Hanahaki Disease
I never liked gym,
but I would have run a mile
for your attention.
This was the last time you turned your back on me.
This time I felt them;
all the pedals I ripped
from flowers just praying you'll notice me.
"She loves me,
she loves me not",
I repeated as the grass beside me lay vacant of the daisies beauty.
If I'd only known you'd choose the boy, with the hollow point smile, over me I wouldn't be choking on blood and pedals.
