With the wedding date creeping closer, Natalia and Jey were in full planning mode. Today was all about locking in the final details-venue, menu, and cake.

They sat in the private event space of a luxury resort, the same venue Naomi and Galina had scouted. The space overlooked a beautiful beachfront, with palm trees swaying in the distance. Natalia could already picture it-string lights, white roses, and the sound of waves crashing as they said their vows.

"This is it," Natalia said, turning to Jey with excitement in her eyes. "This is where we're getting married."

Jey smiled, taking her hand. "If you love it, I love it."

The venue coordinator, a polished woman named Diane, smiled warmly. "Perfect! Now that the venue is set, let's go over the menu options."

A server brought out a variety of dishes for them to sample. Jey immediately perked up when he saw the spread.

"Oh yeah, this the part I been waiting for," he said, rubbing his hands together.

Natalia laughed, shaking her head. "Of course it is."

They sampled a mix of dishes-grilled mahi-mahi, filet mignon, coconut shrimp, and a variety of sides. Jey was all about the seafood, while Natalia loved the steak and roasted vegetables. After some back-and-forth, they decided on a surf-and-turf menu that had a little bit of everything.

"You happy, baby?" Jey asked as Natalia took notes.

She nodded. "Very. Now, let's talk cake."

The pastry chef entered with a tray of mini cake samples. Jey's eyes lit up again. "Oh, we eatin' good today."

Natalia rolled her eyes playfully before focusing on the cakes. There were classic flavors like vanilla and chocolate, but also unique ones like passionfruit, coconut rum, and red velvet.

Jey took a bite of the coconut rum cake and closed his eyes. "This one. Hands down."

Natalia tried it and had to admit-it was amazing. "Okay, I love this, but I also really like the passionfruit."

The chef smiled. "We can actually do a two-tier cake with both flavors."

Natalia grinned. "That's perfect!"

Jey draped an arm around her shoulder. "See? We make a good team."

With the venue, menu, and cake finalized, everything felt real. The wedding of their dreams was finally coming together.
