Vinny and Oliver shared a glance that they would never forget.

The baby was starting to make it's entrance into the world.

"Well, what do we do?" Oliver asked, suddenly feeling nervous for the bumpy road ahead.

"Just relax," Aliyah said. "I don't know if this birth will be like females and I certainly don't know what's going to happen with your body. Will it change to give an exit for your child? Who knows? We'll just have to wait and see."

Her voice was calm and it did help to chill him out, but Vinny was starting to get nervous too.

"Vinny, it's okay" Oliver chuckled, watching him trying to keep his cool.

"I know," Vinny said. "Its just, I've been preparing myself for this and now that it's here, I don't know how to react."

"Well, I would appreciate it if you stayed calm for me. If you're calm, I'm calm."

Vinny nodded and took Oliver's hands, squeezing them tight.

"Let's sit here for a little longer," Oliver said.

Vinny pulled his deck chair close and sat down next to him.

Corey and Panuleon came and also sat down, wanting to talk about how it feels with Oliver.

It was only early stages yet and it could take hours and hours for anything to really happen.

But this wasn't a normal birth so, of course, it wouldn't stick by the rules.

One hour later.

Oliver gasped and held his bump.

The contractions were coming quicker than what even Aliyah thought they would.

He winced with a little bit of pain.

"It's not fun anymore" Oliver breathed while scrunching his eyes shut.

Vinny squeezed his shoulder and rubbed his back.

John, Madison, and Duke were still unaware of what was happening but it was probably time to move into the first aid room.

Just to be on the safe side.

"I'll go in and tell them what's going on," Aliyah said as Vinny helped Oliver onto his feet.

"I'm so excited," Corey said. He honestly couldn't wait to meet their baby.

"The thought of not being pregnant anymore makes me excited," Oliver said as he slowly headed towards the back doors.

Suddenly, they heard a very loud squeal.

Vinny groaned and cursed under his breath, knowing she was going to drive him crazy.

Madison came running to the door with a huge grin.

"Oh my gosh!" She squealed but Duke held her hand.

"I don't think Oliver's going to appreciate this level of excitement right now" He chuckled.

"Yes I'm sorry, you're right," She said, seeing how Oliver was not grinning at her. "Come inside."

Slowly, they made their way to the first aid room.

The staff was bravely asking Duke if anything was happening and he stayed behind to inform them that Oliver had started his contractions.

A very excited buzz was now echoing through the mansion as the staff was told to inform the news reporters outside about his progress.

With help from Vinny, Oliver got onto the bed and rested his back against the cushions.

He let out a slow breath as another contraction pulsed through his lower half.

"Ow," He muttered, trying to let it pass.

Vinny ran a hand through his hair as Corey and Panuleon sat on some chairs.

John was standing next to Vinny.

Now that it was officially happening, he was concerned for his son's safety.

This had never been done before and he was worried that things might go wrong.

"Can I get you anything, Oliver?"

"Um, can I have some cold water please?" He breathed while Vinny climbed onto the bed next to him.

"Of course, I won't be long" John smiled and patted his knee. He then turned and headed out the room.

Madison was on her phone, trying her best to text family and friends the news.

"Can I help with anything?" Vinny asked as he was finally calming down.

Oliver looked at him once the contraction passed.

"No, it's okay" He smiled. "Just hug me."

Vinny gladly did so.

He put an arm around his waist and rested the side of their heads together.

"Maybe the crib will actually be in use tonight," Vinny said while snuggling into him.

"Maybe," Oliver said with a smile. "I hope so."

"Me too."

Vinny then stared happily at Oliver's bump.

"Hurry up in there, your dads want to see you."

Madison was beaming ear to ear, she couldn't wait to watch her son look after a baby. It's going to be so cute.

"Vinny, why are you so adorable?" Oliver questioned.

"I've been asking myself that for years."

Oliver laughed and played with his vampires fingers.

But that was short lived as he was doomed with another contraction.

His body tensed as his grip on Vinny's hand tightened.

He closed his eyes and tried controlling his breathing.

It felt so weird. There was so much pressure down there and things seemed to be happening too fast.

Vinny rubbed the side of his belly and watched him with concern. He didn't like this and it wasn't half as bad as what it will get.

Panuleon was assessing Oliver's progress and his contractions are fairly close together now. It seems to be happening quicker than what it should.

"Okay Oliver, I think it's time for me to have a look and see if anything has changed," Aliyah said, knowing she was going to invade his privacy.

Oliver didn't care.

"That's fine" He breathed as Vinny got up to help keep his dignity.

They put a light sheet over his lower half as Vinny pulled off his shorts and his boxers, but what he saw almost instantly drained the colour from his face.

Even Aliyah stopped and double took.

"What?" Oliver asked as he did his best to sit up. "What is it?"

Vinny and Aliyah shared a glance that made Panuleon stand up.

"It's- It's your-" Vinny had no idea how to tell him.

John then came back with a jug of cold water but stopped when he saw shocked faces.

"Is everyone okay?"

"Please tell me that's temporary," Vinny said.

"I would be very surprised if it's not," Aliyah said as John came over and had a look.

