Waves pull us under

Yet we feel serenity within them

Filled with things so peaceful 

Yet things that will kill you

one more breathe in the water

and you are gone

lost away,

your soul fleeing  your body

There are always two sides of things

Sides you wish you have seen before

sides that would have helped you

 you wish you were under the waves

Drowning all your thoughts

 drifting with the wisk of the wind

finding peace

in the ever essence of the sea

oh how I wish I was free

free from all you

free from your judgements

oh how I wish I was who I am

not who I have become

with my past clinging to my back

I can't escape

please let me drown,

please let me go,

let me see the waves,

set me free

open the locks to my heart and soul

when all is done and I am finally free,

I'll have each memory engraved within me

scars all over my body

reminding me of my past

shaping my future,

the salty sea water

stinging each scar

reminding me, of everything.

tears of blood,

from too much heartache.

 what a sight it is.

oh, how the waves set me free.
