"This, Hanguang Jun fellow," Hua Cheng asked his son, "he tried to save you? To defend you?"

Hua Ying nodded, "he did. I had to push him away. Not only because I knew once the trial was over I may not see him again, but because I did not want his reputation to fall," he explained, "he is a very prominent and respected cultivator."

"You...love him don't you?" Xie Lian asked.

Hua Ying looked at his Baba, "I am not sure. Possibly, but it isn't meant to be. I do not think he likes me that way, and his brother and his uncle said he has an arrangement for a marriage set in place."

"With who?" Hua Cheng asked.

"All I know is that she is from the Jin Clan. I met her once but I already forgot her name. She looked pretty and also looked like she'd be suitable for him. She was a bit prideful of her engagement and shoved it in my face a couple times. Saying she already got a chance to be alone with him and kiss him and hug him. I do not want to believe it but how can I not," Hua Ying said, "what do I do? Everything hurts!"

Hua Cheng was furious and wanted to tell these people off. Xie Lian too, wanted to go to them, "you can come with us, we will go see them and tell them who you really are. Make them regret everything," Xie Lian said, "they dare not mess with the emperor of heaven and a supreme ghost king."

"Are you sure?" Hua Ying asked.

"Yes, now come," Hua Cheng said.

The three teleport to Lanling as that was where everyone was at. There was even an event going on...the engagement of Hanguang Jun and a prominent female figure from the Jin Clan, Jin Leizu. Hua Ying stood behind his parents and just let them handle everything.

"Such a joyous occasion," Hua Cheng said loudly and it got everyone's attention.

"Who are you? How did you get here?" Jin Guangshan asked.

Hua Cheng summoned E-Ming, "does this look familiar? No?" He questioned then a couple silver butterflies started flying around the room, "about these death spirit butterflies?...still don't know, then let me introduce myself. I am the Crimson Rain Sought Flower, Hua Cheng!"

"Supreme ghost king, Hua Cheng?" A Yao disciple questioned and got his sword ready.

"This is my husband, Heavenly Martial God and Emperor, Xie Lian. Behind him is our son who you all may know as Wei Wuxian, but his real name is Hua Ying, crown prince of the realms," Hua Cheng explained.

"A'Ying?" Wangji asked surprisingly.

Hua Ying refused to look at him and stood behind Hua Cheng. Hua Cheng could see the pain in his son's eyes, "I heard you tried to save him."

"I did, but my brother and a few others held me back," Wangji answered.

"You know, you broke his heart unknowingly," Hua Cheng said, "I would not be surprised if he never talks to you again."

"Why?" Wangji asked, "I am sorry I did not try harder. I wanted to but I got locked away. When I broke free I was too late."

"I'm not talking about trying to save him, I am talking about you playing with his heart. He thought you cared about him, but from what it seems, you have had your hands full with your fiancée," Hua Cheng said, "give me one good reason why I shouldn't tear out your soul and make it suffer in the deepest depths of hell?"

"What are you talking about? This is the first time I met her," Wangji said.

Hua Ying furiously stepped forward, "then why did she tell me that you could not keep your hands off her. You even went as far as bringing her into your Jingshi and into your bed!"

"I never did such a thing, you know I do not lie," Wangji said and looked at the girl, "what did you do?"

"I got rid of the problem. He was in our way," Jin Leizu told him, slyly.

"In your eyes, but not mine, I only agreed to this stupid marriage because my brother promised me he'd keep A'Ying alive. I never once touched you and I never will. My heart only beats for one person and it is A'Ying," Wangji looked at his brother, "What have you done?! Why did you lie to me? Why hurt me and A'Ying like this?"

Hua Ying smirked and used one of the butterflies to show them what he witnessed. It shows Hua Ying as Wei Wuxian, walking through Cloud Recesses. Lan Xichen asked him to follow him and when they passed the Jingshi they heard sinful sounds. A male and female.

"So it was a lie?" Wuxian asked, "How am I to believe you?"

"I am pure, I swear to you," Wangji said.

Xie Lian walked over to him and Leizu, "can I have a drop of blood?" He asked Leizu. She agreed and gave him blood. Wangji then did the same. The Orb he used was to test the purity of the person. To see if they were involved in sexual acts or not.

"What is that?"

"This tests your blood, it will tell me whether you are pure or not," Xie Lian said. After a moment the orb glowed White showing that Wangji was indeed innocent, "he is still pure...while Jin Leizu shows red, meaning she is not pure...who have you been with?"

Leizu got nervous, "you rigged that!"

"Are you questioning Martial God and emperor Xie Lian?" Hua Cheng asked. Hua Ying was silent through it all. He kept his eyes on the orb that glowed white. It meant that Wangji was telling the truth.

"No," Leizu said.

"No one is able to leave until we have every bit of evidence and information of the truth. You all messed with my son's fate and my husband and I are going to do what we can to correct it," Xie Lian Said. Hua Ying stared at that white glow that was proof that Wangji was telling the truth.

"Why would they deceive me like this?" Hua Ying thought.

"So you are innocent, did you plan this and break my heart?" Hua Ying asked, "You humans are so disgusting if that is the case," Hua Ying looked at Lan Xichen, "why? Why would you risk your brother's happiness like this?"

"I did not know the truth about you at the time but I believed you were too corrupt with resentment to be with him," Xichen said, "he has a fiancée now anyway. You lost your chance."

"No!" Wangji yelled.

Lan Xichen looked at him, "what did you say?"

"I said no!" Wangji said, "I refuse to marry this woman. I will only marry Hua Ying. If he will ever accept my heart again. You disappoint me Xichen. You were the one who wanted me to befriend him, and now that I am in love with him, you decided to tear us apart?"

Hua Ying was furious. He wanted so badly to lash out but with the limited amount of energy he had since he helped Jiang Cheng, he could not. Hua Ying turned to Jiang Cheng, "you tried to make the final blow. I helped you when you were in need and you blew it. That core I gave you, was mine and I intend to take it back," he told him.

Jiang Cheng was so confused. Before he could do or say anything, Hua Cheng used his abilities to keep the young leader from moving. Xie Lian went over and placed his hand over Jiang Cheng's dantian. He then pulled out the core that was in his body. Xie Lian then carefully sent some energy into the core to cleanse it of any impurities and damages, before going over to his son placing it back in his body.

Xie Lian then turned to Jiang Cheng, "do not worry, you will still have a core," he said and sent Jiang Cheng a new one. Only it was a core that was newly formed. Almost like when a child gets their core for the first time.

"You!" Jiang Cheng yelled.

"I what?" Xie Lian asked, "my son helped you and trusted you. You lost his trust when you tried to kill him."

Hua Ying smiled and felt his energy flowing through his body again. He turned to Lan Wangji and Lan Xichen, "now, we can continue our discussion."

Lan Wangji was stunned, "you?"

"No need to worry about it, you did not know," Hua Ying said and went over to Lan Xichen, "you have a lot of nerve messing with my relationship when you have been in a messy one yourself."

"What are you talking about?" Lan Xichen asked.

"Jin Guangyao was the one who told you all the bad things about me, correct?"

"So what if he did. What does that have to do with anything?" Lan Xichen questioned.

"Everything, as you would rather listen to him than your biological brother," Hua Ying replied, "and you are in for a shock of a lifetime."

This story may not be as long as others but I am not sure yet. When I write, it's usually I write as I go. So if I have ideas they come naturally. I am sure this will still be a decent length of a story though.
