A SUMMARY OF "VICTORIOUS"

Ah, yes. The good 'ol days. If you can recall, there was once a time when King Jonah Ryder of the Western Province was a Prince. 20 years ago he hosted his own selection, pressured into the subject by his sick mother, Queen Talia Ryder.. Doubtful at first, Jonah went into the whole process expecting to get nothing out of it. 

Jonah's younger siblings were there to support him through the journey, having their fair share of drama as well. I'll spare you by not giving you all the details (if you're interested go check it out!). In summary, though, his sister Clarissa Ryder had fallen in love with a guard, his brother Lucas Ryder drifted away from his family, his sister Regan Ryder was struggling with the fact that she was questioning her sexuality, and his youngest sister Victoria - well, she was just focused on being a kid.

Although not exactly picture perfect, everything was going smoothly, and Jonah had found himself falling in love with one of the selected- until a rebel attack unfortunately shattered Jonah's world as he knew it.

Durring the attack, Prince Lucas Ryder passed away while protecting a foreign princess from an oncoming rebel. Just days after the attack, Queen Talia Ryder also passed away. The two recent passings left everyone in the palace shaken, and forced Jonah to mature.

Shortly after his mother and brother's passing, Jonah proclaimed his love for his current wife, Samantha Ryder. The lovebirds were married soon after the selection. 

What many did not think about, however, was the Italian Princess Doreen. Throughout the entire process of Prince Jonah's selection she had been trying and failing to win his heart. Seeing him chose another in the end left her heartbroken, and so she returned to Italy where she was betrothed to Prince Martin of France

And now, you are caught up!

SETUP FOR "BLOODLINES"

As you may know by now, the world has been divided into four provinces; the North, the South, the East and the West. Each province has their own respective rulers, but this roleplay will be taking place in the North Province. 

Rulers Doreen Bianchi-Martin, former royal of Italy, and Maximus Martin, former royal of France, have married, merging their countries into one. Their unity began with a rocky start, however, when Doreen soon revealed after their marriage that she was pregnant; and not with his baby.

Although the new Queen refused to reveal who the father of the child was, she still demanded that the child had a normal life, and to stay with her, as the baby was still her own. After many aggressive fights, King Maximus finally gave in and allowed the child to be raised as a bastard in the royal palace.

A few months later, Diego Bianchi was born.

After a while, the bastard child was soon forgotten by the king as he had his own children, the oldest of which was Prince Laurens Pierre Martin. For a while, all seemed almost normal. But that was then. This is now.

The world is on the brink of another disastrous war; Tensions between the North and the West, and destruction could become loose at any given moment. The South has taken the Westerner's side, while the East has formed an alliance with the Northerners.

This is why Doreen has created the selection; to restore peace to all four provinces. Initially, it was only to be Laurens partaking in the royal formality. That is, until, Diego stepped up to the plate. He claimed that he had a right to be considered for the throne, since he was technically older than his half-brother. Now the King and Queen have a decision to make, and it's only a matter of time until chaos beaks out. Which is why we ask:

Is blood really thicker than water?

This is where you come in.

A total of 24 girls sent from the other three provinces ( the East, the South and the West ) have been hand-picked by each place to compete for the crown. The way it will work is all 24 ladies in waiting will arrive at the palace, then will be divided into two groups based upon a random draw. 12 selected will court Laurens at first, while the other 12 will court Diego. Whenever both boys are ready to make a decision, 3 girls will be eliminated from BOTH GROUPS, which means a total of 6 girls will be leaving the palace due to first elimination. The remaining selected will then SWITCH SUITORS, and this task will continue on until there are the elites, from which each brother will take a bride.

So in short, each province will be sending 8 girls to compete.

PLEASE NOTE: ONE OF THE GIRLS SENT FROM EACH PROVINCE WILL BE THE HEIR (Princess) TO THE THRONE OF THEIR RESPECTED PROVINCES.
