LARA MARCH WOULD NOT REFER TO HERSELF as a loser. She had plenty of friends and she was smart, sure, but she wasn't a nerd. Among her peers, she was discriminated against because of other things, such as her father's criminal history and her "severe anger issues" which were first brought to light when she punched Yasmine in freshman year.

People called her a psycho which she got used to by sophomore year. She didn't mind it as much at that point. Nobody wanted to mess with her outside of class (the only place where she couldn't cause a scene) and it made her best friends less likely to get bullied.

Lara always wondered where she got her temper and violet tendencies from. Her father was a lousy criminal but a calm person. She guessed she inherited it from her mother's side of the family, although Noel March always described her deceased wife as an angel.

She didn't know it, but that anger ran in her family and then it ran into her. It was purely biological. However, everything that occurred after Miguel Diaz stumbled upon Lara's cafeteria table proved that there was something far worse inside of her that was waiting to come out.
