Renata Lockwood knew she was always destined to remain a small town girl. Considering that she is from one of the founding families of Mystic Falls, there was nothing for her outside of the small town her family resided in. Even her older brother seemed to have accepted that their future was locked in Mystic Falls.

However, Mystic Falls isn't just any small town. At least not since the Salvatore brothers moved into town causing supernatural chaos put all the Mystic Falls residents in danger. One of those residents being Renata herself who finds herself being a pawn in a game she can't even begin to understand. To her surprise Renata discovers that there is much more to her than being simply a small town girl.

Author's Note: Seems like I'm destined to write a story for any show or movie that I watch. Of course after rewatching the Vampire Diaries I would come up with a plot for a story so here were are. Anyway I'm officially making the Lockwoods Latino, the actor Michael Trevino is Mexican anyway so it only makes sense. I'm actually very excited to write this story as I just love writing vampires. I have my Twilight story but I think that the Vampire Diaries vampires are a little more fun considering that they actually have weakness and more lore to them.
