And we come to the end of my 61,000 and something word manuscript. I started writing this a day before my birthday in May and today; 31st of July, Blood Moon meets its end.

I think the main theme of this book isn't conveys with sad pasts or even the concept of cults - although it started out that way, it became a book centering around grief, how it is dealt with and the madness it drives one to, letting go is fucking hard, but letting go as people think doesn't mean forgetting the past, it means remembering fondly and not letting that past pain destroy you. At least that was how I tried to look at after I lost someone dear to me.

I could write a thousand thank yous and love yous but they wouldn't even express my happiness that you, yes YOU, chose to stick with me on this shortish journey. I love you and I want to do the same for you, my DMS are open if you want to talk anything, the best thing about Wattpad isn't even getting to express my words, the best part is meeting people like you.

I started writing this book to the song; Look What You Made Me do and right now, I'm bopping to Someday by Kygo/Zac Brown. That's growth if you ask me ;-)

Anyway, BLOOD MOON is over, but not really, the sequel is called . . . BLUE WATER (the cover is up there)

Anyway, it probably won't be out until early next year, I haven't even began plotting it yet but Lekan's story isn't over yet. Fingers crossed for 2021, I can be very funny with writing sequels (never written one before anyway)

Now, onto the fun facts, I'll give 5;

1. Nehemiah and Alisha have their own book, I wrote and completed it in April, it's called Goldfish Bowl but it's not here on Wattpad (I've plans for it.)

2. Zeke's name was first Elisha.

3. The little stories at the end of chapter 1 up to 20 are commentary that goes with images from Lekan's autobiographical comic (I might do a graphic novel in the future.)

4. A song that describes the gang perfectly is We R Who We R by Ke$ha or We Own It by Wiz Khalifa & 2Chainz.

5. Blood Moon was first called In Your Eyes and was inspired by The Weeknd's song of the same name. It was also inspired by Tower Prep - a show I watched when I was a kid about a mysterious prep school off the maps that recruits kids with abilities.
