The next morning, Vinny woke up to feel very refreshed and well rested.

Sleeping in his own bed never felt so good, especially with Oliver curled into his side.

It was nice to immediately see a familiar room and he was just so happy to be home.

He woke about two hours ago and now he was sitting in bed, reading a book and gently tracing his fingers along Oliver's shoulder.

He could hear the rain pattering against the big windows and he knew it would be another day to relax and show Corey and Panuleon around the mansion.

Just then, Oliver moved his head.

Vinny looked down when his soulmate lightly stretched and his eyes slowly flickered open.

"Good morning," He said softly before running a gentle hand through his hair.

Oliver quietly groaned and buried his face into Vinny's chest.

Yes, it was lovely to wake up in his own comfortable bed but he felt very sick this morning.

Vinny put his book down and stared at him for a moment. He could feel that he wasn't quite right.

Oliver felt queasy, still tired as he's not a morning person, and sick.

"Do I have to get up?" He asked, wondering if they had anything planned.

"No of course not," Vinny said before rubbing his back. "You can stay in bed all day if you want to."

Oliver liked the sound of that but he guessed he'd feel like this for only a few more hours.

He had no idea what morning sickness was supposed to be like. But it'll be different for everyone.

His mouth then began to feel watery and he knew what was coming.

Slowly, he rolled over and onto his back. He laid there for a minute or two, wondering if it would pass but the need to be sick was very real.

Vinny watched with concern as Oliver clambered out of bed and quickly made his way to the bathroom.

He was sick only seconds later, which hurt his heart. Just the thought of Oliver witnessing discomfort was too much.

He climbed out of bed and headed to the bathroom.

he quickly walked up to his soulmate who was kneeling over the toilet.

"Don't hold it back, just let it all out" He soothed while rubbing his back and pulling some toilet paper off for him to wipe his mouth with.

Oliver was sick one more time before he felt okay enough to brush his teeth.

Vinny followed him to the sink and wrapped his arms around his waist. He pushed his chest into his back and cuddled into him.

Oliver felt himself relax into Vinny's body while he brushed his teeth. He watched him in the mirror as he rested his chin on his shoulder.

They both knew that this was the first real sign of the pregnancy. This was his first real symptom.

When he was done, he turned and rested his forehead against Vinny's.

"I feel a little better" He mumbled.

"Good" Vinny smiled as he leant his face in closer and kissed him.

Oliver kissed back, loving the feel of his affection rushing through his chest.

It was gentle at first but Vinny then found himself pulling it deeper.

Oliver raised his eyebrows when Vinny's hands adventure certain areas.

He pulled back and chuckled.

"You're very loving at the minute."

Vinny nodded. Since they made love yesterday, he's constantly needing Oliver and wanting to be this passionate with him.

"Oh wait," He said, realising why. "It's mating season."

"Ohhh," Oliver said as he now understood.

Once every year, the mating season comes and lasts for a week and during this week, Vinny becomes incredibly affectionate and very passionate.

Oliver doesn't feel it because he's not a vampire but he loves this week. Mainly because Vinny can barely keep his hands off him.

"I like mating season," He said with a grin.

Vinny tilted his head and bit his bottom lip.

"I like you."

Oliver's heart fluttered as Vinny leant his head in close and gave him a long kiss.

Duke and Madison will also be affected during mating season but it's not that strong for them. They'll probably kiss more, hold hands more, hug more and be closer.

But Vinny's affection is through the roof and pretty much every kiss will be turned into a make out session. Every hug will probably turn into a make out session and his hands will be touching Oliver because he simply can't help it.

Their full souls are connected therefore Oliver's love and his love pile into Vinny and stay continuously strong for a week.

Oliver pulled his head back and gazed sweetly at Vinny.

When it's mating season, he likes to be a big tease simply because he can.

"I'm going to get dressed" He stated.

Vinny nodded and grabbed his hand.

"I'm coming."

Corey and Panuleon were sitting in the dining room and talking to John about what it was like for him when he was turned into a vampire and so on.

Corey was also sick this morning and to Panuleon's disappointment, he couldn't heal him and make everything better because morning sickness is helping the baby.

