"Are we on the second floor or the third floor?" Corey asked.

"Um," Panuleon thought about it, but he didn't know where he was. "I have no idea."

They shrugged it off. Panuleon could easily fly back to the dining room.

They then came across a set of stairs leading up.

"This has to be the attic," Corey said, a little sceptical that they'd have the fourth floor.

Their curious minds led them up the staircase and of course, it was the attic as it was filled with all sorts of weird and wonderful things.

Panuleon watched Corey's eyes grow wide with wonder and he knew they'd be up here for a while.

Oliver watched Vinny as he buttoned up his shirt. He was stood with boxers on but nothing else.

His eyes were glazed over with love, they always are after they share such an intimate moment together.

"Are you not getting dressed?" Vinny asked as he threw his jeans at him.

Oliver grinned but he continued to watch his soulmate.

Just then, their door opened and in walked Duke.

Vinny thankfully had boxers on too as he stopped buttoning up his shirt.

"Are you kidding me?" He asked.

Duke obviously froze, but when he realised they were not completely naked, he took a step forward.

"I just wanted to talk about-"

"Dad," Vinny said as Oliver pulled on his jeans. "Get out."

"Alright, alright," He said while holding his hands up and backing out of the room. "Just meet me in my study."

He then shut the door behind him.

"I'm buying a lock" Vinny grumbled as he pulled on his trousers.

"You'd think after all this time he would've learnt to knock" Oliver chuckled.

Vinny hated that he still didn't understand privacy, even now that they are married.

When they were both dressed, Oliver turned and wrapped his arms around his vampire.

"I love you," He said with a warm smile.

"I love you too" Vinny replied as they gave each other a quick kiss.

They then intertwined their hands and headed towards the door.

Their cravings of affection had died down now but of course, they still couldn't resist making that physical touch.

As they made their way down the corridor, they knew what Duke wanted to talk about.

The baby.

Vinny didn't actually mind, he found it quite exciting to talk about but it was very early days yet. Although, their minds were slowly adjusting. Especially now that their parents know.

As they approached the door, Vinny walked into the room to see his dad casually sitting at his desk.

"Come in, take a seat" Duke smiled.

They did that but pulled the chairs closer so they could be right next to each other.

Duke watched them both as a proud look flashed in his eyes.

"I just can't believe you're going to be parents."

Oliver felt a jolt of nerves hit his chest every time someone referred to him as being a future parent.

"So, you probably know that Madison has been looking at baby stuff already" Duke chuckled, making Vinny sit back in his chair, he should have known she'd be this excited. "But I just wanted to ask how you're both doing with this news."

He wanted to know if they were coping okay with it and not getting stressed or worked up about the life-changing situation.

"It's hard explaining," Oliver said truthfully. "Sometimes, it feels real but other times I just feel like I'm remembering a really weird dream."

Duke nodded. That's exactly how he would feel if an angel told him he was pregnant.

"But do you feel stressed, scared or anything like that?"

"Scared, yes," Oliver said as he looked at Vinny. "But I'm not stressed, I'm starting to feel positive about it."

Vinny studied his beautiful eyes for a moment until he decided to speak up.

"We both know nothing about parenting, nothing about raising a child or how to care for a newborn baby. I don't even know what pregnant people experience and what's normal for them to go through. I know virtually nothing, but I'm still happy at the thought of having a baby that's just ours" He said, opening his inner thoughts, only for a second.

Duke was very pleased that Vinny put his walls down for a minute, but that just meant he was ready to accept any help that he had to offer him.

"Having a baby, as you know, is a huge responsibility. But your mother and I are here to walk you through every step. You're not going through this alone and even John has talked about it none stop."

Oliver smiled at that. Their baby is going to be so spoiled by its grandparents.

"Thank you for being so understanding. I know it's weird for us to come home after a demon war and tell you that I'm pregnant. How ridiculous does that sound?" Oliver chuckled.

They never imagined that their future would be like this, but it was full of adventure and excitement and that's what life's all about.

"Very ridiculous, but I'm really happy that you've received this amazing opportunity to have children of your own."

That was a very big factor in this whole process, it was a pure miracle.

"Me too," They said in unison.

Vinny wrapped an arm around Oliver's waist and kissed lightly on his temple.

Duke smiled. It was such a calming sight to have them home and to see them together. It was even more heartwarming to see that their relationship is incredibly strong, even when life gets tough.

"I've spoken to Corey and Panuleon about everything, like baby things and so on. They seem very excited by this."

