I ran downstairs thinking I'd find everyone waiting for me. But instead, there was a caramel colored girl with curly hair sitting on the couch.

"Uh hi sorry do you know where's Damon?" I asked her she raised her eyebrow.

"Black hair, baby blue eyes, overprotective dickish attitude?" I asked and she nodded smiling.

"Yup ah that's the one. I don't know, he wasn't here when I came" she told me and that got me confused as hell.

"Anyways, I'm Elena's cousin, Kylie" I told her and she smiled.

"Bonnie, the best friend" she said and we both gave each other an 'I heard about you before look'.

"Your the famous Kylie everyone's been talking about, you know your really starting to get popular around here" she told me as I smiled.

"Stefan and Damon says that I'm a 'special human' " I told her walking to the kitchen as we both started laughing.

"So... are you like them?" I asked her.

"Like who?" She said looking confused.

" Like , everyone else...their not human" I told her.

"Oh no, I'm not like them." She said as I sighed in relief.

"But I'm not close to normal either" she told me as my heart skipped a beat. I started backing away.

"OK so what are you?" I asked her.

"I won't hurt you" she told me as I remembered Klaus telling me that, I couldn't trust anybody these days.

"I-I am a witch" she said I was serious for a second and then I started laughing.

"A freaking witch? Cmon, what's next werewolves? "

I asked crossing my arms. Bonnie blushed.

"I mean, do you.... want me to prove it?" She asked me.

"Sure why not?" I said. She asked me to bring three candles which I stole from Stefan's room.

He's gonna be so mad. "OK promise not to freak?" She asked. I nodded. Bonnie breathed in and out then closed her eyes.

I still kept my distance. The candles lit with fire, then it took a couple of seconds but the fire took place from the candles then it started to ignite from her palm of her hand.

I had that opened mouth stare at so much surprise and shock. Bonnie laughed to my reaction.

"To be honest, your the coolest supernatural I've seen" I told her as both of us hugged and laughed.

"Yeah Elena, we have to go" Damon's voice said coming out of nowhere.

I couldn't believe I was actually leaving mystic falls with Elena. I grunted.

"Wait, slow down, she didn't even spend a week here and yet she's leaving in a hurry? couldn't she at least give everyone their proper goodbyes?" Bonnie said giving a pouty face.

I knew Damon was about to saw no because he thought he was doing the "right thing" by "protecting" me until he saw my pleading hazel eyes.

"Ugh fine, but as soon as the clock hits 8pm, that's it. You arrange the gathering" Damon said leaving the kitchen leaving me surprised by his answer.

"His ass grew" Bonnie stated as she picked up a grape and popped it into her mouth.I snorted while laughing to what she said.

"You know I have like, incredible superhearing right?" Damon yelled from upstairs.

As Bonnie and I laughed nonstop. The party was such a huge success (the pic that starts the chapter ) I met Tyler, and Matt, and bubbly Caroline, Alarick, I hugged and talked to Jeremy, Jenna would not let go of me.

Too bad when the clock hit 7:45, Damon and Stefan dragged me and elena right before we even ate stefans famous chocolate cake, which looked so good.

I couldn't let go of Bonnie, so Damon put me on top of his shoulder, all the way to the door. I didn't know if I knew the salvatores that much to give them goodbye hugs but when I saw Stefan reach his hands wide open and give a fake baby pouty face, I couldn't resist.

Then out of nowhere, damon being Damon dragged me to the corner, "Damon, don't " I told him as I warned him not to kiss me again.

"What? no, I just want to tell you, that Elena, she's a big girl now and -"

" just say it Damon vampire. " I told him cutting him off.

"She's a vampire and she can protect herself more than you can, your all alone out there, if anything happens you run and you don't stop you understand? " he told seriously.

"Damon",- "

"No Kylie do you understand?" He asked me raising his voice.

"Whatever, yes, fine Damon" I told him as I snatched my hands out of his soft grasp, pulling my suitcase out of the door. We said a final goodbye to everyone while Stefan helped put our suitcases in the trunk.

We drove onto the road, Elena driving. "Listen Kylie, I don't want things to be like this between us. You can't be mad at me forever you know" she said looking at me in the backseat.

"Honestly, I can forgive Damon and Stefan but you.. we we're so close Elena, we did everything, and you just lied to me" I told her.

"What do you expect me to say Kylie? That I'm a vampire? I wanted to protect you" she told me.

"Thats what everyone wants to do, protect me huh? I'm 17, I can take care of myself, moms dead, dads dead, ever since last year, I've learned to handle myself. You think your protecting me, but I don't think you've done a great job doing that. Your lover boys have to protect yourself for you " I told her.

"Kylie- "

Suddenly, in the middle of the road, there was someone in the road then we did another stupid repetitive thing, we swerved.

Lesson: DONT SWERVE
