Chapter 16 - WARNING

Clyde Nielsen

I sat down across from Ana, who chugging whisky like it was water. She looked outside the window, completely pissed at Celine. She took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"Have you lost your mind?" I asked her, and she looked at me like I was the problem. "I think it's none of your business." She grabbed another glass of whisky.

"Mason had enough of you already." This woman has been a pain in everyone's butt lately. "And I've had enough of Mason already." She said as she chugged her second glass of whisky.

"Will you come to a charity event?" She asked as she put her empty glass on the table. "Yes, and you should stay home," I said straightforwardly.

"That's rude, Nielsen. And who is the beautiful blonde hair girl?" She asked curiously. "My girlfriend, Luna. Stay away from her, or I'll kill you and feed your remains to the sharks."

"Don't be rude, and I will be a part of your circle sooner or later." Anastasia and Mason have been engaged for years, and they can't stand each other. When Mason announced it, we thought he was out of his mind. Interestingly, they are both engaged despite wanting to kill each other badly.

"You can dream, Creed," I said, and she chuckled.

"What do you want? I'm sure that you want something from me." She said, and I smirked. "What do you want in return?" I must negotiate with her first, or she'll use it against me. Anastasia is a cunning woman.

"I want Mason to marry me."

"And you think I can make him marry you?" I raised my eyebrows, hearing it. "You're going to hell for what you wish, and you know that, right?" Anastasia poured more whisky into her glass.

"I know."

"Well, I'll try my best." I nodded, and she looked up at me. "Now tell me what you want?" She asked as she grabbed her glass of whisky.

Luna Morris

Yesterday, when I got home, a package was waiting for me. When I opened it, it was a beautiful long silk navy dress and black ankle strap heels. When I tried it on, it fit me perfectly. It's a halter-neck dress, and it's backless. I looked so elegant in it.

Clyde came to my apartment at seven. He brought me two pizzas for dinner. I told him that I was going to paint and he let me. I locked myself in my painting room for hours, and when I got out, I thought he would be gone, but he was sleeping on the sofa.

I fell asleep after painting, and Clyde was gone when I woke up. He texted me that he'd pick me up at 5 pm for the charity event.

"I don't think this is a good idea." Daisy looked at me, shaking my head. "It's a good idea." She said as she put her hair into a bun after curling it to give it volume.

"I don't want him going around telling everyone that I'm his girlfriend," I said as I continued to put my makeup on. I go with my dramatic look, gold glitter eyeshadows with a small thin gold chain shaping a half-butterfly wings from my crease to the edge of my eyes and down to the bottom of my eyes.

"You already accept the fact that you're his girlfriend, Luna. Why not just accept him publicly?" She's right. I should have stopped him more, but somehow I liked it and started to get used to it.

I still hate him, though, and I still keep my distance.

"I don't want to know his circles. I've had enough after joining the Billionaire Kids in London." I said as I rechecked my makeup before putting on my gold earring.

"I want to see the rest of the Bloodhounds, and they must be there, right?" Daisy squealed, and I shook my head. "And you want to hit on them?"

"Besides Mason and Clyde, they are all single." Her statement made me turn to her. "Is Mason engaged?" Daisy sat on my bed, looking at me, confused.

"How do you know that? You never cared about them." I nodded at her statement. "I saw his fiancee yesterday when I went shopping."

"Anastasia Creed. She's the definition of Regina George. People hated her and didn't understand why Mason would pick such a fiancee when women lined up to be his." Anastasia, that's her real name.

My phone vibrated, and Clyde told me he would pick me up. I checked my dress one last time before putting on the high heels. Daisy helped me by spraying perfume and pulling my straight hair to the back.

"You look amazing." She said as she playfully tapped my buttcheeks. "Thank you, and you look ready to have fun." She winked and gave me my purse that was on the bed.

"Let's go." We went to the lobby, and the car arrived just in time. Blanc and Clyde got out of the car. Clyde looked so good in his black suit. It must be tailored and made for him. He let his hair down, making him look more approachable than usual.

Clyde checked me out from head to toe before walking towards me. He put his hand on my chin, lifting it to kiss me. "You look breathtaking." He held my hand and turned to Daisy, giving her a nod.

"Shall we?" He asked, and he led me to the car. Daisy got in first, followed by me and Clyde.

"Are there some things that I should know about?" I asked as I turned to Clyde. My eyes met his hazel ones, hypnotizing me for a split second.

"I want you to stay beside me throughout the night, that's all."

"How about Anastasia? Are you two close?" His eyes filled with amusement when he heard Anastasia's name. "We go in the same circle and that's it. Don't worry about her. As long as you stay out of her way, you'll be fine."

"She's Mason's fiancee, right?" Daisy asked.

"Yes, she is."
