The moment they stepped off the shuttle and onto Main Street, U.S.A., the excitement was palpable. The kids were buzzing with energy, their eyes lighting up at the sight of Cinderella's Castle in the distance. Isa watched as Sofia and Mateo ran ahead with Joelle and Waylon, already debating which ride to go on first.

Among the chaos, Isa felt a small tug at her hand. She looked down to see Kingston standing beside her, his big brown eyes staring up at her shyly.

"Can I walk with you, Tía Isa?" he asked softly.

Isa's heart melted at the request. She knew Kingston was the quietest of Roman and Galina's three kids, always a bit more reserved than his older siblings. She smiled, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. "Of course, sweetheart."

Jey, who had been walking beside her, raised an eyebrow at the sight. "Well, look at that. Kingston's got a new best friend."

Kingston nodded solemnly. "Tía Isa is nice," he said simply.

Jey smirked. "Ain't that the truth?"

Isa shook her head, amused, before looking back at Kingston. "You excited for today?"

The little boy nodded. "Yeah. But big rides are kinda scary."

Isa crouched slightly, still holding his hand. "You know what? They scared me when I was little too. But you don't have to go on anything you don't want to, okay? We can take it slow."

Kingston's face brightened a little. "Can we go on a small ride first?"

Isa nodded. "Absolutely. Let's find something fun."

Jey watched the interaction with a soft smile, nudging Roman, who had just caught up with them. "Hey, 'Uce... your boy just claimed Isa as his new favorite."

Roman glanced over, seeing Kingston still holding onto Isa's hand. He let out a small chuckle. "That's rare. He don't take to people that fast."

Galina, who had overheard, smiled. "Kingston's got good instincts. He knows Isa's good people."

Isa, overhearing the conversation, turned back to Kingston with a teasing smile. "Looks like we're besties now."

Kingston grinned. "Yeah!"

For the rest of the morning, Kingston stuck close to Isa's side, whether it was holding her hand in line, sitting beside her on rides, or making sure she was always nearby. Isa didn't mind one bit-there was something about his quiet, thoughtful nature that reminded her of Mateo.

As the day went on, Isa caught Jey watching her and Kingston interact, a fond look on his face. She raised an eyebrow at him. "What?"

Jey shrugged, smirking. "Just think it's real cute how the kids keep claimin' you. First Mateo, now Kingston."

Isa rolled her eyes but smiled. "Guess I just have that effect."

Jey leaned in, lowering his voice so only she could hear. "You really do, ma."

Isa felt her heart skip slightly, but before she could respond, Kingston tugged on her hand.

"Tía Isa, can we get ice cream?"

She laughed. "Of course, sweetheart. Let's go find some."

Jey followed behind, shaking his head with a chuckle. "Yep... Kingston's officially your shadow now."

And as the little boy happily walked hand-in-hand with Isa, she realized she didn't mind one bit.
