13: MISSING BAMBI

Chapter Thirteen: not edited

[THIS EPISODE ALWAYS CREEPS ME OUT SO BE WARNED IT MAY NOT BE THE FULL ONE. ALSO REMEMBER CHARLIE IS FROM THE BLOODY MARY EPISODE.]

"Have you jumped his bones yet?" Was the first thing Charlie said into the phone when Rory sped dial her.

Rory was currently walking from the grocery store, a bag of grocery's in his hands. He needed to get out of the motel room, so what better way then going shopping for food. He knew that Sam and Dean needed some protein, much to the eldest Winchesters dismay, so that made him go at seven in the night to get some while the Winchesters brothers went to investigate another hunting trip.

"Charlie! I taught you better than this." The blonde shifted the phone to his other ear while he smiled at a random person who walked past him.

"No you didn't." Charlie says into the phone, a small smile dancing on her lips. "The only thing you taught me is that we shouldn't hide our feelings. Be true to ourselves."

Rory couldn't help but smile as well. "You remember that?"

"Of course, Rory. Why wouldn't I?"

"I dunno. I mean, after everything you've been through, I thought you would toss that piece of advice away."

On the other side of the line, Charlie frowned. She knew what the blonde was referring to, and it hurt to think about it. Her boyfriend's death wasn't something she liked to talk about anymore, especially since she still blamed herself for it.

She was quiet for a second, making Rory speak up. "Did I go too far? I didn't mean-"

"Rory." She sighed, tapping her fingers on top of the counter she was sitting next to. "It's not that. Trust me, I'm fine. I'm worried about you."

"Okay.. how did this change from me worrying about you, to me? I'm fine, Charlie."

"No, you're not. You haven't grieved over your sister's death-"

A beep sounded from the other line.

"Hey, listen I got to go, Leo is calling me."

"Rory-"

"Talk soon?"

"Yeah." She rubbed the edge of her chin, sighing. "Be safe."

"I always am." He grinned from ear to ear.

He clicked the switch button to answer Leo's call.

He walked around the corner of the grocery store, a beat to his step as he waited for the call to connect. He couldn't understand why Leo was calling him. It wasn't like the pair were close. Leo was closer to Dean, so maybe something was the matter with him.

Who really knew?

"Hello?" Rory said into the phone once he heard a click.

"Rory? Are you okay? Where the hell have you been?" Leo rushed out from the other line.

"Shopping. Where have you been?" He teased.

"This isn't time for jokes, asshat." Leo said into the phone furiously. "Your future boyfriend has gone missing."

The blonde's heart dropped.

"I-Is he okay? Where's Dean?!" He yelled into the phone. "Why wasn't he watching him?"

"Could you please stop freaking yelling into the phone?" Leo grumbled lowly, then sighed. "Just come back to the motel we're waiting for you."

And with that, a beep was heard.

By the time Rory got back to the motel, the food was spoiled since it started to rain midway through his run. He wasn't to worried about the food, he was more concerned about Sam and his whereabouts. How did he manage to go undetected under his older brother's watchful eyes?

But whoever took him now had a death sentence on him since the eldest Winchester was overly protective over his younger brother.

"Okay, Dean. You have one chance to explain-" Rory barged into their room to see a sight that made him stop talking.

The raven haired male, known as Leo, had his arm around Dean Winchester's shoulder, comforting him. That made the blonde raise an eyebrow in question. What exactly was going on here? Did they have some secret relationship they didn't know about?

"Can you see he's upset, Rory? You have no right to barge into here and shout out accusations like that." Leo stood up from the bed, glaring at him.

"Okay calm down, Romeo." Dean placed a hand on the boy's shoulder. "Rory was only joking." He gave the blonde a look when he was about to protest.

The blonde placed his lips in a firm line and nodded. "So Sam? What do we know about him?"

"Well, we know he's freakishly tall-"

"Dean!"

"Okay, okay. Calm down. Can a man only joke around?"

"No." He deadpanned, rolling his eyes at Dean.

"Okay back to the main problem at hand guys." Leo broke them apart, giving them a hard look. He turned to look at Dean. "When was the last time you saw him?"

"A few hours ago.." Dean muttered, then spoke up. "We were drinking at this bar, and I left Sam for a second to take a leak, but when I got back he was gone. I told him to wait outside, but..." His voice trailed off, clearing his throat. "God, I never should have left him alone."

