Engene stared at the manor as it was in flames. Beside her stood the princes as they watched many of the humans trapped inside scream. "You won't save those people ?" They were hiding in the forest shadows as countless humans still continued to throw torches & curse vampire kind. Jake snarled, "왜 우리는 몇몇 인간들을 위해 죽는 위험을 감수해야 합니까? 절대 아니에요." (Why would we risk dying for some humans ? I certainly won't.)

Engene knew this was a useless argument. No matter how long she's know the vampire royalty, their stance on humanity has never faltered. However, she still was human. She couldn't turn her back while innocent people died, right ? Jay knew exactly what she was thinking. "Don't you dare !" Engene gave a teary eyed smile, "I must. This is the only way to potentially save people & show you not all humans wish harm upon you."

Without waiting to hear what they had to say, Engene rushed into the fiery manner. She began to cough as smoke & ash filled her lungs while she searched for people to help. The first person she came across was her aunt. "Help ! Help me !" Lady Jung practically begged as the other section of the house erupted in more flames. Engene wouldn't have access to any other person. 

"도와 드릴까요? 이제 왜 내가 당신을 도울 거라고 생각하죠?" (Help you ? Now why would you think I would help you ?) She was still festering a huge amount of distrust since she learned her aunt willingly lived as a servant under the princes, & for knowing how vampires felt about humanity. Her aunt cough as the spot where she was still had enough space Engene could get to her. "You are still angry about my decisions ? I had done nothing but warn you." This much was true. Lady Jung had warned her niece immensely before Engene decided to "rescue" her from the princes. 

"I am enraged. I refuse to help you." Lady Jung rolled her eyes. The smoke & ash filling the room was making them equally weak. This was not the time to be overly emotional. The roof soon collapsed in, trapping Engene. 

It wasn't long before her vision was getting hazy. Engene was extremely weak. Her eyes began to slowly close. Heeseung had rushed in & picked up an unconscious Engene. His red eyes were teary. "너 정신 나갔어요?우리가 당신을 여기에 남겨두면 당신은 살아남지 못할 거예요..." (Are you fucking crazy ?You wouldn't survive if we left you here...) For the first time in a few millennia, Heeseung had began to care for a human. Only one human.  Surprising since he was the the vampire who enjoyed tricking her when they first met.

He could hear her faint heartbeat as he carried her out of the burning manor. Engene was dying. A second longer inhaling all that ash she'd be a complete goner. He met up with the others in the woods. Jake looked at Engene' state. "She won't survive with how far we plan to travel. So there is three options for us. Take Engene with us & risk her death, leave her here to die, or we drop her at a hospital..."

Heeseung looked down at Engene' face. "What if someone turns her ?" He looked at the faces of the other princes. Their decision would impact everything for vampires as a whole. Sunoo knew Heeseung best. So he knew the question wasn't asked lightly, "투표합시다." (Lets take a vote.)

It was simply an accept or refuse kind of question. Sunoo was first to give his answer. Which he accepts. Jake reluctantly muttered, "I accept." Sunghoon agreed as well. Jungwon & Ni-Ki collectively answered with a unanimous acceptance. This left Jay who was very much against the idea. The was no knowing how Engene could react to the transformation. "거절해요 그것은 시간낭비예요. 저는 이것이 우리가 시작했던 곳에서 우리를 끝낼 수 있다고 강하게 느낍니다. 외롭고 피에 굶주려 있어요." (I refuse. It is a waste of time. I strongly feel this could end us where we started. Alone and bloodthirsty.) 

Jay, however was the only odd vote. Everyone plus Heeseung had agreed that turning Engene was the best decision to save her at the moment. Heeseung laid Engene in the grass & sunk his fangs into her neck. When she awakens...she'll be a vampire.