Oliver did not care that they were looking at his private bits, but why did they look so shocked?

"Oh..." John said, understanding what they were talking about. "Is that normal?"

"What is it?" Oliver asked again.

Vinny glanced at his soulmate, this would be rather embarrassing.

He then gave John a little shove towards his son, wanting him to explain.

Aliyah motioned for Panuleon to come over, just as Duke and Jed came back in the room.

"Oliver, do you mind?" He asked, not wanting to make him uncomfortable.

"No it's fine, but can you please tell me why you reacted like that?" He asked while looking at his dad.

"Okay, I'm just gonna go all out and say it," John said, making sure his son was listening.

"Your man bits are gone."

Now it was Oliver's turn to drain all the colour from his cheeks.

"WHAT?" He almost yelled. "Where is it!?"

"I'm sure it'll come back, this is just your body making an exit hole for the baby," Panuleon said.

He was rather chilled, he has surprisingly seen weirder stuff.

"Wait, this means you can have a natural birth" Vinny said, also getting over that quick shock.

Oliver stared at him, his eyes still very wide.

"It's gone."

Duke and Madison didn't look, they stayed sitting down, not really bothered.

They figured something like this would happen and they were glad.

Having a C-section would've been riskier.

"What if it doesn't come back!?" Oliver was starting to freak out.

Vinny then walked around the bed and took his hand.

"I'm sure it will Oliver," He said, wishing there was someone here who could confirm that.

Corey watched Panuleon discuss things with Aliyah.

At least he knew what to expect now even if it was quite weird.

"But-"

"Calm down, it's okay," Vinny said as he brought his face in close and rested a gentle hand on his cheek. "Why wouldn't it come back? The power wouldn't just strip you of something like that. All of this is just temporary."

Oliver nodded but he could feel another contraction coming on.

"This is good news, Oliver, now I can see how many centimetres the baby is and deliver it normally" Aliyah smiled.

Panuleon went to sit back down with Corey.

Aliyah had asked if he wanted to deliver the baby but he thought it would be best to leave it to an actual midwife.

"It's good news, It's good news," Oliver said, trying to reassure himself. He didn't even want to look, knowing that would probably make him faint.

Vinny rubbed his shoulder as Oliver's body tensed once more at the tight contraction.

John went to sit with Duke, Jed, and Madison.

It wouldn't be nice for Oliver to be crowded with people as he was going through such a stressful time.

It was best for him to just have Vinny to concentrate on.

"Right Oliver, I'm just going to check your cervix," Aliyah said but he was in too much pain to ask what that was.

Vinny was whispering soothing things into his ear and rubbing his back, trying to comfort him as much as he could.

Everyone in the room realised that this was happening rather fast.

Aliyah frowned as she checked, she felt the head of the baby a lot sooner than what she thought she would.

Also, the cervix was completely dilated.

"Wow," she said before turning and grabbing two pieces of equipment that she could attach to the bed.

She rested Oliver's legs on them, separating them.

"You're ready to start pushing" She grinned.

Everyone was shocked to hear this, it was all happening so soon.

"I'm not ready" Oliver breathed as he was quickly getting really hot.

"Is he allowed pain relief?" Vinny then asked.

"That's the only thing we couldn't get our hands on but by the looks of things, the baby will be here in no time," Duke said.

Madison had her children with no pain relief.

"No, I'm not ready," Oliver said as he leant back against the cushions.

For him, it was going too fast and he was too overwhelmed.

"Yes you are," Vinny said before planting a kiss on his hot face. "You can do this."

Oliver was rapidly gaining the pain and it felt very rushed.

"Vinny, I'm scared now" He breathed.

"Don't be scared Olive" He said and wrapped an arm around him. "You're the bravest person I know."

His calming tone did help to settle Oliver although, Vinny was trying so hard to keep back his panic.

"If you get the urge Oliver, push," Aliyah said, knowing a contraction was going to hit him at any minute.

"Control your breathing," Vinny said, knowing this would hurt.

Oliver could feel it.

It was like a weight was crashing on his muscles, forcing them to work and to push.

"Now Oliver, push," Aliyah said, seeing him tense.

Oliver tried but the pain, oh the pain.

He cried out and tried to stop, it was indescribable.

By now, a crowd of workers had stopped outside the first aid room. The door was shut but they could hear Oliver's painful cries and were shocked to hear that he was in so much pain already.

"Keep going," Aliyah said, seeing him tense once more.

This time, Oliver gripped Vinny's waistcoat and cried out again. He was sweating and tears were falling from his eyes.

"I can't" He sobbed as he scrunched them shut.

He was breathing heavily.

It was so painful.

How did this happen in such a short space of time?

Duke, Madison, and John watched with anticipation.

The baby was quickly approaching the outside world.

"You're doing so well" Vinny soothed as he decided to take off his waistcoat, he too was getting rather warm from secretly stressing out.

"It hurts" Oliver sobbed and it was breaking Vinny's heart.

"I know," He softly said and rubbed the top of his back. "You've not got long to go."