To see a man look so broken made Rory swallow hard. He knew that on the outside, Dean was a hard shell to break, but once someone gets into the middle, he's just a man who's only sole purpose is to look out for his little brother, something the blonde could relate to with his now dead sister.

Thinking of Jessica made him flinch internally, and it wasn't a great feeling to have at this moment since someone he cares about is also missing now. Rory knew that he must get over this feeling and help Dean and Leo find Sam, but how could he possibly have the strength to do so.

"Should we go to the police?" Leo asks curiously. "They'll have a better luck finding someone missing than we can."

"We can't." He shook his head, eyeing Dean for a second. "I mean, unless Dean grows a mustache we can."

"Don't worry, Rory. My mug shots are off the walls now." Dean smirked, but then saw the look on the blonde's face when he saw him eyeing Leo with a panicked look. "Don't worry, I told you Leo the truth."

"You told him your family secret?!"

"Yeah, I kind of had to, you know? Since mister hot shot over here kept asking questions." Even though, Dean was upset, he couldn't help but give Leo a playful look.

"Aww, aren't you guys cute." The blonde grinned, showing off his white teeth. "But we can save that later. We have my Bambi to save."

Leo gave him a confused look. "Bambi?"

"Don't ask, just don't."

After the stressful night that the three of them had, it was time to look for Sam Winchester. Rory had no clue how they're going to manage to find him when the town was so small. Even though that sounds easy, but it's really not because the smallest towns could have the most hideouts.

Currently, Rory and Leo were waiting for a signal from Dean to go follow him after he talked to the police, but Leo decided for them to stay behind at the hotel in case he comes back. He knew that something was up, but he didn't know what, and that scared him to no end.

When the sun started to go down, Rory was growing concerned by the minute. Dean should've have called them or sent a text by now, but he didn't. Swallowing hard, he looked at Leo, who was laying on the bed, looking at the ceiling with an unreadable expression on his face.

"Where's Dean? He should've called by now!"

"Chill, he should call any time now." Leo grumbled, pulling the blanket over his head. When he peeked through the covers, he saw the blonde start to pace around the room. "Honestly, Rory. You need to calm down."

"I-I can't calm down. You know how much Sam means to me."

"I know, I know. But I don't want to see yourself get worked up.."

"I'm allowed to worry, Leo." He says a bit harshly.

Before Leo could respond, a ding went off on the blonde's cellphone. "About time." Rory grumbled. "It's already getting late, and I don't think I could wait any longer."

He clicked on the text from Dean.

From Angry Spice
I found Sam. He's beaten up but fine. But we need a ride back to the car. Could you get it from the police station and come get us before Sam over here throws a fit?

He chuckled and quickly sent a text back to him for his location.

"What he'd say?" Leo questioned.

Rory read the text out loud to the raven haired male before both of them head out to get the impala from the police station. His whole body felt numb from the amount of nervousness and fright he had felt today. But hearing the news that Sam was back and not badly hurt made him pleased with Dean for once.

And that was the truth.

He was happy that Sam had a brother like Dean Winchester in his life. Sam was lucky, and the blonde knew that. Rory wished he had more time with his younger sister, but he knew that'll never happen since she was brutally murdered by a demon. How painful her death must have been.

Dusk touched the edge of the sky by the time they reached the destination Sam and Dean where at. As soon as Rory stopped the car, he jumped out of the front seat and ran to where the two brothers were heading towards them.

"Hey Rory-" Sam started to say, but he let out a yelp when the blonde's hand slapped him across the face. "Dude, what the hell?! What was that for?"

"That's for scaring me, you asshole!" Rory went to slap him again, but Sam grabbed his arms and pulled him into his body. "You're an asshole, Sam Winchester." But he couldn't help but melt into his arms with a pleased look on his face.

"I know." Sam smiled softly in return.

And that's how the night ended with each other in their arms.

Oh my gosh, I'm sorry this chapter is so late.

I'm so sorry for the long wait. I've been so busy with life that I had completely gave up writing for a bit. But now I'm back hooray. Guys lets try to give more votes and comments-- that gives me more motivation to write these chapters for you.

This chapter was horrible and I'm sorry about that, please forgive me.

For people who are asking, Sam and Rory will get together, but I want character development first! So it maybe a couple more chapters before they do.
