Early the next morning Taehyung had left his room, he couldn't sleep and needed a drink to think about things.

Suddenly someone sat down next to him. Wearing expensive looking clothing. The hunter put his glass down and glanced to the side trying not to be all too obvious that he was looking at them.

"You can look at me all you want," a familiar deep voice came from the man's mouth. Taehyung's eyes widened realizing it was Jungkook next to him.

"y-you-"

"i came to see you"

"oh....Why?" taehyung mentally hit himself for making his voice sound so sweet without thinking

"just because." Jungkook chuckled and looked at the other, his beautiful red eyes looking into Taehyung's. "you're my favorite human... also, does it still hurt?" the vampire suddenly asked.

"huh?"

"the wounds on your back."

"how did you know?"

"i just know"

"okay...well...yea, but it's bearable."

"Jimin can heal them for you"

"i dont need anyones help"

"I just don't want you to be in pain like last time. but whatever you say"

Taehyung didn't know why he was blushing. But he did look away to hide it. Gulping his drink down and smacking the small glass on the counter.

"leaving so soon?" Jungkook raised a brow at the other.

"y-yes" Taehyung felt weird. He couldn't be friendly with the other. It goes against all the rules. He can't accept these feelings inside of him.

"Why don't you stay for a drink, my treat" Jungkook said and stared into the other's eyes intensely. Taehyung halted looking at the vampire, but then he sighed.

"give me a whiskey"

"anything you want" jungkook chuckled and ordered two glasses for both of them.

"you drink?" Taehyung asked.

"I do like the effect of alcohol inside my body. but i do not really taste much of it"

"So vampires can get drunk?

"of course we can, it's still some kind of poison, even for us"

"oh, I learn new things everytime i speak with you.

"you should talk to me more"

"I can't, you know that. I am only here to kill you eventually. don't think i am your friend"

"we are destined to be more than friends, you can't fight it forever Kim Taehyung"

"watch me" taehyung frowned and took his glass from the waiter taking a sip right away.

"I would like to see you try," Jungkook chuckled.

"bet"

"yea? you want to bet on it?" Jungkook raised his brow and removed his glass from his lips, he was just about to take a sip. "alright, what's your input?"

"If I win, I will have your head."

"And if I win?"

"then you win, if we're really destined then you must want it really bad. i think that's enough of a treat"

"sounds reasonable. I will take the bet. it's not like i have anything to lose to begin with"

"your life"

"hmm" jungkook gulped the drink away and wanted to order a new one when someone on the other end of the table was looking at him with almost a glare. Jungkook looked back at them and sighed. "it seems i've been caught"

not even five seconds later the man stood up and drew his knife pointing the tip at Jungkook. "He's a vampire!!"

immediately all heads turned towards the raven. Meanwhile, Jungkook just gulped his drink away and calmly stood up from the stool, giving Taehyung a smirk before he disappeared. black smoke fell down to the ground and the doors of the cafe were left open.

"After him!" the hunter shouted and a group of hunters rushed outside to kill the vampire who infiltrated the bar under their noses.

As the chaos slowly died down and the silence returned in the bar Taehyung looked at his leftover whiskey that was in his glass. A slight worry went over him. What if those hunters catch Jungkook, what if he gets hurt.

"no one else other than me can kill him, fuck" taehyung jumped off his stool and grabbed the knife that he placed on the counter tying the it to his belt as he rushed out of the cafe. His steps were fast, rushing to the sounds of the hunters nearby.

His eyes were scanning the empty alleyways, he knew the vampire was here somewhere....he could feel it.

he felt jungkook's presence was here. He just had to find the exact spot it was coming from.

"you, any sign of him!?" a hunter shouted his way. on the other side was another one.

"no" taehyung shortly replied and walked off, his steps getting faster the more hunters he came across. Everyone was looking for the same man. He was turning left and right trying to find the other when he felt a cold air go past him. He turned around and his eyes widened when he was suddenly pinned against the wall. a pair of hands placed next to his head trapping him between a cold body and the wall.

"Looking for me, little rose?" Jungkook chuckled. his red eyes lit up in the dark. It was actually really beautiful to see.

"no"

"i know you were, you can't hide your thoughts from me, i can see everything"

"stop reading my mind!"

"It's quite hard when you're basically throwing them at me," Jungkook grinned and playfully leaned closer. his cold breath fanning over the other's neck. His red eyes moved down and stopped as they saw the already healing bite marks he himself made. "my bite looks pretty on you. i wish it was there forever"

"It won't because one day I will slid this knife through your neck," Taehyung threatened as he took out his emerald lined knife. putting the edge near Jungkook's neck. the vampire froze a little, glancing quickly at the blade.

"Whenever you're ready you can kill me, it's all fine with me. but no one other than you is allowed to do so. i give you all the shots you need for success"

"why?" Taehyung asked. He just didn't get why jungkook was being like this. He was a vampire. Why would he willingly let himself be killed by him? mates or not, why?

"will i get something in return if i answer your questions?"

"You can't bite me '' Taehyung frowned and quickly got out of the cage by going under the other's arms. but with just a blink of an eye the vampire was behind him. his nose trailing over his neck, slightly brushing his hot soft neck.

"Why not, your blood is delicious. it makes me feel warm inside" jungkook whispered.

"y-you can't."

"I know you want me to, but you're afraid of your father, '' Jungkook said, his lips touching the skin a little before moving his lips closer to the other's ear. "you're afraid of others. restricting yourself for it. if you would just give in you won't have to worry anymore. I can protect you from him, he's just a mortal human."

"s-stop" taehyung said softly. he didn't want to hear it. It made him feel so confused. it made him rethink everything, he didn't want to be confused anymore.

"just take what you want. You don't want to be a hunter, you don't want to be someone who you are not. you're not happy taehyung. you're destroying yourself if you keep doing this. Your father will kill you"

"no!" Taehyung turned around abruptly and kneed Jungkook and gave him a kick. The vampire fell down but didn't make any movement. his red eyes just looked at taehyung. "S-stop talking! I won't give in, I can't! He has to see I am someone, I am not worthless and weak! I don't need your help!" taehyung shouted he grabbed his knife and put it against the vampire's neck adding some pressure. a line of deep almost black blood appeared on the pale white skin of the raven. "i...i have to do this..."

Jungkook kept his lips shut. The only thing he did was look at the other and not interrupt his moment.

"i..." taehyung looked at the vampire but then closed his eyes, averting his head the other direction. He couldn't look at the other if he did this. but his hands didn't move, slowly he opened his eyes again and sighed. letting go of the knife and step off the other pulling his knees up. "i can't, im sorry"

"you don't have to be sorry to me, be sorry to yourself. you're lying to yourself. it's not going to make you any happier. take what you want taehyung, you live only once and you're only focused on what someone else wants from you, live your own life." Jungkook stood up and dried his neck which was bleeding a little. The cut stung awfully because it was poisonous, yet he did not complain.

"I don't know anymore. '' Taehyung held his head and looked at the ground.

"think about it, if you need me i will be there"

"yea right" taehyung rolled his eyes.

"haven't I done it so far?" Jungkook raised a brow. the human just blushed a little realizing the other was to everytime he said something. "anyway, here" the raven handed the human his knife but kept his arm extended. "at least let me help you on your feet"

"Fine," the hunter said, pretending to not like it. but he did, he did like to take the vampire's hand and feel his cold skin on his again. It made him smile. "no.. i cant...rules tae" he muttered to himself.

"there he is!"

"well time for me to actually leave now" jungkook chuckled looking at the hunters that run towards him. jungkook dodges an incoming bolt and looked at taehyung. "i'll see you around"