He felt a little queasy but it was nothing he couldn't handle. Millions of women are pregnant all over the world, it shouldn't be worse for him because he's a guy.

Madison and Duke were talking about how good it felt to wake up knowing that the boys were safe and home. This was the first night they had slept really well since they were taken.

Just then, the door opened.

Oliver and Vinny walked in, also feeling very happy to be home.

They went over and sat with everyone at the dining table. Oliver was feeling a little sick still but he was strangely hungry at the same time.

Vinny watched as he got some breakfast.

"Good morning," Duke said, knowing it was the start of mating season and knowing they would see a lot of love from Vinny. They do every year so they know what to expect.

"Morning everyone" Oliver smiled and got a lot of replies back. "How're you both doing? Did you sleep okay Corey?" He turned to the couple who he was sitting next to.

"We're great" Panuleon smiled.

"And I slept great," Corey said.

"Good" Oliver grinned as he felt Vinny coil an arm around his waist and kiss gently on his neck. "Oh, it's mating season for the Vampires so Vinny will be really affectionate for a little while."

Corey of course, wanted to know more about this. He was interested in anything that he had never heard of or witnessed before.

"How does that work?" He asked.

"I don't know, it's a vampire thing" Oliver shrugged, he was a little distracted by Vinny. "But it'll last for about a week and I'm apologising in advance for the things that you might witness."

Vinny clearly didn't care what people thought.

"It's okay" Panuleon chuckled.

Vinny then forced himself to stop and eat some breakfast.

"So what are you boys up to today?" Madison asked.

"I want to go swimming," Oliver said.

"I knew it, I knew you'd have a swimming pool," Corey said.

"let's all go swimming after breakfast," She said happily.

Vinny would protest to that but he didn't mind spending time with his parents after the chaos of this week.

Everyone agreed. Oliver just wanted to lie next to the pool and probably sleep for a few hours.

Panuleon was excited by that. The first time he ever went swimming was with Corey and that was a few hundred years ago.

He found it very relaxing to swim around and not really do much other than entertain his soulmate.

"Oh my god" Corey said as he stood on the tiles and looked at the huge Roman baths. It was very rare that these still existed. "Wow."

Panuleon was also taken back by how huge the swimming pool was.

Oliver had let Panuleon borrow some shorts as Corey had some of his own.

Vinny pulled his and Oliver's wedding rings off, remembering this time. He went and put them on the shelves as Corey and Panuleon did the same.

John, Duke and Madison sat on the deck chairs, getting ready to relax.

"Don't push me in today please" Oliver mumbled before he laid down on his stomach at the side of the pool and dropped a hand into the warm water.

"I might not," Viny said as he sat next to him and gently rubbed his back. Oliver smiled and rested his head on his lap.

"You better not" He mumbled but he knew they would mess about in the pool later.

Panuleon stood on the edge as Corey came over.

He glanced down at him and suddenly picked him up.

Corey gasped as everyone watched Panuleon use very little effort to throw him into the middle of the pool.

Duke chuckled. They noticed that Corey was a very petite person but he and Panuleon make a very sweet couple. Especially when they're stood side by side, there's such a big difference in size.

Panuleon watched as Corey's head resurfaced and he rubbed the water from his face.

He laughed at his angel who was grinning from the side.

Corey called for him in his head and Panuleon jumped straight in.

But of course, as angels naturally do, he looked good doing it.

As they started splashing about in the pool, Oliver closed his eyes and relaxed as Vinny zoned out.

Their parents discussed random things but the main topic was still their babies and it would be until they gave birth.

But for now, it was time to get their minds and their home ready for raising a child.

The more they talked about it with each other, the more they'd get used to the idea and they could start looking forwards to it.

Vinny let his mind sink into the subject, he was starting to enjoy thinking about it.

The thought of looking after a mini version of him and Oliver would be something to keep his days busy.

He wondered if their child would be like him. Grumpy, angry and very unsocial or if it would be like Oliver. Happy, very social and liked to smile, a lot.

Maybe it would be a mixture of both.
