Ch14-The Trial

The day of Eros and Harrisons trial came as they were lead away towards a portal by the guard to await trial at Arcadius Eros spoke "Cassie please you know I would never hurt you I have the same feelings for you that the king and prince do don't let them do this?" he pleaded.

Cassie looked at him and spoke "I'm sorry it's out of my hands" she said as Eros and Harrison disappeared with the guard.

"We will be back shortly" Isaac said.

"My king" Cassie said.

"You saw Lucifer in the other world didn't you when you drifted in and out of consciousness" Isaac said.

"I saw him and the others Dallas, Blade, Raphael, Isabelle and Faith" Cassie said.

"Dad I don't want anyone else dying please Eros helped save Summer spare his life?" Cassie asked.

"I'll consider it now your needed here" Isaac said as he disappeared with Kato after the Guard and the two prisoners.

Brooklyn got to work trying to track down who had saved Kato but was coming up blank whoever they were was a lot more powerful then he had imagined.

"What are you doing?" Katie asked as she ran over to Brooklyn and hugged him he smiled at the small child then knelt down and spoke to her "Nothing my dear I'm just trying to find someone for Isaac" Brooklyn replied.

"Are they in trouble?" Katie asked.

"No far from it this Warlock or Witch is quite powerful they saved Kato from Castillo and Andre" Brooklyn said.

"Katie what you have to understand is theirs not many Warlocks and Witches loyal to our king and Prince" Morgan said.

"Katie lets go your fathers waiting to see you and Ronnie" Miss James said.

"Want us to come with you if he tries something again" Daryl said.

"No I'm fine I'll be back later" Miss James said kissing Daryl then leaving with Ronnie and Katie her two sons had chosen to live with their dad so she only got to see them when she visited him.

At Arcadius, the trial of Eros and Harrison was well underway "Why did you pretend to be us?" Isaac asked directing his question at Eros.

"My mother was human she fell in love with a vampire Lord who corrupted her when he found out his second child would have been a girl my little sister so he took both their lives and since that day I tried to track down the man who destroyed my life but unfortunately others got to him first" Eros said.

"What Lord are you talking about?" Kato asked.

"It doesn't matter but as I plotted my revenge I came across a man who had everything he had friends and a family that was the life I wanted so that's when Andre found me and then after that I posed as you Isaac" Eros said.

"I would never hurt Cassie my feelings for her are the same as yours I would die to protect her and her children" Eros said.

Isaac looked at Eros then spoke "Fine Eros join the guard and promise to protect my daughter, my husband and myself" Isaac said.

"Isaac you can't let him get away with this" Romeo said standing in front of Isaac now.

Isaac placed a hand on Romeo's shoulders.

"Eros will join the guard or die he will not go near my daughter he will stay here at Arcadius" Isaac said.

"Please my king at least let me say goodbye to her?" Eros asked.

Isaac nodded Harrison you are free to go to but if you go a stray again I will kill you understand" Isaac said.

Harrison just nodded and disappeared from Arcadius.

Cassie was at home she walked into Brooklyns room and stopped in her tracks when she saw Faidon and Brooklyn with Morgan.

"I'm sorry I'll just go" she said disappearing Morgan and Faidon laughed and smiled at her then back at Brooklyn.

Faidon went to gently place his fangs on Morgans neck but Brooklyn placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Faidon your scaring him" Brooklyn said.

Faidon looked at Morgan who was physically shaking in Brooklyns arms Faidon got up and got changed hearing the sounds of voices down in the living room.

Cassie was on the floor she had drifted unconscious Adrian held her in his arms.

"We need to snap her out of this" he said scared now Faidon placed a hand on her neck to see if their were any signs of life.

"Don't touch her you did this" Adrian said now fighting Faidon who just took what Adrian gave him until Brooklyn broke them up using magic.

Cassie was now back in purgatory she saw Lucifer she hadn't forgiven him completely but she did miss him.

Cassie ran over and hugged him he was slightly shocked to see her but hugged her back.

"How are you back here?" he asked.
"I don't know I think im broken but what my father told you about a leader being able to summon the dead what if I'm that person?" Cassie said

"I'm starting to think that two little one" he said.

"You don't get to treat me like some kid you murdered my mother I've not forgiven you Lucifer" Cassie explained.

"I know but if your the key to getting back to the land of the living I'll do anything you ask?" Lucifer said.

"Hey love birds check this out?" Faith said pointing to a portal.

"Where does it go?" Cassie asked.
"Home let's go get the others we can all leave together" Faith said.

"Its a human portal only humans can cross through" a voice spoke from the trees we looked to see a familiar face which was of Salem.

"Salem what do you mean their are no humans here?" Raphael asked.

"I know what he means one or two of us need to step into that river over their and we become human then the others use them as soul trains until we get back home" Cassie said.

Lucifer started to walk towards the river he was scared Cassie took his hand and he looked at her.

"We do this together" Cassie said.
Lucifer nodded and they walked into the river.

Lucifer began to age Cassie however stayed relatively the same.

"Lucifer your not well you look like your going to pass out" Salem said holding his former friend up.

"I'm fine now you know what to do" he replied.

Salem disappeared and Lucifer felt pain shoot across his arm.

"Faith and Isabelle your turn" Cassie said.

Both Faith and Isabelle took my arm and disappeared I screamed then started to panic sensing someone was trying to bring me back around.

Raphael and Dallas used Lucifer and Blade used Cassie.

"Right let's go now we don't have much time" Cassie said taking Lucifers hand in hers.

"Cassie your the most beautiful ex supernatural I have ever seen" he commented.

Cassie smiled and crossed over into the portal just in time to wake up in the real world.

"Thank God your ok" Isaac said hugging her then Cassie cast out Faith,Isabelle and Blade.

Kato and Adrian looked pleased to see Faith and Isabelle and hugged them both they hugged back.

"How is this possible unless?" Isaac  asked.

"Your the ruler of the dead you can walk between world's" Isaac said.

"Not anymore my king she's human" Lucifer said standing their.

"Who are you?" Isaac asked as the guard had now turned their full attention on this man who was 30 years old.

Cassie stood infront of Lucifer sheilding him from the guard.

"Back down little wolf" he said going to touch my shoulder when Kato threw him into one of the walls.

"Kato stop it's Lucifer he's human now" Cassie said trying to plead with Kato.

Cassie helped Lucifer sit up "Where are the others?" Cassie asked.

"Safe I need some rest can you show me were the guest room is in this place my dear" he said.

"Sure this way" Cassie said helping him up with the assistance of Brooklyn who used his magic to ease Lucifers pain.

Eros appeared by Cassie's side "My life has been spared but I must join the guard and stay away from you" he said.

"Eros my father doesn't know you like I do once he sees how much you want to protect me and those he loves he will beleive in you" Cassie explained.

"Goodbye for now Cassandra" he whispered then hugged her she hugged him back and she watched him disappear back to Arcadius.
