Chapter 37

Two months later.

Oliver is one day away from seventeen weeks pregnant as Corey is just under sixteen.

Nothing spectacular is happening, although, if you knew Oliver was pregnant you'd be able to detect a little bump starting to appear. But if you didn't, you'd just assume that he had eaten a big meal.

Corey wasn't really showing yet and he was still having morning sickness. For Oliver, that had cleared up now but he was feeling far from normal.

He was going to the toilet more often, he was hormonal and his emotions were a little mixed. He'd be tired for no reason and ate a lot of mash potato, which Vinny found very strange.

The vampire still had no clue what to expect with Oliver. He didn't know if all the things he felt were normal or not and would often ask Aliyah about it.

She understood why he'd be so concerned all the time, this process is deemed impossible and he was constantly worried about Oliver's health and the babies health. But on the outside, he was his usual grumpy self.

The public still didn't know about any of this.

Duke and Madison have been holding it off. Truth be told, they're nervous about what they'll think. They didn't want the boys to receive bad publicity and be tormented for how unusual this is.

They haven't even told their family members yet, purely for the same reasons.

"My waistband feels tight," Oliver said as he sat, twiddling his thumbs at the dining room table.

Vinny glanced at him with a smile.

"They're only going to get tighter," He said as he flicked through some of his dad's paperwork.

He was giving him a hand because he was stressing about it and Vinny is very intelligent and quick when it comes to things like this.

He gets it done in no time.

Suddenly, Zachariah landed in the middle of the dining room.

Vinny looked up to see him empty handed. He usually came with Jenny who did give him a headache from her over excited emotions.

They found a sweet little studio, not very far from here.

The Vanderwood's offered her a room in the mansion but she turned it down, she didn't want to get in the way and be inconvenient. She knew she'd be more comfortable in her own home and she is.

"Hello boys" He smiled. "How're you both doing?" It has been about four days since his last visit.

Zachariah doesn't need to stay with Corey and Panuleon that often because Panuleon is very capable of managing any situation, he just likes to offer his help and check in with them to see how they're doing.

"Good thanks," They said in unison. "How're you?"

Vinny's face remained blank, those were Oliver's words but he did like Zachariah.

"I'm very well thank you. Do you know where I can find Corey and Panuleon?"

"I think they're in the bedroom but I'd knock first if I were you" Oliver chuckled.

"Ah, okay," Zachariah said, understanding what he meant. "Thank you."

He then disappeared.

Panuleon watched His soulmate as he sat on the end of the bed.

They were feeling affectionate as Corey walked up to his Angel and climbed on top of him.

He had his knees on either side of his waist and his feet in between his legs. He pushed his body against his angels and wrapped his arms around his broad shoulders.

Panuleon smiled with a twinkle in his eye. It's not often that he doesn't have to look down to meet his lovers gaze.

He wrapped his arms around his small frame and brought his face in close.

Corey's eyes were beginning to show more gold, they always do when he gets affectionate.

Panuleon ran his hands down Corey's back before connecting their lips.

The kiss was gentle, sweet and warm in their hearts.

Over the past two months, they've really started to feel at home here and have grown more comfortable with revealing their inner affection.

They held it off for a while until they became familiar with their surroundings.

Corey ran his fingers through the back of his angel's hair, knowing he loved the feeling.

When a burst of passion flooded through them, Panuleon's wings showed. He couldn't help it, they did that when a big change of emotion washes over him.

Corey kissed him with a little more meaning while Panuleon fell on his back and let his soulmate lie on top of him.

Things were quickly heating up in the bedroom as Panuleon rolled over so Corey was underneath him. He was careful not to put all his weight on him as his body is a lot bigger than his.

Their lips moved together as they cherished one another's taste.

Panuleon effortlessly pushed Corey up the bed so he could lie down fully.

But just then, there was a knock at the door.

Panuleon stopped and pulled his head up.

Corey's gold eyes were swirling and shining brightly as they looked towards the closed door.

"Typical" Corey chuckled as he sat up and tried pulling himself together.

Panuleon took a calming breath before clearing his throat.

"Come in."

The door opened and Zachariah walked in.

When he saw Corey's gold eyes and Panuleon's wings, he knew he had interrupted something.

"I'm sorry, I'll come back later," He said before turning, but the boys didn't mind.

"No it's okay Zach, you can stay," Corey said quickly.

The angel turned with hesitation but he wasn't hanging about for long so he may as well stay.

He smiled and walked over to the bed.

Panuleon couldn't put his wings away yet, he was still full of affection so he flapped one and playfully hit, Corey.

"Hey," He chuckled and flinched from the feathers.

Panuleon grinned and pulled him onto his lap.

