I  passed the Mystic Falls welcome sign as I was thinking about which way I should go driving up to Elena's house, my cousin.

 It was 10:55 Pm and  I had already 3 missed calls from Elena. Finally, I decided to pick up.

"Elena I beg of you please stop calling me, your wasting my battery."

I told her as I remembered to keep an eye on the road.

"WHAT THE HELL KYLIE! ANSWER THE PHONE FOR ONCE?" Elena yelled with fury in her voice.

"Jeez, would you calm down? I'm on the road, and plus, I forgot  your adre-".

Suddenly, a man was mysteriously in the middle of the road, and then I did the stupidest thing. I swerved.
