The morning sun had barely risen when Isa and Jey finished loading the last of the bags into the trunk. The twins, still groggy but excited, climbed into their booster seats, Sofia clutching her Minnie Mouse plush while Mateo settled in with his Spider-Man hoodie pulled over his head.

"You got everything?" Jey asked as Isa double-checked the essentials bag in the front seat.

"I think so," she replied, running through the checklist in her mind. Snacks? Check. Chargers? Check. Kids? Check.

Jey smirked as he slid into the driver's seat. "Alright then, let's hit the road."

The drive started off quiet, with Sofia and Mateo still waking up, but an hour in, the energy shifted. The twins took turns picking songs, and soon, the car was filled with a chaotic mix of Disney tunes, old-school R&B, and whatever random song Mateo decided was his favorite of the week.

Jey glanced at Isa as she sang along to Hakuna Matata with the kids, shaking his head with a grin. "You really know every word, huh?"

Isa smirked. "I am a mom."

Sofia giggled. "Daddy, you have to sing too!"

Jey chuckled. "Nah, y'all got it."

But the second Under the Sea came on, Isa shot him a knowing look. "Oh, don't play. I know you know this one."

Jey sighed dramatically, then started singing in a horrible Sebastian impression, making the twins burst into laughter.

The trip was smooth for the most part, except for the inevitable Are we there yet? every half hour. At one point, they stopped at a rest area so the kids could stretch their legs, and Jey surprised them with Mickey-shaped cookies from one of the vending machines.

"You really went full Disney mode already," Isa teased as he handed her one.

"Gotta set the vibe early," he said, winking.

Back on the road, the excitement grew as they got closer to Orlando. When they finally passed the first Disney billboards, Sofia and Mateo cheered, practically bouncing in their seats.

"Almost there, almost there!" Sofia chanted.

Isa turned to Jey with a smile. "They're never gonna forget this."

Jey glanced at her, his expression softer than before. "Neither will we."

As they exited the highway and the Disney welcome sign came into view, Isa realized something-this wasn't just a vacation. It was a moment, a memory being made in real time.

And no matter what happened after this trip, they would always have this.