If he couldn't kiss him, he'd hold him tight.

Zachariah loved watching their relationship. He often found himself smiling at them without even realising it.

"How're you both doing?"

"We're great" Corey smiled and Panuleon wrapped his arms around his waist. He could feel a slight hint of a bump and it was making him excited with every passing day. "How're you and Jenny?"

"We're doing great too," Zachariah said. "We're going to the mountains soon, she wants to watch the sunset and take pictures with her new camera."

Jenny works. Now that she has a long life, she still earns her way in the world and saves for the things that she wants and needs.

"That sounds nice," Panuleon said.

Often, he and Corey go off on mini adventures. It only takes them ten minutes to fly to Australia from England so they can go anywhere in the world and still be home for tea.

"Yes, It's nice for her to be so relaxed about travelling now that there's no threat of demons."

"Yeah, it's still weird to think that we're demon free."

"It is, but isn't it good?" Zachariah smiled.

Panuleon nodded.

The first time he met Corey, he was getting mugged by a demon and he saved him.

But their attacks have been constant for many, many years and it was so amazing to finally be free from their chaos.

"So, how's the baby? You should be about... four months now, correct?" The angel asked Corey.

"Yes, and it's doing great according to Aliyah. Everything's how it should be. Although, I'm a little fed up of the morning sickness now but it should be gone in a few weeks."

Zachariah nodded as he saw how happy Panuleon looked when he talked about the baby.

"I'm glad to hear that everything is going great for you both and I'll come back in a few days to check on you. Remember Panuleon, if you ever need to talk about anything, channel your thoughts to me, you too Corey."

Even though Corey couldn't do it like Panuleon, he could get his angel to ask him things on his behalf.

"Of course, you too Zachariah," Panuleon said as he got up to give him a hug.

Zachariah is basically a father to him and it was nice to have that sort of support around.

Corey got up and hugged him too.

"I will" The angel smiled, feeling happy to have these two in his life.

"Right, I best get back to Jenny and I'll tell her you said hello."

The boys watched as his wings shined bright.

"See you soon" Corey grinned, just before the angel left.

Panuleon had managed to put his own wings away but he wasn't finished with his soulmate yet.

He looked down to Corey as the blue was returning to his eyes, but not for long.

He suddenly picked him up, making him gasp with surprise.

"Where were we?" He asked with a grin.

Corey chuckled cutely before his angel climbed onto the bed and lowered him onto his back, getting ready to kiss him once more.

"Oliver you're starting to show!" Madison squealed as he stood up from his chair.

He stopped and smiled nervously. It was still extremely strange for him to hear that.

Duke and John looked up to inspect his stomach and yes, the bump was a little noticeable.

Vinny rolled his eyes and put his pen down.

Madison has been this excited since they told her about their news and she seemed to find something new to get even more excited about every day.

"I think in a few more weeks, I won't be able to fit in these trousers anymore," He said.

"Don't you worry about that, I've made plenty of maternity trousers and shorts for both you and Corey" Madison smiled.

It was strange for her to think about making them for guys, but she had and they'd look like any other trousers and they'd fit more comfortably around his growing bump.

"Thank you" He smiled. He did appreciate everything she was doing for him.

"You're more than welcome Oliver. So have you felt the baby yet?" She asked as he walked over to where he left his jumper.

"No, well... I don't think so. Isn't it too early for that?" He asked as he pulled it over his head and walked back to the table.

"I felt strange butterfly sensations in my belly when I was seventeen weeks pregnant," She said. "Apparently that's the baby moving. You know, the baby will be practising sucking with it's mouth by now."

Oliver frowned with surprise as he sat down next to Vinny.

"Really?"

"you don't know much about babies do you?" John chuckled.

"I didn't think it would be that developed already," Vinny said, making Duke shake his head with a smile.

He knew the boys would need a lot of help when the baby arrives.

"Your baby is about the size of a turnip" Madison chuckled.

Oliver sat as he concentrated on the feel of his stomach.

He could feel faint and slow-wriggling but he assumed that was just his food digesting or something.

"If I felt movement in my stomach, is that the baby?" He asked.

"Yes, but it should only feel like a little flutter, your baby is beginning to move its limbs," Aliyah said as she appeared in the middle of the room.

"You can feel it move?" Vinny asked.

"Maybe," Oliver said.

"It ranges from sixteen weeks upwards so it really doesn't matter if you can't tell yet" She smiled before sitting next to him.

"Okay," He smiled.

They were all very thankful that Aliyah was around to keep them up to date and reassured.

"You know what" Duke said. He has thought long and hard about this today but if he keeps putting it to the back of his mind, the staff will surely get suspicious.

"I think it's time to tell everyone."
