The bitter irony is that though my body is chained, my mind is more free than ever. He prefers those whose eyes have dimmed, submissive to his abuse but I would not.
My mother once told me, " you are strong". Yesterday, I got lost in the tide and I caved, swept away by my own fears that the word strong became insignificant. But today is a new day and I cannot let some beast to engulf me in his manipulative games.
If the prophecy is true then at any cost I will rise against Jax and put an end to his reign. Besides, what better Ally than the outcast himself.

I felt the soft panic that grew inside me as I faced Jax's bedroom door. Hesitating to knock. Has he found out my plan? How? I haven't spoken with anyone about it. Not even Duncan or Adira. I can feel my pulse pounding in my temples. Have I met the end of my uprise? Before it has even begun.
I wiped my sweaty hands on my jeans before I knocked on his door. Instantly the door flew open.

"Come on in", he said with grin plastered on his beautiful yet most sinister face.

I took a few steps in.

"Why did you hesitate so long to knock on my door?", he asked.

"I'm sorry?", I said not quite understanding yet I did.

"I", he said as he stretched his arms out to his side then pointed at himself, " am such a gentleman", he bowed. "That I knew you were out there for a really long time". Jax took a glass cup, added some ice cubes and poured himself whiskey.

Jax's easy demeanor set my heart racing almost too fast.

He took a sip before setting his eyes right on me. I felt my heart stop instantly. "Your heart beat can be heard for a mile away, love".

"Oh", was all that was able to slip out my mouth.

"Now", he said as he took a few steps towards me. "My question is, why are you so anxious today?".

"I'm just overwhelmed, I haven't seen you in a couple of days and when Megan told me you wanted to see me... I was thrilled. I guess my nerves got the best of me, knowing my presence was seek by you, your Highness". I gave him a slight bow.

"I see my love but with me you shouldn't be nervous at all". Jax took a hold of my chin, lifting it upward to take a better view of my face. His fingers then traced down my collarbone and down to my cleavage. His cold touch sent shivers all over my body. Jax's finger then skimmed into my cleavage, followed by the rest. He took a well grip of my left boob, giving it a gentle squeeze.

"I can feel your heart's great pounding, a great pressure; every beat", he said.

He obviously was right. I could hear it too and I could feel it.

Duh-duhn, duh-duhn.

I can hear my heartbeat echoe in my ears as he caress my boob. My insides cried out feeling an unpleasant shiver runnig down my spine, like a bolt of electricity. Jax then removed his hand.

"I haven't called you here for this today", he took a step back.

"You didn't?". I took my seat on one of his chairs. Letting out a sigh of relief.

"If I did I would have had you be well prepared for that occasion".

I looked away trying not to look at him. I didn't want the hatred I felt for him be uncoverd by him.

"Anyways, as you know I have watched you in the last couple of days and I have no reason to doubt your loyalty and commitment to us".

"I'm glad you were mindful of that", I replied.

"For now, I'm letting you go to the surface. But doesn't mean I have given you permission to step out and go exploring, you got that?".

"Very clear my Prince. You do not need to worry", I gave him a slight smile.

"Now leave before I give into my desires and make you truly mines today".

I nodded, rapidly getting to my feet. "Good day my lord". I dashed out the room in a split second.

I finally get the chance to feel the fresh air against my hair and skin and the sunlight that gives me a warm sensation and smile once again.
