— considering her superior battle knowledge and position as oldest of the team, COMET is more than confident. her zero-mercy attitude and one-track mindset is both intimidating and admirable (depending on which end of her sword you're on). COMET isn't much of a talker, and she has a subconscious habit of scaring people away with her cold, condescending nature, but the words she does speak tend to leave a lasting impression. they tend to feed her big ego, too.

— it's hard, to say the least, for IGNITE to speak a sentence without starting an argument. his colorful vocabulary and impatient temperament make a bad combination, and he's always itching for a fight (especially amongst his own teammates). though his anger issues are more than evident, IGNITE does recognize and regret his emotional outbursts. he's trying to be a good hero, really. it's just hard to be a calm person when you were raised like he was.

— with a deck of cards and an antique game controller always in her backpack, SPADE is the eccentric comedian of the group. there's always a joke on her lips, and her quirky and naturally amicable persona often times places her as the team icebreaker. though her physical strength pales in comparison to the other amateurs, SPADE makes up for it in tenfold by her intelligence, speed, and potentum power; but her indiscernible motives make her an unreadable, confusing teammate.

— friendly, light-hearted, and compassionate, DEPARTURE is the glue that keeps the amateurs together. his optimistic outlook and overprotective nature either motivates or frustrates his teammates; but regardless, it isn't difficult for him to make everyone cooperate. it's usually easy for DEPARTURE to keep his emotions in check, but his justice-fighter complex often leads to loss of composure during crucial moments: especially if someone he cares for is in danger.

— at first glance, it only takes a moment to understand WHIRLPOOL: she's anxious. distrusting in nature and alert from experience, there's always an expression of uncertainty on her face. her careful approach to battles can be helpful, but more often than not, her lack of risk-taking and courage deters her actual potential. yet WHIRLPOOL is soft at heart, acting as an occasional caretaker of the team, and it's not a rare occurrence for another amateur to find her sobbing loudly at a pretty sunset ("look at the colors!").

— aloof and seemingly carefree, FLICKER is the type to keep to himself. he likes to consider his knack for raising hell wherever he goes a talent, his sharp tongue and crooked smirk constantly landing him in trouble (but nothing his natural charm can't get him out of). to his impoverished home country, it's a phenomenon that he graduated as valedictorian, but living on the streets has taught FLICKER more than the public eye sees. he's a mystery to his teammates; to himself, he's just good at hiding.

❝ it isn't easy being hated universally. ❞

— having your future decided before you were even born isn't exactly desirable, to say the least. MOONBEAM was born into their position, given the leadership title of the 99 ROGUES through bloodline, and isolated from the world. growing up surrounded by rogues taught them how to survive; leading them taught MOONBEAM how to conceal. because unbeknownst to everyone except their own father (who plans to keep it this way), MOONBEAM's life is a bit complicated: they aren't potentum.