"They've accepted all of this very smoothly. I mean, who just moves to a different world with a bunch of strangers that easily?" Oliver asked. He was impressed by how they look at everything with such an open mind and they seem like very chilled out people.

"I know" Duke chuckled. "But they're nice and it's strange seeing another couple who's just as loved up as you two."

Vinny watched Oliver smile. He just couldn't stop looking at him.

Oliver turned his head as his smile widened. He was aware that Vinny's gaze hasn't left his face.

"I don't know what you're talking about, we're not loved up at all" Oliver joked.

Duke scoffed.

They were sitting incredibly close with their arms wrapped around each other. Love was basically oozing out of them.

"You two kiss more times in one hour than I blink in a day."

"That's probably true" Vinny mumbled. Yes, they kiss a lot but each one feels just as magical as their very first kiss they had in the snow, all those years ago.

"Yup," Oliver chirped and leant his head in before giving him a kiss on the lips.

Vinny gratefully took it. he will never get tired of kisses.

Never.

​​​​​"Oh, It's heavy," Corey breathed as Panuleon quickly took a vase off him before he dropped it.

He chuckled and put it back.

"I can't believe how much stuff they have from so many years ago," Corey said as his gaze wandered over the many boxes he has rummaged through.

"It's nice, looking through bits of history," Panuleon said, also gazing around the huge attic.

Corey took a step closer and leant into him. He was beginning to feel a little tired. He hasn't had a decent night's sleep in almost a week and he was running low on energy.

"Pan, I think I need to relax for a little while."

His mind had gone into overdrive since he got here.

"I agree," The angel said as he looked down and ran a gentle hand through his soulmates hair. "Let's fly back to the dining room."

They both knew they would get completely lost if they tried looking for it.

"Okay," Corey smiled as Panuleon lifted him up.

He wrapped his arms and legs around him and rested his head on his shoulder as Panuleon shined his wings.

They immediately brightened up the attic while Corey gazed at the perfect white feathers.

And in a blink of an eye,

They were gone.

The staff glanced at Vinny and Oliver as they walked down the grand hallways of their home. It was nice to see the boys back in the mansion after something so terrifying.

Oliver wondered how they would react to their news but it was best not to think about it just yet. They probably had a few months until he was noticeably showing.

They made their way into the dining room with plans of doing a major chilling out session.

They said hi to Jed on the way in and was surprised to see Aliyah standing and talking with Madison.

"Ah boys, there you are. Did you go for a little nap?" She asked as they walked over.

Oliver glanced at Vinny who was practically begging him with his eyes not to go down that road, especially when Madison is still psyched up from their news.

"Something like that" Oliver grinned.

Madison ignored that and decided to inform them on what she and the angel were talking about.

"Aliyah is going to stay with us until you and Corey have given birth because she's a midwife and it'll stop you from going back and forth to the hospital. Also, if we get the first aid room ready, you can have the baby here."

Vinny was a little taken back by how quick she was sorting things out, but it was less for them to worry about.

"Okay, thank you Aliyah" Oliver smiled.

"You're very welcome," She said as she was feeling excited to go through this extraordinary journey with them.

They both then turned towards the couches, but Panuleon and Corey landed right in front of them.

Oliver stopped, he was a little stunned by their entrance but it's something he'll need to get used to.

Panuleon put Corey down as they both smiled at the other couple.

"Hello," Oliver said. They loved how he was always so friendly. "Did you both have a look around for a bit?"

"Yes," Panuleon said as Vinny walked over to the couches.

"We looked in your attic," Corey said as they followed and sat opposite them. "It's full of so many random things."

"Yeah, I love to look in there when I'm bored," Oliver said.

"I feel like we've still got a lot more to see though" Corey chuckled. They've probably only adventured around maybe half of the mansion.

"We'll give you a proper tour tomorrow," Oliver said. He felt too tired today and all he wanted to do was sit and chill out.

The boys agreed, also wanting to just relax for the rest of the day.

All of them started to feel emotionally and physically tired. Well, except for Panuleon.

But they couldn't wait to have a good night's sleep and Panuleon couldn't wait to watch over Corey. It would be nice for him to witness a relaxing night that wasn't filled with tension and nerves from a surprise demon attack.

So far, this world seemed good. In fact, it was perfect and it came with everything they've ever wanted.

Their lives are now set for a smooth road ahead.

They felt ready for whatever life throws at them,

And that includes a child.
