....you can't hate him." Damon whispered.

"Why not? Didn't you want me to a few days ago?!" Kylie said.

"Yeah, but not now because he'll Be the only one that could protect you." Damon said as Kylie was tearing up and crying from the sight of seeing Damon's bite that was red and sore and spreading.

"And how do you know that Damon huh? How!" Kylie yelled.

"Because he's in love with you Kylie! And your in love with him too and you know it!" Damon answered so quickly.

Kylie didn't believe it. She never thought that in a million years, that Damon would admit something he hated to believe or even think about it.

She could see the hurt in his eyes. He picked her up from the floor. He wiped her tears with his thumbs and caressed Her hair and looked deeply in her eyes. "Damon you know you can't,-"

"Whatever happens, and after all this is over, no matter what happens, if you both fall in love with each other and live a happy life together, or you never ever forgive me, just know that I will never stop loving you....ever."

he shushed her so he could continue as a tear shed from his big blue pupils and dilated to her big golden ones so the compulsion trance could block everything coming into Kylie's mind.

He held her hands and kissed her in the cheek.

"I need you to remember all the things you've been compelled to forget. I want you to know that you are special Kylie, and don't you forget it. When you wake up, I love you Kylie, and I'll never stop." Damon said all this without one tear not draining down on his cheek as he was gone in a flash.

Then it all flooded back at once. Everything that she was ever compelled to forget.

When she was compelled to forget the pain she felt on her parents death.

When she was compelled to forget that weird wolf she saw in the bushes one time when she was 6.

When she was compelled to forget when Kol tried to kill her two times.

When she was compelled to forget that the first time she stepped in mystic falls.....Damon had been the one to feed on her and Klaus was the one that came to the rescue.

All the lies, all the pain, it was more than she could handle.

But now she only wanted to find one person, and one person only. KLAUS.
