Lady Jung was the royal vampire caregiver. She watched over the princes & took care of the royal house. Was she a vampire as well ? No. Lady Jung was a full blooded human surrounded by vampires. She sat with her niece, Engene. "고모님, 좀처럼 뵙지 못하겠어요. 나한테 말하지 않은 게 뭐죠?" (I rarely get to see you, Auntie. What aren't you telling me ?) Lady Jung sighed exhaustedly. Was her niece finally ready to learn the whole truth ? 

"I can't afford losing my job, Engene. It is crucial we survive." The princes were just as you'd think when you'd hear about vampires or any monster. They were the last thing you'd want to disrespect or upset. "This is about survival ? Why ? Is your boss working you too much ?" Anyone would be worried with what Lady Jung had just said to her niece. She gave a strained smile, "아뇨, 전혀요. 지금 제가 일하는 곳에는 가까이 오지 말아주세요." (Not at all. Just I need you to stay away from where I work now on.)

Engene frequently visited her aunt given she didn't have the best relationship with her parents. "What is going on ? This doesn't sound like you at all. Are you in danger ?" Lady Jung continued to smile, but her eyes said everything. She feared one of the princes could be listening in on their conversation. "Engene, can you just trust me on this ? I don't want anything to happen." She was trying to warn her niece, but it was the wrong move. Lady Jung wasn't exactly telling her why she should be wary & what she needed to be careful of. "저는 좀 더 머물 생각입니다. 당신 상사와 얘기해 보세요. 감기라도 걸리신 것 같아서 걱정이에요." (I think I will stay a while. Maybe talk with your boss. I am worried you are catching a cold or something.)

It was already too late. Lady Jung bowed as soon as Jake entered her sight. "What is this, Lady Jung ?" His demeanor was elegant & lethal. there was nothing that seemed normal about Jake. "My niece was just checking up on me, Your Highness." He was still a prince after all. Engene looked on confused ? A prince ? He did not seem to fit the modern style of  prince. "Is that so ?" Lady Jung knew all too well to tread carefully. "Can you release my aunt ? This is all I want." 

Jake smirked manically, "내가 왜 그렇게 하겠어요? 정 여사는 당신이 이 집에 발을 들여놓자마자 더 이상 위험하지 않아요." (Why would I agree to that ? Lady Jung is in no more danger than you are the second you set foot in this house.) Engene rose from her seat angrily. "What does that mean ? Release my aunt !" Jake rolled his eyes. He really didn't want to be a pain. "Lady Jung, I suggest you enact protocol before I do it for you."

Lady Jung tearfully walked to her niece. He grasped her shoulders. "You need to calm down, Engene. Now isn't the time." Engene looked into her aunt' eyes. She whispered, "Why are you defending him ? He practically threatened me. What is going on ?" Lady Jung turned to Jake. "I will escort her out, Your Highness. No need to worry yourself." 

Jake stared as Lady Jung lead Engene out. "Never return here, Engene. It isn't safe for you." Her niece barely got to say anything before the door closed. This wouldn't be the last time she interacted with the princes...