Aliyah couldn't believe the speed that the baby was coming out. The head was almost visible now and that was after just two big pushes.

She then tried pushing Oliver's legs further apart but of course, they didn't expand like a female pelvis does.

That was soon becoming a problem as Oliver tried pushing again. He wanted the baby out right now.

He cried loud and hard, the pain felt like he was breaking bones.

Vinny's heart crippled at the awful noise of his soulmate being in so much pain.

He held him tight as Oliver didn't worry about squeezing Vinny's arm with incredible strength.

But he was only human and the vampire could handle it.

"Oliver, stop, stop pushing," Aliyah said, realizing that he would very literally break a bone if he carried on. His pelvis was under too much strain.

"What's happening?" Vinny asked in a panic as Oliver's body was now lightly trembling.

"I can't" Oliver cried as he gripped Vinny's shirt, forcing him to stay close.

"He's going to break his pelvis" Aliyah said as she looked to Panuleon.

They realised that this was the only flaw to the powers magnificent gift.

"I can heal him after but for now, there's nothing we can do."

Vinny glanced at his parents who were looking worried for the poor boy.

Not only does labour feel like he's breaking bones, now he actually is.

Oliver breathed fast as he prepared for the most painful thing he will ever feel in his life.

Aliyah forced herself to be calm as the baby's head began to show.

"Keep going Oliver, keep going," She said, waiting for the heart-stopping scream.

And sure enough, it came.

All the angels heard the crack of his bone as his screech echoed through the building.

He screamed.

He could barely even breath. His ears were ringing and his heart was flipping out in his chest.

John's heart was also thumping hard.

Vinny's legs almost went weak and he was beginning to look a little pale.

"Shhh, it's okay, the pain will stop soon" He soothed and gently rocked his tired body.

Tears were flooding Oliver's face as he cried so hard.

"Come on Oliver, you're so close," Aliyah said. She couldn't imagine the amount of pain he must be in right now.

"No, no, no, no" He sobbed. But he was quickly growing weak. "I can't do it!"

Vinny felt his grip weaken too as Aliyah called his name.

"Oliver keep your eyes opened, and push!"

He was getting dizzy as the pain was too much, he was starting to faint.

"Oliver, look at me" Vinny demanded, forcing his soulmates eyes to land on him.

"You, can, do, this."

This seemed to give him that tiny bit of strength to give it one more go.

Madison was tearful as she clutched Duke's leg and John's hand.

John was almost losing his mind as he had tears falling down his face too. He couldn't stand to see his son in this way.

Another scream bellowed through the room as Oliver gave it everything his body could possibly give. The baby had to come out.

He couldn't faint, not yet.

He pulled Vinny even closer and pushed his face into the vampires chest as he cried.

He was trying to breathe in his familiar smell.

"Keep going," Aliyah said as she could now hold the baby's head in her hands.

Oliver could feel himself shaking. He was so close to crumbling.

The pain was so sore it was starting to affect his mind.

Panuleon stood up, preparing himself to heal Oliver as soon as the baby was out.

"Vinny," He said, knowing he would want to see this.

Vinny pulled away from Oliver but just a little bit so he could see what was going on.

When he saw the babies head, something so spectacular washed right through him.

His parents watched as the frown completely disappeared and he started to look incredibly happy.

"Oliver, I can see it!" He said excitedly as a huge grin approached his face. His eyes cherished the amazing sight.

It felt like he had waited too long to meet his little one.

Oliver felt like he couldn't possibly force his body to do anything else as he continued to cry.

He then took a huge breath and pushed again.

But with very little strength and unforgettable pain, he was struggling.

Just as he was about to give up, the baby was officially pushed out.

Aliyah let out a relieved breath as she leaned over and grabbed Vinny's arm before pulling him towards her.

He was looking at the baby like it was the most amazing thing his eyes had ever seen.

Aliyah wrapped the baby in a clean little towel as they waited for it to cry.

When Oliver heard that reassuring cry from his baby, his whole body completely relaxed and he too whimpered from the pain that had now decreased.

Panuleon was standing by Oliver's side, healing him as Vinny was handed the baby.

Madison, John, Jed, and Duke were on their feet as they cherished this wonderful sight.

Vinny had the honours of cutting the umbilical cord, which he did quickly as his eyes laid on his beautiful child.

"Hello," He whispered as a tear of joy slipped down his cheek.

Oliver was barely hanging on.

He could feel Panuleon's healing energy cooling his pelvis but the power forbids it from touching anything else.

Vinny looked up to his soulmate and walked over.

"Oliver," He said, the happiness clear in his tone.

Oliver opened his eyes as the sight of him holding their child sparked his chest with so much warmth.

Vinny knew he barely had the energy to even blink so he gently rested the whimpering baby into his arms.

It was now a nice pink colour as the oxygen filled its body.

Vinny wiped its face clean as he kissed Oliver's temple.

"I'm so proud of you" He whispered.

Oliver cried at the sight of his beautiful child, finally laying in his arms.

He then looked to Vinny but the vampire already knew what he was going to ask.

With a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes, he told him what he was so desperate to hear.

"It's a boy."
