Chapter three: David

Jungkook opened the door to the bookstore and the bell above the door ringed.

There was a strong tea like scent in the air and behind the counter sat an old man flipping through a book while drinking some tea.

Jungkook paid no attention to the man but to the new books on the shelves.

He grabbed a dark green book, the title was written in a gold like color and there where different markings all around it.

The name of the book was 'A natural history of dragons'

Of course, he knew that dragons did in fact not exist, but deep down he wished they did, he still had a big interest in them.

If his mum and dad found out about his reading about mythical creatures he would be banned from the library.

Jungkook put the book under his arm and took another one.

'Fangs' were the only thing written.

The book looked quite old too.

After grabbing about six more books Jungkook walked up to the old man to pay for all of the books.

"Hello.." Jungkook placed the books on top of the counter and the old man lifted his head up from the book.

He sent Jungkook a smile "Hello there young man," he liked at the books and smiled wider "Wow what a lot of books you got there, it's good to see that the kids still read, all of my grandchildren only play with the toys they get from the market. Like dolls, teddy bears and some other stuff,  they never sit down to read a book of some sort."

Jungkook nodded, not sure what he was going to answer.

" Well young man, you have a great day reading all of these books and hope I will see you again then." He handed Jungkook the books, one by one and went back to reading his book.

Jungkook hurried outside of the shop, having to find his butler somewhere in the crowd.

"Excuse me!" He yelled as he pushed through the crowd, slowly losing his patience.

A lady with a big hip dress that took up all of the roads he needed to pass and she was walking slowly while talking to a maid.

Jungkook tapped his foot against the ground "Miss can you perhaps move-"

"Oh shush your mouth!" She turned around angrily and glared at him "Young people don't have any manners!" She spits in his face.

Jungkook blinked slowly "I was going to ask nicely if you could move out of the way so I could get home." He pointed at the mansion on the hill "Because I don't think my father would like me to be late for lunch."

The lady's eyes winded "Sorry son of Jeon I didn't know-"

"Just because you didn't know who I am, don't give you the right to yell at people who nicely asks you to move out of the way!" Jungkook began walking "Now if you ExCuSe me, I have to go."

Jungkook couldn't believe himself that he had used the 'father' card.

He had seen his sisters use it nearly all the time but had never done it himself.

Shaking his head he began the quest again to find Hoseok.

Just as he passed an alleyway, a hand grabbed his shoulder and yanked him into the dark making him drop all of his books and a horse wagon came rushing past him.

He gasped in shock "My books!"  He watched as all of the books experience a near-death experience.

Jungkook was about to rush out o grab them but the same person stopped him just as some angry baker came running with a rolling pin in the air.

The Jeon cringed as the books got stomped on.

"My books..." he muttered

"You seriously care more about your books than about your own life?" A male voice said from behind him, Jungkook turned around to lecture him about how books cost a lot of money and money was something you had to earn blablabla

Instead, Jungkook froze at the familiar sight of the brown hair male "You're- you're the red growling eyes boy."

"Uh yeah, that is probably Me?" Red glowing eyes boy said kinda confused with the nickname he had gotten "Well forget about my eyes. Just forget me completely." He was about to walk away but this time it was Jungkook who stopped him.

"Thanks for uh saving me from not getting trampled down by a horse. "

"No problem."

"Can I at least-"

"No." Red glowing eyes boy said

"Hey! I didn't even finish my sentence!" Jungkook complained "I'm Jungkook! Now say your name damn it!"

"Why do you want to know my name and I know your name, everyone does." He said, getting annoyed by Jungkook's complaining.

"So I can call you something else other than red glowing eyes boy."

"Fine, I'm David," David said but Jungkook were 100 percent sure that the other was lying

"Your name is not David."

"Well too bad." David shrugged and began walking off again.

Jungkook sighed and went over to pick up his books from the dirty ground.

"I'm telling you Hoseok a vampire saved me."

Hoseok shook his head "No master, it was just an ordinary human being."

Jungkook sighed annoyed "Shush Hoseok, I don't even know why I told you about this I knew you wouldn't believe me." He walked faster to get to the mansion first.

Frustrated Jungkook stomped up the stairs to his room.

On the last step he managed to put his foot down in the wrong place, his shoe got caught in the edge of the red carpet, he lost his balance and fell face first into the floor.

Knocking himself out.

Jungkook slowly opened his eyes but closed them again. He rolled onto his side and hugged his pillow, facing the wall.

Carefully his touched his forehead but winced in pain immediately.

"Be careful." Someone said behind him.

"I'm okay Somin.." Jungkook spoke, his voice nearly above a whisper "Can you please get me some water?"

Somin hit him lightly on his shoulder "Am I your servant?"

"No but you're my older sister and it's your job to take care of me because I'm your younger brother," Jungkook said knowing that his sister would either go and get the water or smack him.

Somin sighed, wanting to hit him right now but since he was hurt she couldn't "I swear Jungkook when you get better I'm going to beat your ass."
