A pain filled scream peirces my ears as the girl in my arms gasps for breath. Blood runs down the corners of her lips, and she tries to speak to her mate.

"I-I, love you Tony-" she says, barey audible. I watch her eyes glaze over and she slumps against me, still and unmoving.

"Bitch!!! I'll kill you!" Tony screams at me, tears running down his face. The men holding him back let him go and he leaps at me.

I snatch the dagger from Aspen's throat and deliver a spinning roundhouse kick to Tony's chest. He flies back and hits the wall, it would have knocked out any wolf by the force, but his rage kept him going.

His eyes turn pitch black, and I know his wolf has taken over. He starts running for me, and I throw my dagger. It finds its mark in his forehead, buried to the hilt.

I remove it just as he falls onto the ground beside his mate. I turn my gaze to Blake, who seems to be shaking in uncontrollable rage.

I wipe the blood from my dagger onto my pants, all the while smirking at Blake.

"Hurts when someone messes with your family, doesn't it?" I snarl. His eyes swirl ice blue, and I watch his fangs and claws sharpen.

Is everyone good? I mindlink Hailey quickly.

All but Shade, she replies making me growl furiously.

"I'm glad your father broke our bond, otherwise I never would have seen the monster in you," Blake growls.

"Trust me bitch, I'm not the monster around here," I snarl with swirling red eyes.

He lets out a horrible roar, and leaps at me. I dart out of the way, and turn to see that all the warriors have disappeared.

I run as fast as I can out the door, and see Jackson and Jinx.

"Get out of here Raven! He will kill you," Jackson hisses.

"I've almost killed him twice, its not him I'm worried about," I mutter with a growl and look around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Shade.

I hear a crash, and Blake's blood red wolf comes smashing through the front door. His icy gaze reaches us, and he bares his teeth in a writhing snarl.

"Great catching up with you guys, but I have to go now," I say quickly before running for the forest. I hear thundering paws behind me, and I leap into a tree.

A furry red shape shoots past me, and I quickly take off my boots, belt, and pants. I leave them in the tree before jumping down, shifting in the process.

I land gracefully on four paws, and follow Blake's scent. I catch sight of him, and he suddenly turns and starts running towards me.

We both jump at the same time, and collide with snapping jaws and slashing claws. I feel his claws rake across my back, but don't feel any pain.

His jaws latch onto my shoulder, and mine onto his neck. We tumble through the forest, breaking everything in our path.

My back claws slash at his exposed belly, and feel the warmth of his blood on my paws. He howls in pain, releasing my now bloodied shoulder.

I jump away from him, and he faces me with bared teeth. I show him my sharpened canines and growl.

I stand on my back paws, and he does the same.

"Submit!" I snarl. He lets out a throaty chuckle.

"You really think that would work?"

"No, but it will if I use my Alpha voice," I sneer. I see fear flash in his eyes for a moment before being replaced by anger.

"Submit!" I snarl in my Alpha voice. I watch him visibly struggle to disobey my command. But he is in his Lycan form, meaning he has less control, so after a minute he falls to the dirt with his neck bared.

I growl happily, and smash a large paw onto his head. He yelps once and falls to the ground, knocked out cold.

I run back to the tree and shift again, less concerned about killing Blake and more focused on finding Shade. I pull on my pants, boots, and belt. In my belt I grab a spare sports bra and slip that on before making my way back towards the pack.

My dagger in hand, I head towards my territory. I make it over the border and burst through the trees into the Main Clearing.

My shoulder was bleeding heavily, and my back was scratched badly. I see Hailey come running from the hospital, straight towards me.

She barrels into my, and hugs me tightly. I roll my eyes and push her away gently.

"What did you do?" She exclaims looking at my blood covered body.

"I got into a fight with Blake after I killed his sister and Third in Command," I shrug.

"Did you kill him?" My head warrior, Jace, asks from beside me.

"No, I just knocked him out."

"Why didn't you kill him?" One of my warriors growls. I glare at him with red eyes, making him whimper and bow his head.

"Because that is not how I want to kill him. I want to defeat him in a fight and make his entire pack submit to me, besides, I was looking for my cousin," I shrug. Hailey shakes her head with a chuckle and leads me into the hospital to clean my injuries.

"Where the hell are you going?" A voice asks behind me as I pull on my boots.

"I'm going to get her," I say snapping on my weapons belt.

"You are truly insane Raven," my brother mutters leaning against my bedroom door frame.

"Tell me something I don't know," I roll my eyes and push past him. He chuckles and follows me down the stairs and out the door.

I pull up my hair as I walk through the dark forest. Derek walks beside me through the trees and into the main clearing.

Hailey appears in front of me with crossed arms. I raise an eyebrow at her defiant stance, and Derek chuckles quietly.

"You were going to leave without me?" She frowns.

"You're not coming," I shrug.

"It's too dangerous," Derek adds.

"Your not coming either," I say with an amused look at my brother.

"What? Why not?!" He growls.

"Because I said so," I smirk, crossing my arms over my chest.

"And everything you say is law right?" Hailey scoffs with a roll of her eyes.

"Uh yeah, actually it is," I grin.

"Oh, right, I forgot," Hailey mutters with furrowed eyebrows.

"Well I'm leaving, so Derek you are in charge, and I will let you guys know if I need any help," I say and start walking for the border.

"Does she have a death wish?" I hear Hailey ask Derek.

"I believe she does, but something makes me think it won't be granted," Derek sighs.

"Why do you sound so sad when you say that?" I call back.

"You heard that?" He says sheepishly.

"I'm a Lycan, I hear everything," I scoff and vanish into the trees.

The nearly full moon shines through the trees, giving the forest a mystical look. In two days it will be full, and I will have to choose a new Beta, and Gamma.

I will initiate Shade as my fellow Alpha, and I have decided to make Derek my Beta. I'm thinking about making my head warrior my Gamma instead, but I still have two days to make my desicion final.

Shade must be in the prison, right? I think.

You truly are a dumb bitch, Ira snorts. I roll my eyes and growl at her. She cackles like a hyena and I block her out.

I run under the cover of darkness until I am directly behind the entrance to the prison. There are two guards at the entrance, both facing away from me.

I creep up behind them and snap their necks without a sound. I slip through the door, and run down the dimly lit stairway.

I follow Shade's scent and kill four more guards before I reach her cell. I look through the bars, to find it empty.

"They took her Raven, but she'll be back," a raspy voice says behind me. I turn and gasp.

"Jinx?" I ask, a hand over my mouth. Her beautiful body is bruised and battered, the light in her eyes, faded and dim.

She nods, tears threatening to spill. I rush over to her cell, and pull the silver bars apart.

Stepping inside, I fall to my knees in front of Jinx. She throws her arms around my waist and sobs into my lap.

I stroke her hair gently, and try to make out what she was saying.

"He's horrible Rave, I hate him. He is so different without you," she hiccups.

"What did he do?" I ask softly. I knew she was talking about Blake, there was no doubt about it.

"He k-killed Jackson!" She cries.

"Why would he kill his own Beta?" I ask, furrowing my brows.

"We were talking to you, and we are friends, it makes sense. I still hate him for it though. He tortured Jackson, and I sat here until he died," she shivers, tears streaming down her face.

It tore me apart to see her like this. Jinx was one of the strongest people I know, and my ex-mate has crushed her into a broken pup.

"Is there anything I can do?" I ask. She whimpers and look up at me with pleading, desperate eyes.

"Kill me."
