Corey and Panuleon had just been shown to their new room.

It was on the same corridor as Vinny and Oliver's but at the other end.

Jed had left them to it as he stood at his usual post in the corridor. If felt good for him to be doing his normal duties in a place that's so familiar to him.

Vinny and Oliver were having some time to themselves in the bedroom.

Everyone just wanted to relax.

"Do you think the bed is big enough?" Corey grinned as he sat on the edge. It was big enough for at least six people and even then, they'd have a lot of room to sleep. And it's not like he takes up a lot of space.

Panuleon smiled as he looked around the huge bedroom.

It was the same layout as Vinny and Oliver's except, it was brighter with the woodwork and the paint.

"I can't believe anyone would live in such a huge mansion" He said as he came over and sat next to his soulmate.

"It's incredible" Corey breathed as he flopped back and onto the covers.

Panuleon turned and quickly grabbed him.

Corey squirmed and laughed as he pulled him up the bed. he then laid gently on top of him and wrapped his arms around his shoulders.

"Who knew we'd end up here at the start of this week?"

Corey gazed sweetly into his angel's hazel eyes as he wrapped his arms around the back of his head.

"I know, things change so quickly."

"They do," Panuleon said softly, but they both knew it was definitely for the better.

He then lowered his head until his lips connected with his soulmates.

Corey loved the feel of his warm body, protecting his as he kissed him back.

They both felt the affection, comfort, and the calm atmosphere to be very inviting and they couldn't wait to begin their new lives here.

Panuleon traced his fingers down the side of Corey's face as he stole another kiss.

Just then, there was a knock at the door.

Panuleon lifted his head and turned, but when nobody came in, he climbed off the bed and pulled Corey up too. The door was too far away from the bed for them not to go together.

When they opened the door, Duke was standing on the other side.

He gave them both a friendly smile.

"Hello boys, is it okay if I talk to you for a moment?" He asked.

"Of course," Panuleon said as Duke then turned and walked down the corridor.

They took that as a signal to follow him.

Duke lead them to his study, which was only down the hall.

"Come in and take a seat," He said as he shut the door behind him.

Yes, Panuleon was naturally wary of this situation. They don't know this man, therefore, they don't know his intentions.

Duke sat at his desk and linked his fingers together.

"So, moving into someone else's home must be rather daunting for you both and you may be wondering about the financial side of things," He said and waited for them to nod, which they did. "But I don't want you to worry. You're staying here for free and I will have it no other way."

Corey raised his eyebrows at the kind offer, but surely he can't except that.

"But-"

"No" Duke interrupted. "No buts. I can't imagine what it must have been like for you both to lose your parents at a young age and then have to put up with those hell hounds for all those years. Coming here is a clean slate for you both and we want your lives to be comfortable and happy."

"Duke, are you sure? This seems like too much" Panuleon said.

"Of course. in fact, I'm more than sure. We are so happy to have extra company and it's not a problem for us to cater for two more people."

Panuleon and Corey looked at each other. They wanted to protest but Duke seemed pretty adamant that they could do nothing and still live in their home, free of charge.

"And about your child" He added before they could argue against his proposal. "As you can see, my wife is incredibly excited about having children brought into this home and she would like to buy everything you will need to raise a child. We don't want you to stress about how you will afford things such as cots, buggies, bottles and so on."

Now this was definitely too big for them to accept.

"We can't accept that," Corey said. "It's just too much."

Duke knew they would say that.

"The both of you, Vinny and Oliver have been brought together for a very special reason. Your children. It's not like any of this was planned and it will be too stressful for you to raise money of your own. But we have everything you will need right here and please accept this, as our gift to you."

Corey opened his mouth but shut it again. He didn't expect him to be so generous.

"Look, I know it's hard to accept such a big offer, but clearly you two will be part of my son's life for the rest of your own. Eventually, you'll be family and this is how we treat our family" Duke said. "So, I don't want you to object to my offer and I want you to let it take a weight off your mind, okay?"

It was clear that the Vanderwood's have so much money, but most rich families are not this generous to newcomers. Although, the Vanderwood's are very decent people and if they can help, they will.

Panuleon knew Duke would reject anything they had to offer, he seemed stubborn in that way, like Vinny.

"I'm speechless" He then said. "We did not expect this at all, thank you so much, it's very kind of you."

Duke loved how polite angels are.

"You're more than welcome and I hope you're settling in okay?"

Corey nodded. He was still stunned by such kindness.

"Good, Now I'll let you get back to settling in and Corey if you need anything, just ask. I know you would have left most of your belongings in the other world."

"I'm okay for now, but thank you, thank you so much" He beamed.

"You're welcome" Duke smiled as he watched them stand up and head to the door.

They said thank you one last time before entering the corridor.

When the door was shut, Duke smiled to himself. It felt good to help them and he knew they would've needed it but were too polite to ask.

Corey and Panuleon looked at each other with raised eyebrows and excited eyes. They couldn't believe they're allowed to stay here for free. And the fact that Madison wanted to buy all of the things for the arrival of their baby was a magical feeling. One that did put their minds at rest.

"I feel like the luckiest person in the world right now" Corey chuckled as the passing staff gave them smiles.

They were informed that Corey and Panuleon are staying with them and not to worry if they see them wandering around.

It made sense to the couple that they would need so many workers as this house was huge.

Panuleon took Corey's hand and squeezed it tight.

"Come on then, let's go explore."

Oliver bit his lip as Vinny climbed on top of him.

He was laying on the bed and he could feel his vampires love, shining strong in his heart.

Over the years, they've definitely become used to each other in this way and never hold back any feelings that they may have.

Vinny's eyes traced over him and admittedly, he was hungry for the taste of his skin.

Oliver could see the desire in his eyes and he missed this too.

Vinny brought his face in close until his nose brushed across his soulmates.

"Kiss me Oliver" His deep voice whispered tenderly.

That was enough for Oliver.

He pulled on the back of Vinny's head and crashed their lips together.

Vinny immediately kissed him with passion and love.

Oliver embedded his fingers into his hair as he felt his body push harder against his.
