After what happened with the King of all vampires, Dean lead me to his room (😏). I wasn't shocked to find his room empty other than a King size bed with a small blanket on it.

"Wow-" I accidentally said out loud when I walked in just as Dean shut and locked the door behind us. (😏 Lol okay, I'll stop)

When he took his jacket off he sighed at me with a glare. "Go ahead and get to sleep, just not on the bed." He told me. I couldn't help but snicker a bit and stare at him in disbelief.

"Are you serious? Where else am I supposed to sleep?" I ask. He was dead serious.

"I'm serious, sleep on the floor like the mutt you are, human. I may have been assigned to protect you from harm, but that doesn't mean I have to be nice to you." Dean said as he stretched and yawned as he plopped on the bed and cut the lights out WITH ME STANDING THERE.

I just rolled my eyes, being hurt and laid on the cold, hard wooden floor as it was very uncomfortable. "You wouldn't happen to have any spare blankets, would you?"

"Nope. Now shut up and sleep. We've got a busy day tomorrow." He mumbles, annoyed.

I sigh." No pillow-" I was smacked in the face by the pillow as an "oof" escaped me.

"Thanks, asshole." I mumble as I rest my head on the soft pillow. Yeah, my back ached and my side hurt from the wooden floor, but it's fine. Or so I thought.

I didn't realize I was groaning in pain in my sleep until the lights flickered on and an angry set of bright golden eyes stared at me.

"Why the hell won't you shut up?" He asked, his tone serious.

I seem confused as I went to move, but gasp in pain as my back ached. "A-Ah!" I whine in pain as Dean's expression changed a bit as he seemed to understand.

"Oh... Um...sorry.." he lifted me up. "I forget how fragile you humans are. Here sleep with me." He offered as he laid me on the bed.

S-Sleep with him?! I thought.

My cheeks instantly burned as I felt myself blush. "S-Sleep with you?" The words slipped out.

"You know what I meant." He glared at me and cut the lights back out as he laid beside me in the dark.

I hesitated for a long time to go back to sleep, but I started to slowly drift to sleep.

"Dean?.." I mumble.

No answer. Of course.

"Have you ever loved someone? No matter how much they didn't know you loved them? Even if others saw it?" I asked.

I could feel him staring at me as I had my eyes closed. For a long pause, he answered.

"No. Why?"

"Just asking. I was that way with this guy named Seth. I was blindly in love. Even if he was mean to me."

"What?" I felt a bit of shock in Dean's voice. "Why the hell would you do that?"

"Because. Love is stupid sometimes." I smile softly. He felt it.

"Tsk. Humans..." I felt an eye roll was with that comment as I just giggle. "You're funny when your mad. I don't understand why your mad."

"Hm... Do you still love him?" He asked.

"Of course. Why wouldn't I? I love him, silly. He'll notice me one day.." I tell myself that, but he'll never see me...

" I can feel your weird aura. Why so sad?" He asked, his voice gentle now. Oh? I didn't know he could sound like that. I blush. " W-Well..."

"He... Kind of embarrassed me in front of everyone..." I start.

"How so?" He went on.

"He told me he loved me, we even went out as a couple. Then... When he asked me to come to him in the school yard... He beat me. Left me there to die..." Tears fill my eyes.

Dean was silent. "And you still love him?..." His voice was angry now, but more concerned.

I hesitated, but nodded. "Yes. Of course."

Dean sighs deeply. "He doesn't deserve you then. Some humans deserve to die.. ahem. Sorry for your pitty party... But sleep." He seemed awkward now.

I smile softly. "Thanks for listening.." I doze off.
